In Murder Mystery 2, Ancient is the rarest tradeable weapon tier in the game, and it sits above Godly, not below it. Almost every value list and affiliate page gets that backwards. The Roblox wiki is explicit: Ancients are "the least abundant weapons", because they came from limited event tier tracks and retired Robux gamepasses rather than from boxes, so no new supply ever enters the economy.

This catalog carries the 14 obtainable Ancient weapons shown here. Nik's Scythe is deliberately not listed: it is gifted personally by Nikilis and is not a real market item.

What you are buying

  • Event-track Ancients such as Gingerscope, Gingerscythe and the Traveler's Axe, the top of the tier;
  • Gamepass Ancients such as Batwing, Icewing, Reaver and Icecrusher, all long since retired;

Is Ancient better than Godly in Murder Mystery 2?plus

Yes. In Murder Mystery 2 the tier ladder runs Unique, then Ancient, then Godly, then Legendary, Rare, Uncommon and Common. Ancient outranks Godly, and Chroma is not a tier at all: a Chroma is a colour-shifting variant that lives inside the Godly tier. The Murder Mystery 2 wiki describes Ancients as the least abundant weapons in the game.

How is a Murder Mystery 2 Ancient weapon delivered?plus

By in-game trade on Roblox, and only by in-game trade. A courier joins you in Murder Mystery 2, sends a trade request, and hands the Ancient over in the normal trade window. We only need your Roblox username, never your login details. Roblox requires you to be level 10 or higher in Murder Mystery 2 before trading is unlocked.

Why are some Ancient weapons so much more expensive than others?plus

Because supply differs enormously inside one tier. Gingerscope was the 20th tier of the Christmas Event 2023 track and cost 98,000 Snow Tokens to earn, so very few exist and it trades near the top of the tier. Logchopper, Icewing and Reaver were far easier to obtain, so they sit at our floor price. Each item is priced against its own live listings.

Can I buy Nik’s Scythe or a leaderboard weapon here?plus

No. Nik’s Scythe is handed out personally by the Murder Mystery 2 creator Nikilis and effectively never changes hands, so we do not stock it. Unique-tier leaderboard weapons such as the Gold and Silver variants are untradeable inside the game, which means nobody can legitimately deliver one to you. Anything advertised as such elsewhere is a scam.
