How to Reach Mythical Glory in Mobile Legends (Season 42, 2026)

Mythical Glory is the fourth of Mobile Legends' four Mythic tiers, and you reach it by accumulating 50 Mythic points after promoting out of Legend I — not by clearing "divisions." From Mythic (0 points) you cross Mythical Honor at 25 points, Mythical Glory at 50, and Mythical Immortal at 100+. There are no roman numerals up here: it is one continuous point counter, and every win adds points while every loss removes them.

That matters more than usual right now. Season 42 "Starward Decade" started on 16 September 2026, and the season rollover reset every high-rank account back down the ladder — so the entire Mythic playerbase is re-climbing from scratch this week. If you were Mythical Glory or Mythical Immortal last season, you are starting the new grind from Legend V, along with everyone else. This guide is written for that reset window and is valid for Patch 2.1.95a / Season 42.

Quick answer: Promote through Warrior → Elite → Master → Grandmaster → Epic → Legend (each with fixed star counts), reach Mythic at Legend I, then bank Mythic points: 25 = Mythical Honor, 50 = Mythical Glory, 100+ = Mythical Immortal. Wins add points, losses subtract them, and above Mythic there are no divisions — just the counter.

What Mythical Glory actually is

Mobile Legends' ranked ladder has 29 nodes across ten named tiers. The first six tiers use roman-numeral divisions; the top four — Mythic, Mythical Honor, Mythical Glory and Mythical Immortal — do not. This is the single most common thing players get wrong, so it is worth being exact:

#TierDivisionsHow you advance
1WarriorIII → II → IFill 3 stars per division
2EliteIII → II → IFill stars per division
3MasterIV → III → II → IMaster has four divisions
4GrandmasterV → IV → III → II → IGrandmaster has five
5EpicV → IV → III → II → IStars per division
6LegendV → IV → III → II → ILast division-based tier
7MythicPoints start at 0
8Mythical Honor~25 points
9Mythical Glory~50 points
10Mythical Immortal~100+ points, leaderboard tier

Two things to burn in before you climb. First, the divisions are not uniform — Master has four divisions and Grandmaster has five, while Warrior and Elite have three. Anyone who tells you "every rank has five divisions" has never left Epic. Second, there is no "Mythic V" and no "Mythical Glory III." Those are not real ranks. Once you hit Mythic you are on a points counter, and Mythical Glory is simply the 50-point threshold on it.

The 25 / 50 / 100 point figures are community-documented and agreed across every independent rank explainer, but Moonton does not publish a first-party threshold table — so treat them as the working numbers and glance at your in-game rank screen for the live figure. (An older, pre-rework "Mythic points" system used much larger numbers like 600+; if you see those in a dated guide, it is out of date.)

Where you start this season after the reset

Season 42 began on 16 September 2026, and season rollovers reset ranked points, Mythic stars and season rewards the instant the new season starts, after a short maintenance window. The reset is a tier table, not a per-account calculation — everyone inside a band lands in the same place, so a player who finished at 50 Mythic stars and one who finished at 150 both drop to the same rank.

Community-compiled reset charts — cross-checked across several current trackers — put the landing spots roughly like this for Season 42:

  • Mythical Glory and Mythical Immortal → Legend V. Yes, both. Finishing at the very top and finishing at the Glory threshold drop you to the same Legend V starting line.
  • Mythic → around Epic I–II.
  • Legend → around Epic III–IV.

The exact chart is community-compiled, not a first-party table, and Moonton can adjust it between seasons — so confirm your own drop on the in-game season notice. We break the rollover mechanics down in more detail in our Mobile Legends rank reset guide, and the wider Season 42 changes are covered in Season 42 "Starward Decade": everything new.

The practical read: the fastest Mythical Glory pushes happen in the first two to three weeks of a season, before the ladder re-sorts. Matchmaking is at its softest right after a reset because former Mythical Immortals, hard-stuck Epics and returning players are all mixed together in the low-Legend pool. If you want Glory with the least resistance, the window is now.

How the points math works above Mythic

Once you promote out of Legend I into Mythic, the star system stops and the point system begins. The mechanics are consistent across current explainers:

  • A win adds points; a loss subtracts them. Point gains are not flat — they scale with your performance, your opponents' MMR and your current bracket, so a dominant win against a strong lobby is worth more than a scrappy one.
  • You need a positive win rate to climb, full stop. Below Mythic you can grind a coin-flip win rate upward slowly on stars; above Mythic, a 50% win rate stalls you in place because losses cost points directly.
  • Mythical Immortal is a leaderboard tier, not just a threshold. Crossing 100 points puts you into the ranked leaderboard, and the gap from Mythical Glory to a leaderboard position is, by a wide margin, the hardest stretch of the entire ladder.

That last cliff is worth internalising before you set a target. Reaching Mythical Glory (50 points) is a realistic season goal for a committed solo player. Reaching high Mythical Immortal is a different sport — it rewards a high win rate over a large sample, not just showing up.

