Roxy releases in two days, and a dozen "full Roxy build" pages already rank for her name. Almost all of them list her Core Passive, her skill multipliers and her base stats.
HoYoverse has not published any of those things.
Everything below is either printed in a first-party HoYoverse notice or pulled from in-game text that has been live for months. Where something is not known yet, this page says so instead of filling the gap.
Quick answer: Roxy is an S-Rank Wind Stun Agent on the Cindernight Respite Signal Search from 2026/09/30 12:00 to 2026/10/20 14:59 server time. Her one published skill line, Porcelloy Heart, only pays out if a teammate is an Attack, Rupture or Armorer Agent — which is why all three of HoYoverse's own recommended teams contain exactly one. Best disc set is King of the Summit, whose 4-piece is written for a Stun character with 50% or more CRIT Rate. Best W-Engine is her Exclusive Crimson Moon Casket, stat line still unpublished; the stand-in is The Restrained, buyable with Residual Signal. Pre-farm Counterfeit Nucleus and Higher Dimensional Data: Imitation Core — both are farmable today.
What has HoYoverse actually published about Roxy in Zenless Zone Zero?
Three first-party documents exist. Between them: her role, one ability, three team comps, her obtain method and her Core Skill materials. Nothing else.
The Version 3.2 update announcement states it plainly: "S-Rank Agent Roxy (Wind - Stun) Can be obtained through the 'Cindernight Respite' Signal Search." The same notice confirms "S-Rank W-Engine Crimson Moon Casket (Stun) Can be obtained through the 'Crimson Moon Casket' Signal Search."
The Agent Mechanics Intro for Roxy gives her role in HoYoverse's own words: "Wind Stun Agent / Increases CRIT DMG or Laceration DMG dealt by the whole squad / Can additionally boost the whole squad's DMG through Contamination."
And then it gives exactly one skill block — her Additional Ability, Porcelloy Heart — before ending on the disclaimer HoYoverse attaches to every pre-release kit sheet: "In development. Not representative of the post-release version."
What is not in any of it: her Core Passive, Core Skill, Basic Attack, Special and EX Special Attack, Chain Attack, Ultimate, every damage and Daze multiplier, and her base stats. The community wiki's skill, promotion and Mindscape Cinema templates for her are empty shells too. Any page quoting a number for Roxy's EX Special today is reading a datamine, not HoYoverse.

