Clash Royale Arenas in Order: All 32 + Trophy Requirements (October 2026)

Updated October 18, 2026 · applies to Season 88 (Shocktober) and the current 32-arena Trophy Road.

Quick answer: Clash Royale has 32 arenas on the permanent Trophy Road, running from Goblin Stadium (Arena 1, 0 trophies) to Spirit Square (Arena 32, 13,500 trophies), and the road ends at 14,000 trophies. Past that you enter the Seasonal Trophy Road: Seasonal Arena I (a 500-trophy climb with rewards) and Seasonal Arena II, where the 8 cards you won with most in Arena I are banned and every card is boosted to at least Level 15. Seasonal trophies reset every season; your Trophy Road progress never does. In October 2026, Ranked unlocks at 13,500 trophies, which is exactly the Spirit Square threshold. In November it rises to 14,000.

Most "all arenas" lists online stop somewhere between 7,500 and 12,000 trophies because they were written before the 2026 extensions. This one covers the live ladder as of October 2026: every arena's trophy range, the King Tower Level gate that can block you even when you have the trophies, what each arena unlocks, and the part almost nobody explains properly — what actually happens once you hit 14,000.

Key takeaways

  • 32 arenas, 0 to 14,000 trophies. Arenas 29–32 (Magic Academy, Ultimate Clash Pit, Little Prince's Tavern, Spirit Square) were added in the February 2026 update at 12,000 / 12,500 / 13,000 / 13,500.
  • Trophy Gates protect you. Once you reach an arena, losses can't drop your trophies below that arena's threshold (Supercell Support: Trophy Road).
  • Level gates can stop you. You can have the trophies and still be locked out of the next arena if your King Tower Level is too low.
  • New cards stop at Arena 18. Silent Sanctuary (6,500) is the last arena that unlocks new cards. Everything above it is rewards and prestige.
  • After 14,000 you move to the Seasonal Trophy Road. Two arenas, 500 trophies each, reset every season, with a personalised 8-card ban in Arena II.
  • Ranked is 13,500 trophies in October 2026 and 14,000 in November (official Update to Ranked Trophy Requirements). Don't confuse the 14,000 Trophy Road cap with the Ranked requirement. They only line up in November.

How many arenas are in Clash Royale?

There are 32 arenas on the Trophy Road, plus the Training Camp tutorial and the two Seasonal Arenas above 14,000. Arena 1 starts at 0 trophies and each step after that is 300–500 trophies wide. From Arena 15 (Miner's Mine, 5,000) onward, every arena is exactly 500 trophies.

The road was last extended in February 2026, when four arenas were added at 12,000, 12,500, 13,000 and 13,500 to take the cap to 14,000 (per the Clash Royale Wiki arena history). If a guide you're reading says the Trophy Road ends at 7,500, 9,000 or 12,000, it's describing an older version of the game.

What are all the Clash Royale arenas in order? (October 2026)

Trophy ranges and King Tower Level gates are from the Clash Royale Wiki. Arena names at the top end have changed during the 2026 extensions, and your in-game Trophy Road is the final word for your account.

The card column lists highlights, not every card. Per the wiki, each arena from 4 to 15 unlocks six to ten cards. Champions arrive at Arena 16, and the last new cards unlock at Arena 18.

What does each arena unlock?

The arena you're in decides more than your card pool. These are the unlocks that change how you build decks:

  • Arena 1 (Goblin Stadium): the Shop, TV Royale and Merge Tactics, which is a mode inside Clash Royale and not a separate game.
  • Arena 3 (Barbarian Bowl): the Evolution slot, Clan Wars and Draft challenges. Global Tournaments also open from Arena 3.
  • Arena 5 (Builder's Workshop): Heroes and the shared Hero/Champion slot. See our Clash Royale Heroes explained guide.
  • Arena 6 (P.E.K.K.A's Playhouse): Epic cards.
  • Arena 8 (Frozen Peak): a second Tower Troop option on top of the Tower Princess. Our best Tower Troop guide covers which to pick.
  • Arena 10 (Hog Mountain): the Wild slot, which takes an Evolution, a Hero or a Champion. That gives you the full three special slots (1 Evo, 1 Hero/Champion, 1 Wild).
  • Arena 11 (Electro Valley): Legendary cards.
  • Arena 16 (Executioner's Kitchen): Champion cards. The Hero/Champion slot has been open since Arena 5. Arena 16 is where the Champion cards become available.
  • Arena 28 (Summit of Heroes): the highest Magic Lucky Chest level (16).
  • Arena 32 (Spirit Square): the last Trophy Road arena, and in October 2026 the threshold that unlocks Ranked.

