Black Ops 7 Beta Content and Features

Available maps and modes
Expect core multiplayer playlists at launch of the test, including Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, Search and Destroy, and Kill Confirmed. The new Overload mode is slated to showcase BO7's objective pacing. The pool of maps and modes may expand during the beta weekend as updates roll out.
Level cap and progression system
A level cap will be active at the start, with a planned increase mid-beta to test broader unlock pacing. Progression grants access to baseline equipment, perks, and streaks so players can evaluate balance without exposing the full launch grind.
Beta rewards and unlockables
Participation unlocks account-wide cosmetics for release. Rewards include an operator, a weapon charm, an animated emblem, and additional items revealed during the event. Most items require simple milestones such as logging in and reaching specific beta levels.
Will Beta Progress Carry Over to Launch?
Beta progression does not transfer. Player level, weapon levels, stats, and unlocks reset at launch to ensure a fair start. Rewards obtained during the testing phase, including operators, weapon charms, animated emblems, and other items are attached to your account once claimed. Cosmetic items earned in the Call of Duty BO7 beta remain tied to your Activision ID for release.
