Most Remielle Dan build advice treats her like a normal Anomaly carry. She is not one. Her damage type changes depending on who you put behind her, her signature effect rewrites your teammates' Anomalies instead of applying her own, and one line in her passive quietly bans an entire team archetype. This guide is current as of Version 3.2, which ends 2026-10-21 at 06:00 (UTC+8).
Quick answer: Build Remielle entirely around Anomaly Proficiency, not CRIT. Her best W-Engine is her signature Ode of Resurrected Wings; her best Drive Disc set is 4-piece Feathered Fate, which is the only set in the game that names the Lumiflux Attribute in its text. Run main stats AP / Attribute DMG / Anomaly Mastery on slots 4-5-6, and run her with two other Anomaly Agents — never one, never a Support in the third slot. Her Mindscape 2 is the only cheap Mindscape worth chasing.
What makes Remielle different in Zenless Zone Zero?
Remielle Dan released on 2026-07-29 with Version 3.1, in the "Paradise Regained" channel that ran until 2026-09-08. She is an S-Rank Anomaly Agent, and she is the only Agent in Zenless Zone Zero with the Lumiflux Attribute. Two versions later, nobody has joined her there.
Lumiflux does not behave like Fire or Electric. The in-game description is explicit:
"Upon entering the battlefield, a Lumiflux Agent undergoes Attribute Flux based on the Base attribute of the next Agent in the squad... When Agents deal Lumiflux DMG, they do not accumulate Anomaly Buildup. Some skills of Lumiflux Agents can directly apply Lumiflux Buildup to enemies. If an enemy has Lumiflux Buildup and is about to enter an Anomaly state, that Anomaly state will be Refringed. After Refringe, the Anomaly Effect Strength of that Anomaly state will be enhanced based on the Refringe Coefficient of the Lumiflux Buildup provider."
Three practical consequences fall out of that paragraph, and they drive the whole build.
First, team order is a build decision. Remielle inherits the Attribute of whoever sits directly after her in the squad list. Put Hoshimi Miyabi behind her and she becomes Frost; put Tsukishiro Yanagi behind her and she becomes Electric. Every other Agent in the game has a fixed Attribute, which is why this detail gets missed.
Second, Remielle does not want to trigger her own Anomalies. Her own Lumiflux hits generate no Anomaly Buildup at all. Her payoff is Refringe: your teammate's Anomaly fires, and Remielle makes it bigger.
Third, her scaling stat is Anomaly Proficiency, and the conversion is published in her Core Passive text. "Remielle's Refringe Coefficient is equal to 0.02% of her Anomaly Proficiency. If there are 3 Anomaly characters in the squad, her Refringe Coefficient increases by an additional 10%."
That is a linear, uncapped AP-to-damage pipeline on every Anomaly your squad triggers, plus a flat bonus for a specific team shape. Nothing in her kit scales off CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG in a comparable way.
Why do three Anomaly Agents matter so much?
Her Additional Ability, Invitation to Bloom, is where the math stops being gentle. It activates when another squad member is an Anomaly character or shares her faction, and then reads:
"When there are 1/2/3 Anomaly characters in the squad, upon entering the battlefield, all squad members gain an ATK increase equal to 6%/12%/40% of Remielle's initial ATK, up to a maximum increase of 1,600 ATK. Remielle's Daze dealt while in the Phase Flow state increases by 6%/12%/35%."
Look at the shape of that curve. One to two Anomaly Agents doubles the bonus; two to three more than triples it again. On a fully-kitted Remielle sitting around 2,000 ATK, the three-Anomaly tier is worth roughly 800 ATK to every squad member against roughly 240 ATK at the two-Anomaly tier, before the 1,600 ATK cap bites.
This is why Remielle comps built like normal teams underperform. A carry, Remielle and a Support looks reasonable on paper and lands on the 12% step, not the 40% step. Players grinding this week's Anomaly-gated Shiyu Defense room reported exactly that failure pattern on the subreddit, cycling Yuzuha, Alice and Miyabi around her without clearing. Ukinami Yuzuha is a Support, not an Anomaly Agent, so any comp containing her is capped at the second tier regardless of how strong the other slots are.
The game appears to agree with the three-Anomaly reading. Players who used the Version 3.2 free-Agent selection panel report that its ideal-squad tab listed Remielle and Velina Airgid as Jane Doe's recommended teammates. Jane Doe is Physical/Anomaly, Velina Airgid is Wind/Anomaly, Remielle is Anomaly. That is a triple-Anomaly board.
One honest caveat: the in-game text does not clarify whether the count of three includes Remielle herself. Community testing leans toward Remielle counting, which means you need two other Anomaly Agents. Build for two others and you are safe under either reading.
Which W-Engine is best for Remielle?
Her signature, Ode of Resurrected Wings, released alongside her in Version 3.1 and is not close to being replaced. Base ATK runs 50 to 743 and the advanced stat is ATK% from 14.4% to 36%. Its effect, Paradise Lost, grants flat Anomaly Proficiency, and when the equipper triggers a Refringe reaction they gain increased Anomaly DMG while all squad members gain increased DMG dealt.
