Is there an official GTA 6 PS5 bundle?
No. The PlayStation GTA VI page lists the game for PS5 and PS5 Pro on November 19, with no console package. Sony's GTA-themed hardware so far is two limited DualSense controllers at $84.99.
Three things get mistaken for a bundle:
- Rockstar's Vice City Collection. The $399.99 collector's box has no console.
- The Midnight Black PS5. It launches November 19 for ¥55,000, but Gematsu's report confirms it's a Japan-only, Japanese-language model. It doesn't include GTA 6.
- Retailer combos. These are real products, but they're store-built pairs. Even IGN says of the Best Buy promo: "Technically, it's not an official GTA 6 console bundle."

EE's offer started lower. TechRadar put the Slim combo at £589.99 in June, and GTA6 Life's bundle tracker logged both August rises plus the Harvey Norman prices. The Otto figures come from Netzwelt.
Don't assume a bundle saves money. PC Games calculated that Otto's €1,599 PS5 Pro combo costs about €620 more than the two items at regular price. Add up the parts before you pay.
Don't import one either. Every boxed GTA 6 is a download code with no disc, and PS5 codes are region-restricted. A cheap overseas bundle can leave you with a code that won't suit your account region.
What's the best GTA 6 console deal in the US?
For most US buyers, it's Best Buy's $50 offer. My Best Buy members get a $50 promotional certificate when they buy an eligible PS5 or Xbox and pre-order GTA 6. Membership has a free tier, and the offer was last reported live on October 20, so confirm it at checkout. The fine print matters:
- You buy the console and game as separate items. IGN's summary of the terms is blunt: "Console and game bundles do not qualify."
- The certificate arrives around November 25, after launch, and expires 45 days after it's issued.
- It's limited to one per member.
- Best Buy's GTA 6 listing is the code-in-box Standard Edition. There's no boxed Ultimate, and boxed copies skip the one-month GTA+ offer tied to digital pre-orders.

The cheapest PS5 route ends soon. IGN reports that PlayStation Direct takes $40 off a Certified Refurbished PS5 plus a Recertified DualSense bought together, until November 5. Can you still buy a PS5 Pro before GTA 6?

- Supply: Playfront reported a memo in which Sony told distribution partners that "temporary market supply constraints and high demand" would last "through early 2027 at the earliest." That's a report, not a public Sony statement. CNET says Sony didn't immediately respond to its request for more information.
- Last US restock: Best Buy had one on October 23, according to The Shortcut. As of its October 27 update, the Pro was sold out again at list price.
- Who may be next: The Shortcut tips Walmart, which hasn't stocked it since early September. It also cites retail sources saying GameStop may hold stock for GTA 6 and Black Friday. Treat both as predictions.
- Resale in that same update: GameStop refurbished or pre-owned $1,399, Amazon reseller $1,599, Best Buy third-party $1,549, Walmart open-box $1,644.
- UK: Trusted Reviews found it at Argos for the £789.99 list price on October 29.
Stores still surprise people. One of r/GTA6's biggest posts this weekend, with more than 1,400 upvotes, came from a player whose girlfriend found a PS5 Pro at a Target after they'd complained it was out of stock. Mashable also suggests asking in person, since store allocations don't always show online. The same piece warned that an $800 Mercari listing, below list price for a sold-out console, was almost certainly a scam.
Is $1,399 worth paying? No. That's $749 more than a new disc PS5 for the same game and content. Forbes' Paul Tassi put it plainly: "none of this is worth it for an $80 game." If you're set on a Pro, pay list price or wait. The game doesn't disappear on November 20.
Could Sony still announce a GTA 6 bundle?
Yes, but no source confirms one, so treat this as timing analysis. Sony has done it before, and one precedent is directly relevant.
- The GTA precedent: Sony announced its PS4 GTA V bundle on November 14, 2014 for $399.99. It went on sale for Black Friday, 14 days later and 10 days after GTA V reached PS4.
- The latest bundle: PlayStation.Blog revealed the Marvel's Wolverine PS5 bundle on August 11 for a September 15 launch, 35 days ahead, with pre-orders opening August 19.
- The shortest gap: by GTA6 Life's count, Sony's fastest turnaround was 9 days, for EA Sports FC 24.
On those numbers, November 10 is the last date that fits Sony's fastest launch-day gap. November 13 is the date that would repeat the 14-day notice ahead of Black Friday on November 27. The code-in-box format doesn't rule a bundle out either, because the Wolverine bundle already ships with a game code.
Our read: don't wait for it. With PS5 Pro supply this tight, a Pro bundle looks especially unlikely, and any limited bundle would probably be hard to get. If you need a console for launch week, buy one now and keep your receipt. If you already own a PS5 or Series X/S, you don't need a bundle at all: pre-order the game on its own, and the only hardware decision left is whether your storage has room for it.