What does Porcelloy Heart do, and why does it decide her whole build?
Her Additional Ability, quoted in full from the official mechanics sheet:
"When another character in your squad is an Attack, Rupture, or Armorer Agent: Roxy's DMG increases. When any squad member's attack hits an enemy, their Stun DMG Multiplier is increased, and when an enemy becomes Stunned, their Stun duration is extended. This Stun duration increase does not stack with similar effects. While an enemy is in the Windswept state applied by a squad member, the direct Wind DMG they receive and the direct Attack DMG of the attribute that triggered Contamination are further increased. Upon entering the battlefield, Roxy gains Energy. Windswept effects applied by all squad members last longer. When using an EX Special Attack, Anomaly Buildup Rate increases."
Six separate effects, and only the first sentence is conditional — but it gates the rest:
- The gate. One teammate must be an Attack, Rupture or Armorer Agent. Not Support, not Anomaly, not another Stun.
- Squad-wide Stun DMG Multiplier when anyone lands a hit — this is the squad buff, and why she is described as raising the team's CRIT DMG.
- Extended Stun duration, explicitly non-stacking, so do not pair her with another source of Stun extension and expect it to add.
- A Windswept amplifier: while the enemy is Windswept they take more direct Wind DMG and more direct Attack DMG from whichever attribute triggered Contamination.
- Energy on entry, which sets how fast she reaches her EX Special.
- Longer Windswept from every squad member, not just from her.
One vocabulary note, because guides conflate these constantly. Windswept and Contamination are both states under Wind's Attribute Anomaly, which is why her kit names them together. Laceration is not a Wind mechanic — it belongs to the Armorer specialty, described in game as agents who "excel at dealing massive DMG through Maim and Laceration." That is why her role text offers "CRIT DMG or Laceration DMG": the same buff reads differently depending on the gated specialty you bring.
Who are the best teammates for Roxy?
You do not have to guess. HoYoverse printed three recommended compositions on the mechanics sheet, and all three are the same shape.
- Roxy / Claret Flint / Rina — Claret Flint is Electric Armorer, Alexandrina "Rina" Sebastiane is Electric Support.
- Roxy / Sigrid / Astra Yao — Sigrid de L'Azur is Ice Attack, Astra Yao is Ether Support.
- Roxy / Yixuan / Lucia — Yixuan is Auric Ink Rupture, Lucia Elowen is Ether Support.
Armorer, Attack, Rupture — one of each, with a Support in the third slot every single time. That list is a demonstration of the Porcelloy Heart gate, not a list of favourites. The rule: Roxy plus one damage dealer from those three specialties plus one Support. Cross-check your roster against our ZZZ best teams page — the gate overrides any generic pairing.
The Claret Flint comp is worth flagging: Claret released on September 9 in this same version, so if you pulled her, your Roxy team is already built.
What is the best W-Engine for Roxy?
Her Exclusive is Crimson Moon Casket, a Stun W-Engine on its own separate channel running the same dates. Honest status: HoYoverse has confirmed the engine exists, is S-Rank, is Stun-specialty and is hers — and has published no base stat, no advanced stat and no passive text. Anyone quoting its numbers today is reading a datamine.
So plan around the two S-Rank Stun engines you can get without gambling on a second channel. Both sit on the permanent Star-Studded Cast Signal Search as well as every Exclusive and W-Engine Channel:
- The Restrained — 46 to 684 base ATK, 7.2% to 18% Impact. Binding Chains: when an attack hits, DMG and Daze from Basic Attacks increase by 6% at refinement 1, up to 12% at refinement 5, for 8 seconds, stacking up to 5 times, at most once per skill. Critically, it is purchasable with Residual Signal — a Stun engine you can buy instead of pull.
- Hellfire Gears — same 46 to 684 base ATK and 7.2% to 18% Impact. Passionate Construction: off-field Energy Regen +0.6/s at refinement 1 up to 1.2/s at refinement 5, and an EX Special Attack raises Impact by 10% at refinement 1 up to 20% at refinement 5 for 10 seconds, stacking twice.
Between them: The Restrained if you play Roxy on-field building Daze through her Basic Attack chain, Hellfire Gears if you swap her in for an EX Special and straight back out, since its off-field Energy Regen pays you for benching her. Ranking context is in our ZZZ W-Engine tier list.
What are the best Drive Discs for Roxy?
This section can be settled with certainty, because Drive Disc bonuses are in-game text that has not changed — and one set reads like it was drafted for her. King of the Summit (4-piece) is the answer. Its bonuses, verbatim:
- 2-piece: "Increases Daze of attacks by 6%"
- 4-piece: "When the equipper is a Stun character and uses an EX Special Attack or Chain Attack, increases CRIT DMG of all squad members by 15%, and when the equipper's CRIT Rate is more than or equal to 50%, further increases CRIT DMG by 15%, lasting 15s."
Match that against her published role — "Increases CRIT DMG or Laceration DMG dealt by the whole squad" — and it is the same sentence written twice. The set requires a Stun equipper, which she is, and triggers off EX Special Attack, which her Additional Ability rewards her for using. The second 15% has a hard threshold: CRIT Rate at or above 50%, which turns her sub-stat priority into a checklist — 50% CRIT Rate first, then Impact, then the rest. Farm it from Words and Weapons, an Area Patrol stage costing 60 Battery Charge against a Banyrek and a Dullahan.
The alternatives, ranked and with the reasons:
- Shockstar Disco (4-piece) — 2-piece Impact +6%; 4-piece makes Basic Attacks, Dash Attacks and Dodge Counters inflict 20% more Daze to the main target. Take this if your problem is failing to reach Stun at all; take King of the Summit if you already reach Stun and want the window to hurt more. Farms from Hunter and Hound.
- Swing Jazz (4-piece) — 2-piece Energy Regen +20%; 4-piece, a Chain Attack or Ultimate increases all squad members' DMG by 15% for 12 seconds. A real competitor for a support-leaning build, and the Energy Regen stacks with her on-entry Energy. Farms from Monster and Weirdo.
- Wuthering Salon — 2-piece only, for Wind DMG +10%. Its 4-piece grants 25 Anomaly Proficiency per EX Special plus 18% DMG on triggering Windswept, and Anomaly Proficiency does nothing for a Stun Agent's Daze — half the bonus is dead weight on her. That is the trap on this page.

What should you farm for Roxy before September 30?
You can do real work on Roxy before she exists: her Core Skill upgrade materials are published, and both already drop from live content.

Bank those now. Every day spent farming after she arrives is a day her squad buff is not at full value.
How do you get Roxy, and what else is on the banner?
The V3.2 Limited-Time Channels Phase II notice carries the full terms. The window is 2026/09/30 12:00 to 2026/10/20 14:59 server time — read that as your own region, which puts Asia and America accounts 13 hours apart on the same unlock.
Cindernight Respite is Roxy's Exclusive Channel, with default rate-up A-Ranks Corin (Physical - Attack) and Billy (Physical - Attack). Crimson Moon Casket is the separate W-Engine Channel, carrying her engine alongside Housekeeper and Starlight Engine Replica. Both S-Rank Signal Customization (pick 6) and A-Rank Rate Up (pick 2) apply.
The pity detail that costs people characters: Exclusive-Channel accumulation is shared across Exclusive Channels only and is completely independent of W-Engine Channels. Pulling Crimson Moon Casket builds nothing toward Roxy herself. Counts are in our ZZZ pity system page.
Running on the same dates is The Final Callback - Roxy, a free trial. It needs Inter-Knot Lv. 8 and the Event feature unlocked during Main Story Prologue - Intermission, with first-clear rewards on the results screen.
One warning, because this is the most common way players misjudge a new Agent: trial stages layer event-only buffs on top of the character. Players who ran an earlier Roxy trial reported a "total 485% stun dmg multiplier, of which 288% came from event" — roughly 60% of the number on screen was the stage, not the Agent. Use the trial to judge her combat feel, never her damage figures.
Should you pull Roxy?
For: her squad buff is unconditional once the gate is met, she raises CRIT DMG for the whole team rather than just herself, and she has three published comps most accounts can already field. Stun units age well because they are infrastructure.
Against, from what players are actually raising: early impressions flag that "her daze is bit lacking" and a "lack of quick assist," and the specialty gate is a real roster constraint — own no Attack, Rupture or Armorer Agent worth playing and a chunk of her value is switched off.
Her numbers are not public, so nobody ranking her is doing it from her real kit. Pull her because you want a Wind Stun Agent who buffs squad CRIT DMG and you have a gated teammate for her — not off a tier letter assigned to an unpublished kit.