At Uptier 1 that is +96 Anomaly Proficiency, +20% Anomaly DMG for Remielle, and +30% DMG dealt for the entire squad. At Uptier 5 it reaches +135 AP, +32% Anomaly DMG, and +48% squad-wide DMG. The duration is 30 seconds and every Refringe resets it, so in a real three-Anomaly team the squad buff is effectively permanent.
A 48% team-wide damage multiplier on a single W-Engine is not a personal-damage upgrade, it is a team multiplier that happens to live in Remielle's weapon slot. If you own her, this is the engine.
Without the signature, prioritise raw Anomaly Proficiency over ATK% on whatever S-Rank Anomaly engine you own, because her Refringe Coefficient and her Luminize multiplier both read AP and neither reads ATK beyond her buff line. Our W-Engine tier list covers the fallback order across the Anomaly roster.
What are the best Drive Discs for Remielle?
Run 4-piece Feathered Fate. The set drops from Swiftspine and Splitclaw and its text is unusually specific:
- 2-piece: Anomaly Proficiency +30.
- 4-piece: "When the equipper enters the battlefield or is switched in as the active character, they gain the following buff: Anomaly Proficiency increases by 50. If the equipper is a Lumiflux character, Attribute Anomaly DMG increases by 15%, lasting 15s. This buff remains active while the equipper is off-field."
A set bonus that names the Lumiflux Attribute currently applies to exactly one Agent in the entire roster. The off-field clause matters just as much, because Remielle spends large stretches of a rotation in her autonomous Phase Flow state rather than as your active character. (Phoenix and Severian are confirmed as Version 3.3's new Agents, but their Attributes are unannounced; if either is Lumiflux, the set stops being bespoke. Remielle's own build does not change either way.)
Short on Feathered Fate pieces? 2-piece Feathered Fate plus 2-piece from any AP set is a clean stopgap. Freedom Blues (AP +30, EX Special cuts the target's Anomaly Buildup RES by 20% for 8 seconds) and Phaethon's Melody (Anomaly Mastery +8%, and any squad EX Special grants the equipper +45 AP for 8 seconds) are both live options. Full ranking in our best Drive Discs guide.
What main stats should you run?
Slots 4, 5 and 6 are the only choices that matter.
- Slot 4: Anomaly Proficiency. Not CRIT Rate, not CRIT DMG. Her entire Refringe pipeline is a percentage of this number.
- Slot 5: Attribute DMG Bonus%, conditionally. This is the trap slot. Attribute DMG Bonus is attribute-locked, and Remielle's damage type floats with whoever you place behind her. A Frost DMG% disc is dead weight the moment you swap her follow-slot to an Electric Agent. Take it only if your Attribute Flux target is fixed; otherwise take ATK%.
- Slot 6: Anomaly Mastery%. Mastery scales the Anomaly damage she is enhancing. Impact% and Energy Regen% are wasted on her.
For substats, Anomaly Proficiency first, then ATK%, then flat ATK. Her Core Skill enhancement line gives +18 AP three times and +25 Base ATK three times, totalling +54 Anomaly Proficiency and +75 Base ATK at maximum, which tells you exactly what HoYoverse intended you to stack.
One micro-optimisation most guides skip: her Rainbow's End finisher upgrades into Fleeting Grace when you have Luminous Reflection, obtained from her Chain Attack or her Assist: Flower & Feather Dance. At skill level 16 Rainbow's End deals 462% and Fleeting Grace deals 1,411.7%, a 3.06x jump, and the attached Luminize multiplier doubles from 180% to 360%. Entering a Basic Attack chain without first banking Luminous Reflection throws away roughly two thirds of her biggest non-Ultimate hit.
How do you actually play her in a rotation?
Remielle builds Floating Radiance from Basic Attacks, capped at 120. Her Basic chain grants 5, 5, 15 and 35 per hit, Solo Dance gives 30, and Rainbow's End or Fleeting Grace grant the full 120. At 120 she enters Phase Flow, where she acts autonomously and cannot be manually switched in except through a Chain Attack.
Her Assist: Flower & Feather Dance consumes 40 Floating Radiance, is free if you have 90 or less remaining, grants Luminous Reflection, and extends Stun duration by 3 seconds once per Stun window. That extension is why she slots into Stun-driven teams without being a Stun Agent.
Voidflares are the other resource. When a teammate's Anomaly gets Refringed she generates a Voidflare scaled by the enhanced Anomaly Effect Strength, storing up to 3, which Luminize then spends. All stored Voidflares clear when she enters Phase Flow or after Rainbow's End or Fleeting Grace, so do not sit on three while mashing Basics.
Her ceiling sits on the Ultimate, Dazzling Curtain Call, at 4,750.2% at level 16 with a 378% Luminize rider, and her Chain Attack at 1,856.2% while applying 2 Lumiflux Buildup. Open with the Chain Attack: that Lumiflux Buildup is what makes your teammates' next Anomalies Refringe at all.
