The Indigo Coiled Horror is the three-headed serpent that Zul'jarra's Forces keeps behind Renown 17 in WoW Midnight Season 2 — a ground mount, priced at 6,000× Voidlight Marl at the renown quartermaster on the Coiled Isle. At timesaver.gg the farm starts at $51.99: we push the renown, bank the Marl and walk out of Tokka's Landing with Indigo Coiled Horror in your journal.
How to get Indigo Coiled Horror in WoW Midnight
Hit Renown 17 with Zul'jarra's Forces — the patch 12.1 renown faction of the Coiled Isle — and buy the mount from Jan'sari the Watchful at Tokka's Landing (58.78, 45.95) for 6,000 Voidlight Marl. It is a guaranteed vendor unlock with zero drop luck involved; the cost is entirely time, paid in reputation and currency.
What Renown 17 actually costs
The track caps at Renown 20, so rank 17 — the unlock row Icy Veins lists as "Three Heads Are Better Than One" — means covering most of the ladder. There is no shortcut vendor and no catch-up token; reputation comes from playing the Coiled Isle, and the highest-value sources reset weekly:
| Source | Reputation |
|---|---|
| Purging the Vaults (weekly, Vaults of Atal'Utek) | 500 |
| Coiled Isle rare, first kill | 50 each |
| Zone treasure (22 total, one-time) | 50 each |
| World quests, Special Assignments, campaign, Curse Surges, Bountiful Delves, dungeon weeklies | varies |
A weekly Contract: Zul'jarra's Forces inscription also tags extra reputation onto world quests done anywhere in Midnight, which is why our farmers run the whole expansion map, not just one island. The renown climb itself is sold standalone as the Zul'jarra's Forces Renown boost — this page is that climb aimed two ranks short of the cap, plus the 6,000-Marl price tag and the purchase. The Marl arrives from world quests, events and Curse Surge satchels across every Midnight zone, and the track hands over 500 Marl at Renown 6 and 1,000 at Renown 12 on the way up, which we put straight toward the bill.

Options explained
Pick the package that matches where your account already is.
- Renown 17 + 6,000 Marl + mount — the complete job at $51.99;
- Marl & buyout only — 35% off when your Warband already holds Renown 17 and just needs the currency and the vendor trip;
- Completion method — piloted, self-play at the same price, or remote self-play (+30%);
- Speed — Standard, Express (+20%), Super Express (+40%).
Self-play, piloted or remote
Because this is weeks of open-world dailies rather than one scheduled session, piloted is the default: a single dedicated farmer takes the character through the daily loop and the reset-day weeklies on a VPN matched to your region. Self-play works too and costs the same — you get a written weekly plan built around Purging the Vaults and the Contract, and our players group with you for Vaults activities, Special Assignments and Curse Surges so nothing is left to pug luck. Remote self-play (+30%) is the middle road: the client never leaves your machine, our player drives it remotely.
Requirements
Level 90, live retail realm, EU or NA — that is the whole list. No lockouts gate the content, no gear check applies to open-world farming, and since renown and Voidlight Marl are both Warband-wide, progress from any of your alts counts toward the target and the finished rank benefits the entire account. If some renown is already banked, mention it at checkout for a quote against your actual starting rank — many accounts picked up a few ranks passively during the 12.1 campaign without noticing.
How long it takes
Plan in weeks, not days. Renown 17 of 20 is most of a track whose richest sources — the 500-reputation Purging the Vaults, the Contract, the dungeon weeklies — come once per reset, and no published mechanic lets us buy ranks outright. Daily world quests, rares, treasures and events fill the space between resets, and that daily volume is what separates a fast farm from a slow one, so we run all of it. Two ranks higher on the same ladder waits the Violet-Backed Skyfang, the flying serpent at Renown 19 and 8,000 Marl — if you suspect you will want it later, buying the pair in one climb is meaningfully cheaper than restarting the farm. And because this SKU leans so hard on reset-day chores, the WoW Midnight Weekly Bundle is the natural companion once the mount is secured.
