Prestige replaced trophy resets in February 2026, and it changed how pushing works. Old guides still talk about seasonal resets, end-of-season Trophy Boxes and "Leaderboard Prestige". All three are gone from the trophy system (Trophy Boxes now only show up occasionally as Community Event rewards). This guide covers what Prestige is now: every level and reward, the full Gold and Neon title system, the Battle Cards, and the trophy math that decides how far you can realistically push a Brawler.
Quick answer (TLDR): In Brawl Stars, a Brawler reaches Prestige 1 at 1,000 Trophies, then gains a new Prestige level at every further 1,000 (Prestige 2 at 2,000, Prestige 3 at 3,000, and so on, with no cap). Once you hit a Prestige level, you can never drop below it, and there are no more seasonal resets. Rewards: a Gold title at Prestige 1, a Neon Prestige icon at Prestige 2 and a Neon title at Prestige 3. Your Prestige levels across all Brawlers add up to an account total that unlocks Prestige Battle Cards at 1, 25, 50, 100 and 200.

What is Prestige in Brawl Stars?
Prestige is a per-Brawler progression system that starts at 1,000 Trophies. Supercell's February 2026 release notes describe it like this: "Once a Brawler reaches 1000 Trophies, players can Prestige them and continue playing to earn Prestige Trophies instead of regular Trophies." The same notes add the part that matters most: "all Prestige progress is permanent with no seasonal resets."
In practice, each Brawler has a Path to Prestige screen, which you open from that Brawler's page. Below 1,000 Trophies it shows the rewards on the way up. Above 1,000 it shows your current Prestige badge and a 0 to 1,000 bar toward the next level. The header image at the top of this guide shows an Alli at Prestige 1 with 11 Prestige Trophies toward Prestige 2.
Three rules sum up the system:
- It's per Brawler. Your Shelly and your Colt each have their own Prestige level.
- It's permanent. Reaching a Prestige sets a floor. Lose a match at exactly 1,000 and you stay at 1,000.
- There's no cap. The wiki confirms "There is no limit to the number of Prestige levels a Brawler can have." According to the community-maintained record list on the wiki, the first-ever Prestige 10 (10,000 Trophies on one Brawler) was reached on September 7, 2026 with Shade in Showdown+.
What happened to Trophy resets and the old Prestige?
They were retired in the February 24–25, 2026 update. Supercell announced the switch in advance in its "Important Trophy Season changes!" post: "The Trophy Season and the Trophy Box system will be removed," and "Every Brawler above 1000 Trophies will be reset back to 1000 Trophies." That one-time reset was the last one.
What changed:
- Trophy Seasons, seasonal resets, Season Trophies and the end-of-season Trophy Box system: removed. Supercell notes that "Ultra Trophy Boxes and the other Trophy Box tiers will still appear occasionally in Community Events."
- The old "Leaderboard Prestige": moved to a Legacy stat on your profile. It has nothing to do with the new Brawler Prestige.
- Matchmaking: now uses a hidden MMR "decoupled from Trophies", per the release notes.
- Prestige Trophies still count toward the Trophy Road and still work for "Gain Trophy" quests.
If a guide tells you trophies reset every season, it was written before February 2026.
What are all the Prestige levels and rewards?
Every Brawler has the same reward path. Here's the full list from the release notes and the wiki's tier table:
| Trophies | Tier / Prestige | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| 250 | Bronze | Brawler icon + spray |
| 500 | Silver | Brawler pins |
| 750 | Gold | 29-Gem skin (1,000 Bling if none exists) |
| 1,000 | Prestige 1 | Gold Brawler title |
| 2,000 | Prestige 2 | Neon Prestige icon |
| 3,000 | Prestige 3 | Neon Brawler title |
| 4,000+ | Prestige 4, 5, 6… | Higher Prestige count (no new Brawler cosmetic listed) |
A few details people miss:
- If you already own a reward, you just get a checkmark. The notes say "When a player already owns the reward when reaching a milestone nothing happens besides a checkmark."
- Tiers can't be lost either. The wiki notes that once a Brawler reaches a tier, it "cannot be demoted to a lower Tier, even if they lose Trophies."
- New Prestiges are announced in club chat. The June 30, 2026 update added this, per the wiki's change log.
How do Prestige titles work?
