Primal Mooncloth Supply

Primal Mooncloth - The Cooldown Cloth Behind the Healer Set

  • 4-Day Cooldown Cloth
  • 1-20 Per Order

Primal Mooncloth is a cooldown item, not a farm. Any tailor at 350 skill crafts it from 1 Bolt of Imbued Netherweave, 1 Primal Life and 1 Primal Water while standing at a Moonwell - the Cenarion Refuge well in Zangarmarsh, Cenarion Thicket in Terokkar, the one beside the Evergrove flight point in Blade's Edge, or any Moonwell back in Azeroth. From $18.89 per cloth.

The cooldown is the whole product. The craft locks for four days - 96 hours on the tooltip, commonly clocked at about 3 days 20 hours in play - and a Mooncloth-specialized tailor pulls 2 cloth per craft where everyone else gets 1. That is the hard ceiling: one character produces roughly 3-4 Primal Mooncloth a week at absolute best, however much gold or however many primals you throw at it.

What a full Primal Mooncloth Set really costs. The Belt is 4 Primal Mooncloth at 355 skill, the Shoulders are 8 at 365 and the Robe is 14 at 375 - 26 Primal Mooncloth for the three pieces, on top of 42 Primal Life, 26 Primal Water, 12 Primal Mana and 8 Netherweb Spider Silk. Self-crafting those 26 as a Mooncloth tailor is 13 cooldowns, about 52 days, so seven to eight weeks. Without the specialization it is 26 cooldowns and past three months. Buying the cloth collapses that into one trade window.

Spellcloth and Shadowcloth sit behind the same wall. Spellcloth is crafted in Netherstorm for the Spellfire set and Shadowcloth at the Altar of Shadows in Shadowmoon Valley for Frozen Shadoweave, and each runs its own four-day timer. Only the branch you actually picked doubles the output, so a Spellfire tailor cannot cover a healer's Primal Mooncloth needs at any speed. If you have not picked a branch yet, our Tailoring Specialization page unlocks Mooncloth from Nasmara Moonsong, and Tailoring Leveling 1-375 gets the skill bar there first.

Delivery is a trade or a mail, never a subscription. Primal Mooncloth is a tradeable reagent, so the cloth is handed over in person in Shattrath City or mailed to your character - order 1 to 20 at a time and re-book the same block when you need more. The 3-piece set bonus lets 5% of your mana regeneration continue while casting, and the same cloth builds the 20-slot Primal Mooncloth Bag at 8 cloth plus 4 Netherweb Spider Silk. US realms are the default on timesaver.gg and EU sits on the region switch above at the same $18.89 per cloth.

Frequently asked questions

  • Primal Mooncloth is the healer cloth of TBC Anniversary tailoring. It builds the 3-piece Primal Mooncloth Set - Belt at 4 cloth, Shoulders at 8, Robe at 14 - whose set bonus keeps 5% of your mana regeneration running while you cast. The same cloth also makes the 20-slot Primal Mooncloth Bag from 8 cloth and 4 Netherweb Spider Silk.

  • The Primal Mooncloth craft locks for four days on Anniversary realms - 96 hours on the tooltip, and commonly clocked at roughly 3 days 20 hours in play. A Mooncloth-specialized tailor pulls 2 cloth from each craft and everyone else pulls 1, so a single character tops out near 3-4 Primal Mooncloth per week no matter how many primals are stockpiled.

  • 26 Primal Mooncloth for all three pieces: 4 for the Primal Mooncloth Belt at 355 skill, 8 for the Shoulders at 365 and 14 for the Robe at 375. The set also eats 42 Primal Life, 26 Primal Water, 12 Primal Mana and 8 Netherweb Spider Silk. At 2 cloth per four-day cooldown that is 13 crafts, about 52 days of self-crafting before you wear a single piece.

  • Any tailor at 350 skill can craft Primal Mooncloth at a Moonwell from 1 Bolt of Imbued Netherweave, 1 Primal Life and 1 Primal Water. The Mooncloth specialization is what doubles the craft to 2 cloth and what lets you make and wear the Primal Mooncloth Belt, Shoulders and Robe - all three require Mooncloth Tailoring, so a Spellfire or Shadoweave tailor cannot equip them.

  • No. Spellcloth, Shadowcloth and Primal Mooncloth each run their own four-day timer, so one tailor can make one of each every four days. The catch is that only your chosen branch yields 2 per craft - a Spellfire tailor still gets just 1 Primal Mooncloth per cooldown, which is why a healer set built off somebody else's specialization drags on for months.

  • Primal Mooncloth is a tradeable reagent, so no carry run is involved. The cloth is handed to your character by in-game trade, usually in Shattrath City, or mailed if you would rather not meet up. Orders run from 1 to 20 cloth at $18.89 each on timesaver.gg, and bigger jobs are simply re-booked as repeat blocks at the same per-cloth rate.

  • Yes. Every US TBC Anniversary realm is covered, PvE and PvP, and US is the default region on this page at $18.89 per cloth. Trade handovers are scheduled around your own evenings in ET or PT, support answers through US business hours, and EU realms are priced identically on the region switch above.

  • If you intend to wear the Primal Mooncloth Set you need Mooncloth Tailoring anyway, because all three pieces require it. Our Tailoring Specialization service unlocks it from Nasmara Moonsong in Shattrath at level 60 and 350 skill, and Tailoring Leveling 1-375 gets the bar to 350 first. Buying cloth on top of that is what removes the 13 four-day cooldowns.
