How to get Apophic Soul Crusher in WoW Midnight
Apophic Soul Crusher is awarded by the achievement Let Me Solo Him: Azta'rec: defeat Azta'rec in his lair on Tier ?? without any other players in your party during Midnight Season 2. His lair is the nemesis delve Venomfall Deeps, and Tier ?? unlocks after you clear any delve at Tier 10 with revives remaining.
Azta'rec, Venomfall Deeps and the Tier ?? unlock
Azta'rec is the Midnight Season 2 delve Nemesis — the latest in the seasonal line that ran Zekvir, the Underpin, Ky'veza and Nullaeus before him. Like his predecessors he has a dedicated lair delve, Venomfall Deeps: a boss-only delve that is never bountiful and gives no Great Vault credit. He can also ambush you inside normal delves, or be summoned there with the Scalebound Herald's Flute, but none of that counts — the achievement requires the lair kill.
The lair runs at two difficulties, and the mount hangs on the harder one, displayed in-game simply as Tier ??:
- Tier ? — unlocked by clearing any delve at Tier 7 with revives remaining; opened August 11, 2026;
- Tier ?? — unlocked by clearing any delve at Tier 10 with revives remaining; opened the week of August 18, 2026, the first week of Season 2. This is the difficulty the achievement checks.
"Solo" means no other players in your party. Your delve companion follows the normal delve rules, so the fight is solo-player rather than help-free — but there is no way to have a healer, a tank or anyone else cover your mistakes. That is exactly why this Feat of Strength exists, and why it is the delve flex of the season.
One warning about a look-alike: Fabled Let Me Solo Him: Azta'rec is a separate achievement for doing the same kill within the first week of the season. It awards a title, not this mount, and its window is already the past — the mount achievement has no such deadline beyond the season itself.

Piloted or coached — why there is no group self-play
Most of our services default to self-play in a group, but this achievement checks that no other players are in your party, so a group carry is mechanically impossible. That leaves two honest routes. Piloted is the default for solo content: a specialist logs into your character behind a VPN matched to your region and delivers the kill. Coaching is for players who want the kill to be theirs — same price, live on Discord, with your class and the fight prepared in advance.
Requirements
A level 90 character on a live retail realm, EU or NA. Nothing else is a hard gate: if Tier ?? is still locked on your account, the qualifying Tier 10 clear is part of the order. For coaching you additionally need Discord and a character you are comfortable playing under pressure — the specialist will tell you honestly if your current gear makes the fight unreasonable and what to fix first.
How long it takes
This is a guaranteed kill, not an RNG farm, so the estimate is real: a piloted order is normally finished within 24 hours of pickup, usually in a single session including the Tier 10 unlock. Coaching depends on your own pulls and typically takes one evening. The only calendar pressure is seasonal — the achievement is Season 2 content and stops being earnable once the next delve season arrives, with no announced date for it.