Every standard Brawler has two Prestige titles: a Gold one at Prestige 1 and a Neon one at Prestige 3. You equip one title at a time from your profile's Battle Card menu, and it shows under your name in matches.
The Gold titles are the old Brawler titles that used to come from Records. Prestige 1 now unlocks them instead. The Neon title is new with Prestige, and it's what most people mean when they search "Prestige 3 title". Here's a selection from the wiki's title list:
| Brawler | Gold title (Prestige 1) | Neon title (Prestige 3) |
|---|---|---|
| Shelly | No time to explain! | Fantástico |
| Colt | The Pretty | PEW PEW PEW |
| Brock | Boom! | Take the L |
| Piper | The Sniper | Headshots only |
| Edgar | CEO of Brawl Stars | EZ |
| Mortis | Creature of the Night | Bringer of Doom |
| Leon | The Sneaky | Now you see me... |
| Spike | One of a Kind | Speechless |
| Crow | Caw caw! | Boss of Bosses |
| Frank | The Tank | Certified Lobotomy |
| Bea | Queen | Bee Kind! |
| Buster | Blockbuster | Absolute Cinema |
| Cosmo | Out of this World | Stargazer |
| Vince | Creepy | Buggin' Out |
A Neon title is the clearest flex in the game right now. It proves you got that exact Brawler to 3,000 Trophies, and 3v3 wins at that point are worth only +2 or less.
What is the Prestige Battle Card?
Your account has a total Prestige number: the sum of every Prestige level on every Brawler. A Brawler at Prestige 3 adds 3. That total appears on your profile and on the Leaderboards, and it upgrades your Battle Card.
The cards unlock at 1, 25, 50, 100 and 200 total Prestige. The first three came with the February 2026 launch. The April 2026 release notes then added: "Prestige Battle Cards added for 100 and 200 Prestiges."
The fastest way to raise the total is breadth, not depth. Taking ten Brawlers from 0 to 1,000 gives you 10 Prestige. Pushing one Brawler from 3,000 to 4,000 gives you 1, and it's far harder. The April update also lets you sort your friends list by total Prestige.

How many Trophies do you get per win at each Prestige?
Trophy gains shrink as Prestige rises, and losses grow. These are the 3v3/5v5 values from the Brawl Stars Wiki trophy table (checked October 22, 2026; Supercell doesn't publish the full table itself), with the rounded win rate you need just to break even. The break-even figure is a baseline: it ignores Win Streak, Underdog and Rush-event bonuses, and the Prestige floor that stops you dropping below each 1,000 mark.
| Trophy range | Win | Loss | Break-even win rate |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0–49 | +10 | 0 | n/a |
| 800–999 | +10 | −4 | 29% |
| 1,000–1,099 (P1) | +10 | −5 | 33% |
| 1,500–1,799 (P1) | +10 | −9 | 47% |
| 1,800–1,999 (P1) | +10 | −10 | 50% |
| 2,000–2,499 (P2) | +8 | −10 | 56% |
| 2,500–2,799 (P2) | +6 | −10 | 63% |
| 2,800–2,999 (P2) | +4 | −10 | 71% |
| 3,000–3,099 (P3) | +2 | −10 | 83% |
| 3,100–3,999 (P3) | +1 | −10 | 91% |
| 4,000+ (P4+) | +1 | −15 | 94% |
The break-even column is just loss ÷ (win + loss). It explains why so few Brawlers sit above 3,000: at +1/−10 you'd need to win more than 9 games in 10 to make progress in 3v3. The wiki also notes that "the highest tier of Trophy gain is reached in Prestige 4". Past 4,000, the values stop getting worse.
Why does Showdown dominate high Prestige?
In Solo Showdown, 1st, 2nd and 3rd place still give trophies at Prestige 3 (+3, +2 and +1 between 3,100 and 3,999). Even at 4,000+, 1st gives +2 and 2nd gives +1. Compare that with +1 per 3v3 win. A top-3 finish counts, so you don't need a 91% win rate. It isn't free, though: a 5th-to-10th finish still costs trophies, matches are longer, and results depend heavily on the Brawler and map. The community-reported records on the wiki point the same way: every listed first from Prestige 5 to Prestige 10 was set in Showdown+ (a separate Showdown variant, not regular Solo Showdown).
