Once Human Next Loot Crate: Nailoong Party Boing (Nov 4), Cost and Pity Explained

Quick answer: The next Once Human loot crate is Party Boing, a Once Human x Nailoong collab Lightforge Loot Crate that opens on November 4, 2026 (PT) with the next update (servers go down at 3:00 PM PT, which is already November 5 in most of Europe and in Asia, and 11:00 PM on November 4 in the UK). The official art lists six headline cosmetics: the Rhythm Starcore fashion set, the Gurgle Express vehicle skin, the Wildlands Cutie Void Wings skin, the Chubby Buddy Cradle cosmetic, the Vending Machine - Nailoong's Corner facility skin and the Who's the Real Cutie group action. Each opening costs 1 Lightforge Ingot (160 Crystgin), the first 10 Ingots are half price, and the current crate rules guarantee a Lightforge Gem every 20 openings. This page was checked against Version 3.1.1, the current build, and the official previews for the November 4 update, on PS5, Xbox, PC and mobile.

Key takeaways

  • Next crate: Party Boing, the Nailoong collab crate, from November 4 (PT). Collab events with free Nailoong rewards run alongside it.
  • Price: 160 Crystgin per opening. Your first 10 Ingots on each crate theme cost 80 Crystgin each, so 10 openings cost 800 Crystgin.
  • Pity: one Lightforge Gem within every 20 openings. Gems redeem top prizes in the Redemption Shop.
  • Rates are published. Every 2026 crate so far lists a 7% Gem rate and a Legendary collection rate under 1%. Party Boing's own table is due on launch day.
  • Rhythm: a new themed crate has landed roughly every two weeks since August, and old crates come back in seasonal Return events.

What is the next loot crate in Once Human?

Official Once Human x Nailoong collab teaser art

Starry Studio announced the collab on the official X account on October 29:

"Once Human × Nailoong Arrives Nov 4 (PT)! That's right, the legendary big belly is coming to stir things up in Nalcott! Join the collab events to earn rewards, unlock Nailoong-themed cosmetics and Lightforge Loot Crate."

Four days later, on November 2, the @OnceHuman_ account published the crate itself: "New Lightforge Loot Crate Available Nov 4 (PT)", promising "the new Fashion Set with exclusive idle and jump animations, the new vehicle skin with its own special animated effects, and more in the latest crate."

The key art names the crate Party Boing and shows these items:

ItemTypeWhat it changes
Rhythm StarcoreFashion setCharacter outfit. The studio says it has its own idle and jump animations
Gurgle ExpressVehicle skinA yellow and blue Nailoong car. The studio says it has animated effects
Wildlands CutieVoid Wings skinYour Void Wings glider, reskinned as Nailoong in a flying cap
Chubby BuddyCradle cosmeticThe backpack-mounted Cradle becomes a Nailoong plush
Vending Machine - Nailoong's CornerFacility skinReskins a territory Vending Machine as a street stall
Who's the Real CutieGroup actionA two-player emote

Two things are not public yet. The studio has not said which of these items are Legendary Lightforge Collection pieces, and the Party Boing probability table had not been posted at the time of writing (November 3). Lightforge rate tables usually appear with the update notes, so check the in-game crate details on November 4 before you spend.

Spelling note: the studio writes Nailoong, with a double O. Many players type "Nailong". They mean the same character.

When does the Nailoong crate go live?

The Version 3.1.1 announcement set the date: "The next update is scheduled for November 4, 2026, at 3:00 PM (PT)." That is one hour earlier than the 4:00 PM PT slot most 2026 updates have used, so do not plan around the usual time.

RegionMaintenance starts
US West (PT)November 4, 3:00 PM
US East (ET)November 4, 6:00 PM
UK (GMT)November 4, 11:00 PM
Central Europe (CET)November 5, 12:00 AM
Moscow (MSK)November 5, 2:00 AM

This is also why some players say the collab starts on November 5, even though maintenance starts late on November 4 in the UK and the Americas. A studio bug-fix post from October 23 called the same patch "the next version update (November 5)", using the server date. The crate opens after maintenance ends, and the studio always says the actual opening time may differ.

For the full patch once it lands, our Once Human patch notes page is updated with each version.

How much does a Lightforge Loot Crate cost?

