Enchant Weapon - Mongoose gives a melee weapon a chance on hit to fire Lightning Speed: +120 Agility and slightly increased attack speed for 15 seconds, at roughly 1 proc per minute. It is the melee weapon enchant of the expansion for rogues, feral druids, enhancement shamans and warriors, and one application on one weapon is $18.89 here with the formula and every reagent included.
The formula drops from Moroes, the second boss of Karazhan, and it is Bind on Pickup. The enchanter who loots Formula: Enchant Weapon - Mongoose is the only person alive who can cast it, so it never reaches the auction house and it cannot be mailed to your own enchanter. Blizzard never published a drop rate for it and community logs disagree wildly, so treat it as a rare drop, not a scheduled one - Karazhan is a 10-man raid on a 7-day lockout, and an unlucky roster chases this formula for a month of resets before it shows up. Karazhan is walk-in on Anniversary realms, so no attunement is involved on either side of this order.
The reagent bill is the other half of the wall. A single cast burns 6 Void Crystals, 10 Large Prismatic Shards, 8 Greater Planar Essences and 40 Arcane Dust, and the caster has to sit at 375 Enchanting holding a Runed Eternium Rod. That is a shelf of disenchanted epics per weapon, which is why Mongoose has always been the most expensive enchant in the game rather than the hardest one to justify.
How the order runs: TBC has no enchanting vellums - those arrive in Wrath - so Mongoose has to be applied face to face through a trade window. On piloted, our enchanter meets your character in Shattrath and the enchant is on the weapon before you log back in; on self-play you show up and hand the weapon over yourself. Enchant application never fails in TBC, so once the trade goes through the proc is permanent on that weapon. The counter runs to 20 because raiders re-enchant weapon swaps, off-hands and alts every phase - each unit is one Mongoose on one weapon.
What this is not. Our TBC enchants package at $28.80 and $57.60 covers the standard pre-raid enchant set across your gear, and Mongoose is deliberately not in it: a Bind on Pickup raid formula cannot be bundled into a flat package, so it is sold here per application. Our Enchanting 1-375 service sells skill points on your own character instead - this page sells the enchant itself, and you need no profession at all to buy it. US realms are the default and EU sits on the region switch above, with Express and Super Express if you want the trade booked ahead of the queue.