Can you drop down an arena in Clash Royale?

No. Supercell's own wording: whenever you reach a new arena, "you will pass through its Trophy Gate. This saves your Trophy progress and keeps you from falling back to the previous Arena after losing battles" (Supercell Support: Trophy Road).

The gate also acts as a trophy floor. Once you've reached Executioner's Kitchen at 5,500, a losing streak can take away trophies you've earned above 5,500, but your count won't go below 5,500.

There is a second gate that catches people out. The same support page says level gates "can prevent you from entering a new Arena if you haven't reached the minimum King Tower Level yet." If you're stuck at the top of an arena with enough trophies and the next one won't open, that's almost always the reason. Upgrading cards raises your King Tower Level, so the fix is upgrading, not grinding more games.

Trophy gains and losses scale with the trophy gap between you and your opponent. Beating a higher-trophy player pays more. Matchmaking is based on trophies, not card levels, which is why an under-levelled deck feels brutal in the 9,000+ range.

What is the best deck for each arena?

Arena-specific deck guides are the fastest way to get through a wall. Here are our current ones, each built for the card pool you actually have at that point:

Above Arena 18 the card pool stops changing, so the general meta applies. For that, use our best Clash Royale decks for October 2026, rebuilt on the October 6 balance patch. On a budget, the best free-to-play deck is built around Commons and Rares you'll have maxed first.

What happens after 14,000 trophies in Clash Royale?

Finishing the Trophy Road unlocks the Seasonal Trophy Road. Supercell's support article puts it plainly: it "unlocks once you reach 14,000 Trophies and complete the regular Trophy Road" (Supercell Support: Seasonal Trophy Road). The system came back in reworked form in the June Update 2026 and is split into two arenas.

Seasonal Arena I

  • You start at 0 Seasonal Trophies (shown in green) and climb to 500.
  • Use any deck you like. Matchmaking works like the regular Trophy Road.
  • Rewards unlock at milestones along the way. The wiki's tally includes Lucky Chests, 300 Common cards, 60 Rares and 6 Epics.
  • Reaching 500 unlocks Seasonal Arena II.

Seasonal Arena II: the 8-card ban

This is the twist. In the June 2026 patch notes, Supercell wrote: "In this Arena, the top 8 cards you've won with the most in Seasonal Arena I are banned, so try out new cards, win conditions, and strategies to reach the top and become a true master of the Arena."

What that means in practice:

  • The ban is personal. It's your 8 most-winning cards from Arena I, not a global list.
  • There's no going back. Once you enter Arena II you can't return to Arena I until the season resets.
  • Every card is boosted to at least Level 15. Support: "Any card below Level 15 is temporarily boosted up to Level 15!" An under-levelled backup deck is still competitive here.
  • Arena II is the second 500-trophy stretch. The wiki tracks the full Seasonal Road as 14,000–15,000, with a 100,000 Gold reward near the top of Arena II and the 2026 Seasonal Badge at the end. (A player in the same r/ClashRoyale thread put it simply: "You'll get 100k gold at the 2nd arena 400 throphy mark.")
  • After the end, rewards stop and gains shrink. You can keep playing, but trophy gains per win drop from 30 to 6 and there are no further rewards.

When does the Seasonal Trophy Road reset?

At the end of every season. Support lists what happens: your Seasonal Trophy count resets, unclaimed rewards are delivered automatically, the card ban is lifted and the road starts over. Your Trophy Road progress stays exactly where it was. You never lose your 14,000 or your arena.

Season 88 (Shocktober) events run until November 2, 2026, when the next season reset is due on the usual first-Monday schedule. If you're partway through Seasonal Arena II, finish before then.

How do you beat Seasonal Arena II?