A realistic Season 42 climb plan

You do not reach Mythical Glory by playing more games. You reach it by keeping your win rate above water while the ladder is soft. Here is the plan that survives contact with solo queue.

1. Build a two-to-three hero pool, not a highlight reel. The climb rewards consistency. Pick heroes you can win with when the draft is bad and your team is worse — durable, low-execution-ceiling picks in the current meta. A tier list tells you what is strong this patch; our Season 42 tier list shows who actually moved after the eight anniversary revamps, and where the trackers disagree. Learn who to first-pick and who to counter-pick, not who looks good in a montage.

2. Fill a role your team is missing, every game. Solo-queue losses are overwhelmingly draft losses — three assassins, no tank, no one on Roam. Being willing to take Tank or Roam when the lobby refuses to is the highest-win-rate habit in low-Legend and Mythic. It is unglamorous and it is why smurfs climb fast.

3. Play the map, not the kill. Above Legend, objectives decide games: the Turtle/Lord in the current map, tower gold, and vision. Season 42's Sanctum Island map changes added Revealing Wisps that expose enemy positions, turrets that pay out more gold, and a healing turtle — so vision and objective timing matter even more this season. Rotating for an objective you can actually take beats chasing a kill across the river.

4. Cap your losses, not your hours. The one discipline that separates Glory from hard-stuck Epic: stop after two losses in a row. Point systems punish tilt directly — a two-game losing streak often becomes a five-game one because you are playing angry, and every loss now costs you points instead of just a star. Queue again tomorrow with a positive win rate intact.

5. Track win rate, not rank. Your rank is a lagging indicator; your recent win rate is the real one. If your last 20 games are above 55%, you will reach Glory — keep doing exactly that. If they are below 50%, adding games makes it worse, not better. Change the hero, the role, or the schedule before you change the volume.

Common ways people stall short of Glory

  • Chasing the meta instead of mastering a pool. Swapping to the new S-tier hero every patch means you are always playing something you are mediocre at. Depth beats breadth on the climb.
  • Playing tilted. The point system is unforgiving of streaks. The single biggest hidden rank-killer is the fourth and fifth game of a bad night.
  • Solo-queuing into coordinated trios. If you are consistently matched solo against premade trios, a two- or three-stack of your own trusted players is a genuine win-rate lever, not just more fun.
  • Ignoring the reset window. Waiting a month into the season to start grinding means climbing through a re-sorted, sweatier ladder. Early season is easy season.

Should you buy an account or a boost instead?

Some players skip the grind by starting on a ranked-ready account, or having a target rank pushed for them. If that is you, a couple of honest notes. We describe what we deliver and how we handle it — our own guarantee and process — and nothing about Moonton's rules, because Moonton's Terms of Service are not publicly quotable, so no one can credibly promise you it is "safe" or "allowed." Anyone claiming a ban warranty is guessing. Decide with that in mind.

FAQ

How many points do you need for Mythical Glory in Mobile Legends? Around 50 Mythic points. From Mythic (0 points) you cross Mythical Honor at 25 and Mythical Glory at 50; Mythical Immortal sits at 100+. These are community-documented thresholds that every current rank explainer agrees on, but Moonton doesn't publish an official table, so confirm the live figure on your in-game rank screen.

Is Mythical Glory the highest rank in MLBB? No. The ladder's four Mythic tiers, in order, are Mythic, Mythical Honor, Mythical Glory and Mythical Immortal. Mythical Immortal is the top, and it's a leaderboard tier — the jump from Glory to a leaderboard spot is the hardest stretch of the entire ladder.

Where did I land after the Season 42 reset? Season 42 started on 16 September 2026 and the rollover pushed everyone down. Community-compiled reset charts put both Mythical Glory and Mythical Immortal at Legend V, Mythic at roughly Epic I–II, and Legend at roughly Epic III–IV. The reset is a tier table, not a per-account calculation, so everyone in a band lands in the same place — check the in-game season notice for your exact drop.

Are there really no divisions in the Mythic tiers? Correct. There is no "Mythic V" or "Mythical Glory III." The first six tiers (Warrior through Legend) use roman-numeral divisions with fixed star counts; the four Mythic tiers are a single continuous points counter. Writing "Mythic V" is a dead giveaway that a guide is out of date or wrong.

What's the fastest way to reach Mythical Glory this season? Climb in the first two to three weeks after the reset, when matchmaking is softest. Keep a two-to-three hero pool, fill the role your team lacks (usually Tank or Roam), play objectives over kills, and stop after two losses in a row so a bad streak doesn't drain your points. A win rate above 55% over your last 20 games gets you there.

Does a 50% win rate get me to Mythical Glory? Not above Mythic. Below Mythic you climb slowly on stars even near a coin flip, but once you're on the points counter a loss subtracts points directly, so a 50% win rate stalls you in place. You need a positive win rate to keep gaining net points.
