How to unlock Pyroclast Scatter in Modern Warfare 4
Camo mastery in Modern Warfare 4 is earned per weapon, not account-wide. Every weapon has a Camo Track that progresses across Multiplayer, DMZ and Warzone. To reach Pyroclast Scatter you complete that weapon's Prestige mastery challenges. There are three mastery camos per mode plus the four-camo Prestige set, thirteen in total.
Activision has not published the individual challenge requirements yet. The camo names and artwork were confirmed at Call of Duty: NEXT, but the exact kill counts, headshot totals and weapon conditions behind Pyroclast Scatter have not been. We do not list numbers we cannot verify. The Prestige camos sit outside the three mode tracks. They are tied to Prestiging rather than to a single weapon's camo track, which makes them the longest-horizon cosmetics in Modern Warfare 4 and the clearest status signal in a lobby.
What Pyroclast Scatter looks like
Deep black with shattered shards of glowing green glass scattered across the barrel, receiver and stock. The pattern breaks apart instead of flowing — that fracturing is where the name comes from.
Scatter is the Prestige camo that reads best on long weapons — snipers and marksman rifles carry the shard pattern across their full length.
