Step 1: Unlock the Static Compactor
To start collecting flour sand efficiently, you must unlock the Static Compactor. This happens after completing the second trial in your Journey progression.
Once unlocked, you can craft the Static Compactor from Fremen components and begin farming.
Step 2: Find the Right Location
Head to Eastern Vermilius Gap, one of the best spots for flour sand. Look near the edge of open sands—avoid deep desert zones where Sandworm threat is high.
Bad Spot Example: far from solid ground with rising worm meter.
Good Spot: no worm aggro, safe and fast to farm.