The ban only takes the cards with the most wins. If you play Arena I with one main deck, all 8 of its cards get banned and you start Arena II with nothing familiar. A few ways to plan around that, based on how the rule is written:

  • Pick your Arena II deck before you finish Arena I. Decide which win condition you want to keep, then avoid winning many Arena I games with it.
  • Use the Level 15 boost. A card you never upgraded plays at Level 15 here. This is the place to try that Golem, X-Bow or Lava Hound shell you could never afford to level. Lava Hound and X-Bow were both buffed in the October 6 patch.
  • Keep a second cycle deck in mind. A cheap cycle deck built from cards you didn't win with in Arena I is a sensible Arena II pick. It relies less on a single expensive tank, so losing your main win condition to the ban hurts it less.
  • Don't worry about losses. Seasonal Trophies have no effect on your Trophy Road count or your Ranked placement. Supercell describes the top of the road as "the perfect place to step out of your comfort zone and experiment."

Should you push Ranked or Seasonal Arenas at 14,000?

This came up in an r/ClashRoyale thread posted on October 18, 2026, by a player who had just reached 14,000. The replies split the way you'd expect. One said "Ranked has like negligible rewards for the effort. Seasonal arenas much better." Another argued the opposite: "I'd go ranked, makes you an infinitely better player in the long run."

Our take: do the Seasonal Road first, every season, then switch to Ranked.

  • Seasonal Arena I + II is a short, capped climb: about 1,000 Seasonal Trophies at up to 30 per win (losses cost trophies too, so expect well over 34 games). On the wiki's reward list it pays Gold, Common/Rare/Epic cards, a Legendary, a Champion card and several Level 16 Magic Lucky Chests, and all of it resets so you can earn it again every season. For a player who's already at 14,000, it's the most concrete reward track on offer.
  • Ranked is the long-term skill ladder. It runs on steps, not trophies, across seven leagues from Master I to Ultimate Champion. Read how to unlock Ranked for the exact rules.
  • Watch the November change. The Ranked requirement is 13,500 in September and October 2026 and 14,000 in November. If you're between 13,500 and 14,000, Ranked is open to you this month but won't be next month unless you finish the Trophy Road. Reaching Champion league in Ranked during the previous season also grants entry without the trophy check.

How long does it take to reach 14,000 trophies?

There's no fixed answer, but the structure tells you where the time goes. Arenas 1–15 fly by because new cards keep arriving. The slow part is Arenas 19–32: 14 arenas of 500 trophies each, with no new cards and King Tower Level gates rising from 11 to 13. Because matchmaking ignores card levels, that stretch rewards upgrades as much as skill. According to the wiki's July 2026 tally, the full 0–14,000 road pays out about 603,900 Gold plus thousands of cards and Wild Cards. Claim those rewards as you go, because they're what pay for the upgrades that get you past each level gate.

FAQ

How many arenas are there in Clash Royale? There are 32 arenas on the Trophy Road, from Goblin Stadium (0 trophies) to Spirit Square (13,500), plus two Seasonal Arenas above 14,000 that reset every season. Arenas 29–32 were added in February 2026.

What is the last arena in Clash Royale? Spirit Square (Arena 32) is the last permanent arena, at 13,500–14,000 trophies. Above it sit Seasonal Arena I and Seasonal Arena II, which aren't permanent: their trophies reset every season.

What happens when you reach 14,000 trophies in Clash Royale? You complete the Trophy Road and unlock the Seasonal Trophy Road. Seasonal Arena I is a 500-trophy climb with rewards. Seasonal Arena II bans the 8 cards you won with most in Arena I and boosts all your cards to at least Level 15. Your 14,000 Trophy Road count is never reset.

Do you lose trophies at the end of the season in Clash Royale? Not on the Trophy Road. Supercell's support page says your Trophy Road progress remains unchanged at season end. Only your Seasonal Trophies (above 14,000) reset, and the Seasonal Arena II card ban is lifted at the same time.

Why can't I get into the next arena even though I have enough trophies? You've hit a level gate. Each arena requires a minimum King Tower Level, and Supercell's support page confirms level gates can block a new arena until you reach it. Upgrade cards to raise your King Tower Level.

What arena do you unlock Ranked in Clash Royale? In October 2026, Ranked unlocks at 13,500 trophies, the Spirit Square (Arena 32) threshold. In November 2026 the requirement rises to 14,000. Reaching Champion league in Ranked the previous season also gives you entry.