The official Lightforge Loot Crate rules, reposted with the October 22 probability announcement, set the price:

"Opening a Lightforge Loot Crate costs 1 Lightforge Ingot, valued at 160 Crystgin. The first 10 Lightforge Ingot purchases will be at half price."

Here is what that means in Crystgin, assuming you buy every Ingot:

OpeningsCrystgin spentWhat the rules guarantee
10800Nothing specific. You get 10 cosmetics or Gems at random
202,400At least 1 Lightforge Gem
405,600At least 2 Lightforge Gems
608,800At least 3 Lightforge Gems

The rules say "each Lightforge Loot Crate theme comes with a unique limited-time discount," and the half-price deal can be used once per theme. Your 10 cheap Ingots on Bone Path do not stop you getting 10 more on Party Boing.

The real-money price of Crystgin depends on the pack and the current top-up bonus, so we do not convert it here. The studio's own crate post points players to the Official Top-up Center for "up to an additional 24% Crystgin". Buy Crystgin only there or through the PlayStation, Xbox, Steam or mobile store. Third-party "cheap Crystgin" sellers risk your account.

You can also get Ingots free. The Halloween Spooky Night Check-In (October 22 to November 11, server time) includes a Lightforge Ingot among its rewards, and the 3.0.4 Global Heat bonus check-in did too. Our Halloween event guide has the check-in details.

How does the Lightforge pity system work?

Crates launched in 2025 and later use the Lightforge Gem guarantee. The official rules say:

"One Lightforge Gem is guaranteed every 20 openings."

When you draw a Gem, the counter resets. There is no limit on how many Gems you can draw. The studio's 2.0.1 notes describe a Gem as an item "which can be used to redeem a top prize", and its 2.3.4 notes priced the Ultra Legendary Voidstar vehicle skin at 10 Lightforge Gems, with a launch discount. Different prizes cost different amounts, so check the Redemption Shop prices for Party Boing before you decide how deep to go.

Three more rules matter:

  • Pity is shared between crates of the same type. Since the April 22, 2026 update, "similar crates will now share the same guarantee progress." Twelve openings on Bone Path would count toward Party Boing's Gem guarantee, if Party Boing uses the same Gem guarantee (check its rules screen on launch day). A crate type with a different guarantee, such as some older "Collection within 30 draws" crates, tracks separately.
  • Duplicates become Lightforge Relics. Relics redeem cosmetics from the current crate or other themes, plus a limited number of Ingots.
  • Cosmetics are account-wide. "Cosmetics obtained can be shared between all characters on the account," so you do not need to pull on each character.

One older limit is gone. Under the 2024 rules, only one character per account could draw from a crate. The updated rules drop that line, and the cap per crate theme is now 9,999 openings.

What are the drop rates in recent crates?

Starry Studio publishes a full rate table for every Lightforge crate. These are the official rates for the 2026 crates leading into Party Boing:

Crate (launch)Lightforge GemLegendary collectionEpic collection
Bone Path (Oct 21)7.00%0.52%none listed
Moon That Lingers (Sep 16)7.00%0.22%0.39%
Duskfire Breaker (Sep 2)7.00%0.32%0.68%
Celestial Anthem (Aug 24)7.00%0.22%0.78%

Read the Legendary column carefully. That chance is shared by all the Legendary collection items in the crate, not each one. Bone Path's 0.52% covers five items, from the Underworld Echo set to the Night of Tremors group action. In practice you get most featured items through Gems and the Redemption Shop, not a lucky pull.

Party Boing's rates are not published yet. If it follows the 2026 pattern, expect a 7% Gem rate and a Legendary collection chance under 1%. Treat that as a pattern, not a promise, until the official table is posted.

How often does Once Human release a new loot crate?

Gurgle Express vehicle skin from the Party Boing Lightforge Loot Crate

Every crate since August comes from an official update announcement:

Date (PT)CrateType
August 5DreamtideNew theme (3.0.3)
August 24Celestial AnthemNew theme (3.0.4)
September 2Duskfire BreakerNew theme (3.0.5)
September 16Moon That LingersNew theme (3.0.6)
September 28Autumn GleamReturn event (3.0.7)
October 7Nevermore ProtocolNew theme, announced in 3.0.7
October 21Bone PathNew theme (3.1.1, Isles of Abyss launch)
November 4Party BoingNailoong collab

That is a new crate or Return event every 9 to 19 days, usually on an update day. New themes alone have come 9 to 21 days apart: Moon That Lingers to Nevermore Protocol was a 21-day gap, with the Autumn Gleam Return in between. The studio does not publish a crate calendar, so the best signal for the crate after Party Boing is the next update announcement, plus the preview art the official X account posts a few days ahead.