What changes at Prestige 2 (2,000 Trophies)?
Prestige 2 is the real wall. According to the February 2026 release notes, from 2,000 Trophies up:
- Bot matches: off
- Underdog Trophies: off
- Win-streak Trophies: off (below 2,000 a streak can add up to +10 per win)
- Win-trading protection: stricter
- Player names: shown as "?" (the wiki says this applies when the match average is above 2,000)
Below 2,000 you get all three helpers. The wiki adds that Underdog wins give +5 extra Trophies, and that since the June 30, 2026 update an Underdog loss costs 0 Trophies. Together, these make 1,000–2,000 the most efficient band in the game: a 3v3 win there is worth +10 before bonuses and you only need about a 33–50% win rate to climb, versus 56–71% between 2,000 and 3,000. A strong player can take several Brawlers through it quickly, while one Brawler from 2,000 to 3,000 takes far longer.
How do you reach Prestige 3 fastest?
Use the math above to plan your push:
- Spread first, then specialise. Get every Brawler you enjoy to 1,000 (Gold title, +1 total Prestige each), then pick 2–3 mains for Prestige 2. That's the cheapest way to grow your Battle Card.
- Consider Solo Showdown for Prestige 2 → 3. At 2,800–2,999, a 3v3 win is +4 against −10. In Solo Showdown, 1st–3rd still give +5/+4/+3, but 5th or lower loses 2–12. It pays off only with a Brawler you can reliably place top 4 with on the current maps; if you can't, stay in 3v3 with your best team. Our best Showdown Brawlers for October 2026 list is the place to start.
- Bank streaks before 2,000. Win Streak and Underdog stop counting at 2,000, so take a Brawler to 1,950+ on a good day rather than stopping at 1,800.
- Play meta picks. Check the current Brawl Stars tier list before a long push. A balance change can flip a Brawler's win rate overnight.
- Use the Rush events. The February update expanded Sugar Rush-style "Rush" events to Trophies. When a Trophy Rush is live, wins pay extra, which helps most at Prestige 2 and above.

Can you lose Prestige in Brawl Stars?
No. The release notes say plainly: "Cannot drop to lower Prestiges once achieved." The only exceptions were bugs. In late February 2026, players on r/Brawlstars posted Prestige 1 Brawlers dropping just under 1,000 after losses. Supercell's March 4 maintenance fixed "an issue where a Brawler's Prestige Trophy count could drop below 1000 after losing a Duels match," along with a Free Play exploit that farmed bot matches. A June fix closed a Duels exploit that made Prestige 5 easier to reach.
FAQ
What is Prestige in Brawl Stars? Prestige is a permanent per-Brawler level unlocked at every 1,000 Trophies: Prestige 1 at 1,000, Prestige 2 at 2,000, Prestige 3 at 3,000, with no cap. Once you reach a Prestige you can't drop below it, and there are no seasonal resets. It replaced Trophy Seasons in February 2026.
What do you get at Prestige 1, 2 and 3? Prestige 1 (1,000 Trophies) gives the Brawler's Gold title, Prestige 2 (2,000) gives a Neon Prestige icon, and Prestige 3 (3,000) gives the Brawler's Neon title. Before that you also get an icon and spray at 250, pins at 500 and a 29-Gem skin at 750.
How do I get Neon titles in Brawl Stars? Get that specific Brawler to Prestige 3, which means 3,000 Trophies on it. Each Brawler has its own Neon title, like "Boss of Bosses" for Crow or "Headshots only" for Piper. Equip it from the Battle Card menu in your profile.
Is there a max Prestige in Brawl Stars? No. Prestige keeps going every 1,000 Trophies. The first Prestige 10 Brawler (10,000 Trophies) was reached on September 7, 2026. Trophy gains stop getting worse after Prestige 4, but at +1 per 3v3 win, most players treat Prestige 3 as the realistic goal.
Do Prestige Trophies count for the Trophy Road? Yes. Supercell's release notes say Prestige Trophies are added to the Trophy Road and still count for "Gain Trophy" quests.
What is total Prestige and the Prestige Battle Card? Total Prestige is the sum of every Brawler's Prestige level. It's shown on your profile and Leaderboards, and it unlocks upgraded Battle Cards at 1, 25, 50, 100 and 200 total Prestige.