Which Mindscapes are worth pulling for?
Mindscape 2 is the value pick, and it is the only one worth planning around. It raises her Refringe Coefficient by a flat 20%, lets your Anomaly squadmates ignore 15% of DEF against enemies carrying her Prismatic effect for an extra 8 seconds after Prismatic ends, and speeds up her automatic Lumiflux Buildup in Phase Flow. A flat 20% on the coefficient that every Refringe multiplies is a straight damage increase across the whole team.
Mindscape 1 is strong but less efficient: three special Voidflares on entering the battlefield, Luminize ignoring 50% of All-Attribute RES, 200 Decibels from her Assist on an 18-second cooldown, and +10% Attribute Anomaly DMG for teammates while she is in Phase Flow.
Mindscapes 3 and 5 are skill levels. Mindscape 4 adds +12% to the Luminize multiplier. Mindscape 6 makes Rainbow's End and Fleeting Grace trigger Luminize twice. Read our pity system breakdown before committing, because Mindscapes are copies and the arithmetic is unforgiving.
What does a full Remielle build cost?
Promotion from rank 1 to 5 costs 800,000 Denny, 4 Basic and 32 Advanced Anomaly Certification Seals, and 30 Controller Certification Seals. One skill from level 1 to 12 costs 500,000 Denny, 5 Basic, 15 Advanced and 50 Specialized Lumiflux Chips, and 1 Hamster Cage Pass. Maxing her Core Skill costs 405,000 Denny, 9 Timeworn Husks and 60 Higher Dimensional Data: Deep Erosion Circuit. At level 60 with full promotion she sits at 7,482 HP, 748 ATK and 600 DEF.
Is Remielle getting a rerun in Version 3.3?
Not announced, and that distinction matters. Here is what is actually confirmed as of 2026-10-09.
Version 3.2 ends on 2026-10-21 at 06:00 (UTC+8), which is when Version 3.3 begins. HoYoverse's official HoYoLAB announcement, posted 2026-10-05, states: "The Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.3 'Journey to the Sky' Special Program will begin on October 9 at 19:30 (UTC+8)!" That broadcast is happening today, and it is where 3.3's banner lineup gets revealed.
What is confirmed about 3.3 so far is that Phoenix and Severian are the new Agents. Their ranks, Attributes, Specialties, kits and phase assignments are not announced. Neither is any Remielle rerun. Historically, the Limited-Time Channels notice with exact banner dates posts roughly two days before a phase opens, which points to 2026-10-19 for the Phase I notice.
Remielle has had exactly one channel so far, "Paradise Regained," which ran the full length of Version 3.1. Agents with a single past channel are rerun candidates, but there is no published date and nobody outside HoYoverse has one either. We track the lineup as it is confirmed in our Version 3.3 banners guide.
Frequently asked questions
Was Remielle free? No, and this is a widespread misconception from Version 3.2. The free-Agent selection panel let you permanently choose one of Jane Doe, Lucia, Soldier 0 - Anby, Hugo or Trigger. Remielle appeared in a second tab as a recommended teammate with a trial, which is why so many players saw her name next to a free reward and assumed she was one.
Should Remielle build Anomaly Proficiency or CRIT? Anomaly Proficiency. Her Refringe Coefficient is literally 0.02% of her AP, her Luminize multiplier gains a further percentage of her AP, and her Core Skill enhancement grants +54 AP at maximum. There is no CRIT line in her kit with comparable scaling.
Does Remielle's Attribute change? Yes. She inherits the Base Attribute of the Agent placed directly after her in the squad, which is why team order affects her build and why an attribute-locked Slot 5 disc can become dead weight.
Can Remielle work as the only Anomaly Agent in a team? Technically yes, practically no. One Anomaly Agent in the squad sets her team-wide ATK buff to 6% of her initial ATK instead of 40%, and she has no Anomaly of her own to Refringe. She needs teammates who trigger Anomalies.
Is 4-piece Feathered Fate better than 2+2? Yes, clearly. The 4-piece grants +50 Anomaly Proficiency on entry or switch-in plus 15% Attribute Anomaly DMG specifically for Lumiflux characters, and the buff stays active off-field, which is where she spends much of a rotation.
Who are Remielle's best teammates? Any two Anomaly Agents. Hoshimi Miyabi (Frost), Tsukishiro Yanagi (Electric), Alice Thymefield (Physical), Jane Doe (Physical), Velina Airgid (Wind) and Burnice White (Fire) all qualify. Pick the one whose Attribute you want Remielle to inherit and place them directly behind her. Our best teams guide has the full pairings.
How we sourced this guide: version dates and the Special Program announcement come from HoYoverse's official HoYoLAB posts; multipliers, set bonuses, promotion costs and Mindscape text are in-game values. The team-shape analysis and the Slot 5 warning are our own derivations, and the free-Agent misconception comes from r/ZenlessZoneZero this week. Remielle's rerun status is unconfirmed.
