What is the Emberscythe in MM2?
Emberscythe is an Ancient-rarity knife added in the Halloween Event 2026. According to the MM2 Wiki's Emberscythe page, it's "obtainable using the Cauldron to combine Embersickle and Emberbow during the Halloween Event 2026."
It's shaped like a scythe and follows the purple-and-gold scheme of every Ember item: a royal purple handle, a purple-and-gold pumpkin head at the joint, and a blade that runs from purple roots to a steel-grey tip.
Three things make it different from older Ancients:

Why is the Emberscythe value dropping?
"Fluctuating" is doing a lot of work here. Every Ember item has fallen since launch week:

How do you get the Emberscythe in MM2?
You need two items, then the Cauldron. The wiki's Halloween Event 2026 page says the Cauldron is "located behind the event's NPC in front of the buildings on the left side of the lobby."
- Get an Emberbow (Ancient gun). It's the tier-30 reward of the 30-tier Halloween battle pass. Tier 1 is free, tiers 2–29 cost 600 Candies each, and the Emberbow tier costs 100,000 Candies. So a normal craft loses a little value on both lists. The upside is the Chroma roll. Supreme prices Chroma Emberscythe at 14,000 (range 14,000–16,000), while MM2 Values hasn't priced it yet.
The Chroma odds are not published. The wiki only says "low chance." Here's how to think about it on Supreme's numbers: a Chroma is worth about 12,200 more than a normal Emberscythe. To make up a 125 loss, the hidden chance only needs to be around 1%. If it's higher than that, crafting is a good bet on average. If it's lower, you're paying a small fee for a lottery ticket.
Four practical rules:
- Craft if you want the knife to use or hold. Losing about 3–6% to own a demand-7 Ancient with a Chroma chance is a reasonable deal.
- Don't craft to flip. The base output is worth less than the parts, and values are still falling.
- Craft early if you craft at all. A Chroma Emberscythe will never be cheaper to roll for than it is during the event. After November 16, no new ones can be made.

Two things stand out. First, a Chroma Emberscythe is worth about 7–8x a normal one. That's the whole reason to craft.
