The Clash Royale Daily Puzzle screen with the King behind a table and the first puzzle, Bone Blockade, marked Easy

Updated November 2, 2026 · Season 89 (King vs. King). Puzzle 1 of 7 is live. Rules come from Supercell's King vs. King release notes. Solutions come from player solves posted to r/ClashRoyale today, checked against in-game screenshots. We add each new puzzle here, on this same page, as it goes live.

Quick answer: Clash Royale Daily Puzzles run November 2-8, 2026, one new scenario per day, with no rewards. To solve the first puzzle, Bone Blockade (Easy, Par 3), place Skeletons on the left bridge to hold the Knight, then put Tesla low in the centre so the Hog Rider walks into range of both Princess Towers. Once the Hog is dead, your towers and Tesla finish the Knight.

Bone Blockade is rated Easy and has Par 3, and players are still reporting 6, 7, 15 and even 45 attempts. The fix is one placement, and the puzzle's name gives it away.

This guide covers how Daily Puzzles work, the exact Bone Blockade solution, three other routes that also win, why most failed attempts look the same, and what to do with the next six puzzles.

What are Daily Puzzles in Clash Royale?

Daily Puzzles are a new Season 89 mode that gives you a fixed scenario and a tiny hand of cards. Supercell's notes say a new puzzle appears each day from November 2 to 8, with a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 4 cards in your deck.

The rules that matter:

  • The scenario never changes. Supercell says it's the "same cards, same places, same times" on every attempt.
  • Each of your cards can be played once. There's no cycling back to Tesla after it falls.
  • You're scored on attempts. Supercell's own words: "These puzzles are not about rewards, but about skill and bragging rights for the one who solves each puzzle in the fewest amount of attempts."
  • The name is a hint. The notes end the section with: "P.S. You may want to pay attention to the puzzle names…"

That last line is the most useful sentence in the release notes. Bone Blockade points to a bone troop blocking something, which is exactly what works.

The screen itself is labelled Daily Puzzle. It shows the puzzle name, a difficulty, an arena preview and your cards. Seven page dots sit at the bottom, one for each puzzle in this first set.

How do you solve Bone Blockade?

The Bone Blockade puzzle setup in Clash Royale: enemy Knight and Hog Rider at the left bridge, with Tesla and Skeletons as your two cards

The setup: an enemy Level 11 Knight and Level 11 Hog Rider come in at your left bridge. You hold two cards, Tesla (4 Elixir) and Skeletons (1 Elixir). The health bars show 1 on each of your Princess Towers, against 5,000 on both enemy Princess Towers, so treat any hit on a Princess Tower as fatal.

The problem: the two enemies behave differently. Hog Rider only targets buildings and ignores your Skeletons, so he runs straight at the nearest building. Knight is slower and fights whatever is closest. One Princess Tower can't handle both.

The solution, step by step:

  • Drop Skeletons on the left bridge as the Knight reaches it. All three stand in his path, and he stops to fight them. This is the "blockade", and it's the reading most solvers take from the name.
  • Let the Hog Rider run past. He ignores the Skeletons. That's what you want, because he's now separated from the Knight.
  • Place Tesla in the centre column, low on your side. Aim for roughly level with your Princess Towers, between them, not up at the river. Hog Rider turns toward the Tesla and walks into the middle.
  • Let both Princess Towers and Tesla shoot the Hog. In the centre, all three reach him at once, so he goes down quickly.
  • Finish the Knight. He comes through once the Skeletons fall, and your towers and the remaining Tesla take him down.

Solvers on r/ClashRoyale find it easier to play the Skeletons first and the Tesla second. The Skeletons cause what one called a traffic jam, which buys a little more time to place Tesla. Another solver summed up the whole idea: block the Knight at the bridge and place the Tesla in the middle, so both towers and the Tesla all attack the Hog.

What other solutions beat Bone Blockade?

Several routes work, which is why the threads argue about it. Three more that players posted today:

  • No blockade, both cards in the middle. Place Tesla in the centre with the Skeletons near it. Tesla pulls the Hog in, the Skeletons hit him from the side, and Tesla finishes the Knight once the Hog is dead. One player says this worked for them every time.
  • Timed Skeleton drop. Put Tesla deep, then drop the Skeletons on the Hog just before he reaches it. It takes more precise timing, and one player needed four attempts to land it.
  • Low Tesla, low Skeletons. Both cards near your towers, pulling Knight and Hog into tower range, so a surviving Skeleton helps take out the Hog.

