A Mistcrests farm at timesaver.gg buys the WoW Midnight Season 2 upgrade currency by the crest: Veteran at $0.4491, Champion at $0.5841, Hero at $2.8791 and Myth at $7.0191 each, ordered in blocks of 10 from 10 to 800. Mistcrests are the only way to push an item up its upgrade track, they cost 20 per rank, and every type is capped at 100 per week. We farm them by hand on your character, piloted by default.
What is included in a Mistcrests farm
You choose one of four crest tracks and any amount from 10 to 800 crests, in steps of 10.
- Veteran Mistcrests at $0.4491 per crest.
- Champion Mistcrests at $0.5841 per crest.
- Hero Mistcrests at $2.8791 per crest.
- Myth Mistcrests at $7.0191 per crest.
- Any quantity from 10 to 800, in blocks of 10.
- All gear, currency and progress the farmed content drops along the way.
The five Mistcrest types
Season 2 runs five Mistcrest types — Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero and Myth — matching the five gear upgrade tracks exactly.
There is no Explorer track in WoW Midnight; competitor pages that list one are wrong, as are the ones that write “Hero Mistrests”. The correct term is Hero Mistcrest. This page farms the four crests that actually matter for a Season 2 push: Veteran, Champion, Hero and Myth.
Where each Mistcrest comes from
Crest type is set by the difficulty of the content, so Hero Mistcrests come from the Heroic raid, +4 to +8 keys and Tier 11 Delves, and nothing lower will drop them.
| Mistcrest | Raid | Dungeons / Mythic+ | Delves |
|---|---|---|---|
| Veteran | LFR | Heroic dungeons | Tiers 5-6 |
| Champion | Normal | Mythic 0 and +2-3 keys | Tiers 7-10 |
| Hero | Heroic | +4 to +8 keys | Tier 11 |
| Myth | Mythic | +9 keys and above | — |
That table is why Myth Mistcrests cost $7.0191 each and Veteran cost $0.4491: one comes off Mythic raid bosses and +9 or higher keys, the other off LFR and Heroic dungeons. Related services that generate crests as a by-product include the Mythic 0 dungeons boost, the Mythic+ score boost, Bountiful Delves and the Venomous Abyss Heroic raid.
What Mistcrests upgrade
Each crest only works on its own gear track, and each upgrade rank costs 20 Mistcrests, flat — there is no rising cost per rank.
| Track | Item level range | Crest needed |
|---|---|---|
| Champion | 292 – 308 | Champion Mistcrest |
| Hero | 305 – 321 | Hero Mistcrest |
| Myth | 318 – 334 | Myth Mistcrest |
The tracks in order are Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero and Myth. Myth-track gear finishes at 334, and only Mythic Coiled Altar and Mythic Ula’tek drops reach the season maximum of 344.
Weekly cap and the 3:1 conversion
Each Mistcrest type is capped at 100 per week, and three crests of one type convert upward into one of the next at a 3:1 rate.
The cap is the reason a large order is scheduled across resets rather than delivered in one sitting: 100 Hero Mistcrests is a full week of Hero income. The 3:1 conversion means surplus Champion crests are never wasted — 60 Champion become 20 Hero, which is exactly one upgrade rank. Weekly reset is Tuesday 15:00 UTC for US and OCE and Wednesday 04:00 UTC for EU.
Self-play, piloted or remote
Piloted is the default here, because crest farming is many hours of repeated runs, and only the remote option costs more at 30%.
- Piloted — our booster farms the crests on your character. The default.
- Self-play — you play your own character while we run the content, at the same price.
- Self-play Remote — you keep control of your own client through remote-desktop software, for 30% more.
Everything is farmed by playing the content that drops it. No bots, no exploits.
Requirements
You need a level 90 character able to enter the content that drops the crest track you ordered.
- Level 90 — the WoW Midnight level cap.
- Item level high enough for the source content: Myth Mistcrests require Mythic raid or +9 keys, Hero Mistcrests require Heroic raid, +4-8 keys or Tier 11 Delves.
- Region: US and OCE reset Tuesday 15:00 UTC, EU Wednesday 04:00 UTC.
- PC only.
How long a crest farm takes
The 100 per week cap is the real clock: any order above 100 crests of one type runs across two or more weekly resets, whatever speed you buy.
Express puts your order at the front of the queue for 20% more, and Super Express assigns our fastest team for 40% more, which matters most when you are racing a reset with an order of 100 or fewer. Season 2 opened in the week of 18 August 2026, so all four crest sources are live now.