Leaks circulate on Reddit and YouTube. We do not repeat them here. The studio has changed names, contents and dates between preview and launch before.

Do old loot crates come back?

Yes. The rules say crates "are available for a limited time and will be removed after this period ends. However, they may return in the future." In 2026 that has meant one big Return event per season:

Return eventDate (PT)Crates offered
Winter's HuntJanuary 75 returning crates, pick 3
Spring ReturnApril 8Returning crates
Summer WaveJuly 22Golden Surge, Frostshade, Phaze Blitz, Astral Nexus, Dream Waltz
Autumn GleamSeptember 28Aureate Gala, Thunder Overlord, Scorching Craving, Nightbloom Sect, Youthful Glory

The Autumn Gleam notes describe the format: "The top three voted returning crates, Aureate Gala, Thunder Overlord, and Scorching Craving, are back as scheduled," joined by two more. You get keys to choose up to three of the five. Return crates keep their original probabilities, prices and guarantee, and your earlier guarantee progress on that theme carries over. Each Return also adds a collection challenge with its own rewards.

If the pattern holds, the next Return lands around early January 2027. That is an inference from four events, not an announcement. If you missed Bone Path or Nevermore Protocol, waiting for a Return costs nothing, because Ingots, Relics and Gems you don't spend stay in your account.

Is the Party Boing crate worth it?

It depends on what you want from it. Lightforge crates are cosmetic only: no stats, no weapon power, nothing that changes a fight. The studio's crate post invites players on PC, mobile and console, so console players get the same crate.

Player reaction has been split. In the r/OnceHumanOfficial preview thread, one player wrote "I'm glad my wallet will be able to rest for a while," while another said "The hair is cool, but basically that's it." Nailoong is a viral meme character in China and much less known in the West. If the style isn't for you, this is a good crate to skip and save Ingots for the next theme or the January Return.

If you want one specific item, here is the cheapest path:

  • Claim free Ingots first. Use the Halloween check-in Ingot before it ends on November 11 (server time).
  • Use the half-price 10. 800 Crystgin for 10 openings is the best rate the crate offers.
  • Plan around Gems, not luck. Look up your target's Gem price in the Redemption Shop, then count 20 openings per Gem, minus the pity you already have from earlier crates of the same type.
  • Stop at your number. Duplicates turn into Relics, which helps, but chasing a 0.5% item without a plan is how players overspend.

Some Nailoong rewards will be free. The studio says the collab events let you "earn rewards" and "unlock Nailoong-themed cosmetics" alongside the crate. The event list will be in the November 4 patch notes.

FAQ

What is the next loot crate in Once Human? Party Boing, the Once Human x Nailoong collab Lightforge Loot Crate, from November 4, 2026 (PT). It includes the Rhythm Starcore set, the Gurgle Express vehicle skin, the Wildlands Cutie Void Wings skin, the Chubby Buddy Cradle cosmetic, Nailoong's Corner vending machine skin and the Who's the Real Cutie group action.

How much does one Lightforge Loot Crate cost? One Lightforge Ingot, valued at 160 Crystgin. The first 10 Ingots per crate theme are half price, 80 Crystgin each.

Is there pity on Once Human loot crates? Yes. Current Lightforge crates guarantee one Lightforge Gem within every 20 openings, and the counter resets when you draw one. Since April 2026, crates of the same type share that guarantee progress.

Will the Nailoong crate come back later? The studio has not said. Official rules say limited crates "may return in the future", and 2026 has had a Return event each season, where players vote for crates and pick up to three. Collab crates can carry licensing limits, so don't assume Party Boing will return.

Do Lightforge cosmetics work on all my characters? Yes. The official rules say cosmetics "can be shared between all characters on the account." That covers your characters on any server, as long as they are on the same account.

Is it Nailong or Nailoong? The studio spells it Nailoong. Players often type Nailong. It is the same yellow character either way.