One player also posted clips of a standard solve, a solve where all three Skeletons survive, and a solve that only kills the Hog Rider. Treat those as stretch goals. For your first clear, we'd start with the bridge block.

The bridge block is our pick because it matches the name, though Supercell hasn't published an official solution. As one solver pointed out, stopping a tank at the bridge so you can deal with what's behind it is a skill you'll use in normal battles.

Why do most Bone Blockade attempts fail?

A failed Bone Blockade attempt in Clash Royale: Tesla placed up at the river, the Knight free in the left lane and the left Princess Tower destroyed

The screenshot above comes from a player on 45 attempts, and it shows the classic mistake. Tesla is up at the river, so the Hog stops there, far from your towers. One Skeleton is left, the Knight is deep in the left lane, and the left Princess Tower has fallen. That's a Defeat, even though the King Tower sits at 5,000.

Check these if you're stuck:

  • Tesla too high. At the river, the Hog fights Tesla alone, and your towers don't help.
  • Tesla too far left. Only one Princess Tower reaches the Hog. You need both, so stay near the centre.
  • Skeletons aimed at the Hog at the bridge. He ignores them and keeps running. The block only works on the Knight.
  • Placing too late. Since the scenario is identical each time, watch one attempt without panicking, note where the Knight is when you'd want him stopped, and repeat that exact timing.

Players also point out that the exact Tesla spot and the order of your two cards both matter a little. If a line almost works, shift Tesla by a tile before you change the plan.

How do you know you've won?

The Victory screen after solving Bone Blockade in Clash Royale, with both Princess Towers standing and a single Skeleton left at the bridge

You don't need to attack. On this Victory screen, both enemy Princess Towers still show 5,000. Your job in Bone Blockade is to clear the attackers with your towers intact, and you get a Victory banner with your attempt count.

Your result then sits on the puzzle card as Completed in next to Par. A Try Again button also stays on the Victory screen. Supercell hasn't said whether replaying changes your Completed in number, so treat your first clear as your score.

Do you get rewards for Daily Puzzles?

No. Supercell says so directly in the notes, and players who cleared Bone Blockade today report that nothing dropped, not even Gold.

So there's no reason to grind one puzzle for hours. Your payoff is the comparison with friends and creators, plus a free lesson in a real matchup. If you want rewards this season, the King vs. King season guide covers the Royal Market and Crown Tokens, which open from Week 2.

What does Par mean in Daily Puzzles?

Par is the target number of attempts, the same idea as golf. Bone Blockade has Par 3, so clearing it on your third try is on target. Player results so far on the same puzzle include 2, 6, 7 and 15 attempts, plus one counter at 45 before a clear.

Two more details from the screen:

  • Attempts counts up until you clear the puzzle. We've seen no cap so far, with one player at 45.
  • Completed in replaces Attempts once you win, and it sits directly above Par so you can see how you did.

Don't read Par as a promise that it's easy. Plenty of players with high trophies said they lost attempts here, including one close to 13,000 trophies, so a miss doesn't say much about your skill.

How do you solve any Daily Puzzle?

Puzzle 2 onward will use different cards, but the format stays the same. This routine should carry over:

  • Read the name first. Supercell told us it matters, and Bone Blockade proved it.
  • Spend your first attempt watching. Play nothing important. Since the enemy repeats exactly, one attempt shows you the whole script.
  • Sort the enemies by target. Building-only troops ignore your units, while ground troops can be stalled. That split usually tells you which card goes where.
  • Put your towers to work. Your towers do most of the damage in a small hand, so pull attackers to where both can shoot.
  • Change one thing per attempt. Fixed scenarios reward small adjustments. Move a card one tile or play it half a second earlier, then compare.

When does the next Daily Puzzle come out?

One new puzzle per day through November 8. The first one appeared on r/ClashRoyale around 09:00 UTC on November 2, so expect later puzzles around the same window, though Supercell hasn't published a daily reset time.

The screen's timer read 6d 23h that morning, which runs to early November 9 UTC, right as Week 2 begins. That single timer and the seven page dots suggest earlier puzzles stay available until then, but it's not confirmed yet, so play each one on its day if you're tracking your score.

World Finals land during the same week, on November 6-8, and Supercell will reveal its new competitive feature there. If you want to take what you learn into a real deck, the Hog Earthquake list in our best Clash Royale decks for November runs Evo Tesla with Skeletons, and the 2.6 Hog Cycle guide shows how Hog Rider plays from the attacking side.
