Official Delta Force trailer still introducing Veronica Cardozo, codename Martelo, a new Assault operator holding her shield

Quick answer: Delta Force Season Aurora starts on November 10, 2026, the day after Season Reorientation and its Season Pass end on November 9. Team Jade has confirmed one headline addition so far: a new Assault operator, Veronica Cardozo, codename Martelo, whose kit is built around a shield. Her full abilities will be shown in the Season Aurora Dev Stream on October 30 at 8:00 AM PT / 11:00 AM ET (15:00 UTC). Everything else about the season, including maps, weapons and the Season Pass, is still unannounced.

Key takeaways

  • Release date: November 10, 2026. It comes from two official sources: the @DeltaForce_Game post on October 18 and the description of the official Martelo trailer released on October 20.
  • New operator: Martelo (Veronica Cardozo), Assault class. Team Jade's only description of her kit so far is one line: her shield "knocks down everything in between."
  • Dev Stream: October 30, 15:00 UTC. Team Jade lists the European time as 5:00 PM CEST. Europe leaves summer time on October 25, so if the PT and ET times are right, the stream starts at 4:00 PM CET in Berlin and Paris.
  • Reorientation ends November 9. Finish the Season Pass, the Drag & Rescue event and the other season events before then. The 3,900 Delta Tickets giveaway ends sooner, on October 25.
  • No stash wipe has been announced. Season missions and the Season Pass reset. Team Jade has said there are no full progress wipes.

When does Delta Force Season Aurora start?

Season Aurora starts on Tuesday, November 10, 2026. Team Jade announced the date on X on October 18 with a two-line teaser:

"TWO SIDES. ONE LINE. New Season Aurora dawns November 10." — Delta Force Game, official X post (October 18, 2026)

The date was repeated two days later in the description of the official Martelo trailer: "Season Aurora begins November 10."

That fits the current calendar exactly. Season Reorientation went live on September 8, and its Season Pass runs to November 9, 2026 ("Season Pass Period: 9/8~11/9" in the September 6 launch post). Aurora takes over the next day. Reorientation lasts about nine weeks in total, a little shorter than Season Meltdown's 70 days.

What time does it go live? Team Jade hasn't posted a time yet. As a reference point, the last season change, from Meltdown to Reorientation, went like this (all times UTC):

  • 00:30: ranked play moved to the off-season.
  • 01:59: Operations matchmaking closed, and the Market and Auction House were switched off.
  • 02:00: the new season went live.

If Aurora follows the same pattern, expect it in the early hours of November 10 UTC. That's the evening of November 9 in the Americas. Don't plan an Auction House sale around that window, because the market is closed during the switch. The exact maintenance schedule normally appears on the Steam news feed a few days before launch.

Is Season Aurora "Season 12"?

The name Team Jade markets is Aurora. Every global post so far, on X and YouTube, calls it "Season Aurora" with no number.

Players already call it S12, though, and that follows Team Jade's own shorthand. Meltdown was S10, and the Reorientation launch post sold "S11 Supply Packs" and an "S11 Warfare Season Challenge." Aurora is the next season, so S12 is a fair label for it. Just remember that Aurora is the name and S12 is the number. Some sites wrongly titled Reorientation "Season 11", which is the same naming mistake.

One caution if you play outside the global build: Garena runs Delta Force in Southeast Asia, Latin America and the Middle East on its own season calendar. A Garena Martelo teaser does not mean Aurora goes live on Garena on November 10. This guide covers the global PC, console and mobile release run by Team Jade.

Who is Martelo, the new Delta Force operator?

Martelo is Veronica Cardozo, a new Assault operator revealed in the official operator trailer posted on the Delta Force Game YouTube channel on October 20, 2026. Martelo is Portuguese for "hammer". That fits the trailer, which shows her using her shield as a weapon and not only for cover.

This is all Team Jade has officially said about her:

"Veronica Cardozo, codename Martelo. She came for answers—and her shield knocks down everything in between." — Delta Force Game, official Martelo trailer (October 20, 2026)

Here is what the trailer itself shows:

DetailWhat the official trailer confirms
Real nameVeronica Cardozo
CodenameMartelo
ClassAssault (shown on her name card)
Signature gearA large hinged shield with red panels and a mesh viewport
How the shield is usedRaised in first person while she aims her gun through or around it, and swung as a melee weapon in the cinematic
ReleaseWith Season Aurora, November 10, 2026
Ability names and numbersNot announced. Coming in the October 30 Dev Stream

The trailer also carries an on-screen note that the footage is "not indicative of final quality," so treat the gameplay as a preview, not a final kit.

She joins Vyron, D-Wolf, Nox and Tempest in the Assault class. The last two seasonal operators went to other classes: N-Two (Engineer) arrived with Meltdown and Rover (Support) with Reorientation.

What are Martelo's abilities?

We don't know yet, and we'd rather tell you that than make them up. Team Jade has not published her gadget names, cooldowns or damage numbers. "Leak" videos are circulating with ability names, and some are based on the Chinese build, which runs on a different cadence and balance. Those details may change, so we aren't repeating them here.

What players are reacting to is the shield. In the r/DeltaForceGlobal thread on the trailer, one recurring question was why a shield operator sits in Assault and not Engineer:

"So her gadget is a shield that can be used as an anti-tank weapon... and she's an assault instead of an engineer?" — r/DeltaForceGlobal player, trailer discussion thread (October 20, 2026)

That anti-vehicle reading is the community's interpretation of the trailer, not an official ability description. The post that started the thread worried about "yet another operator with smoke ability" in Warfare. Smoke is a real sore point right now, since Rover's irritant smoke arrived only this season. Whether Martelo actually has a smoke tool is one of the things the Dev Stream should settle.

How do you unlock Martelo?

Not announced. For reference, the last two seasonal operators, N-Two (Meltdown) and Rover (Reorientation), were both on the free Season Pass track, so you didn't need to buy anything to unlock them. If Martelo follows that pattern, you'll unlock her by levelling the Aurora Season Pass. Check the Dev Stream before you plan around it.

When is the Season Aurora Dev Stream?

The Season Aurora Dev Stream is on Friday, October 30, 2026, as listed in the trailer description: "8:00 AM PT / 11:00 AM ET / 5:00 PM CEST."

There is a catch with the European time. Central Europe switches from summer time (CEST) to winter time (CET) on October 25, five days before the stream. 8:00 AM PT and 11:00 AM ET both equal 15:00 UTC, and that's 4:00 PM CET, not 5:00 PM. Here's the full conversion, assuming the US times are correct:

RegionLocal start time
Los Angeles (PDT)8:00 AM
New York (EDT)11:00 AM
UTC15:00
London (GMT)3:00 PM
Berlin / Paris (CET)4:00 PM
Moscow (MSK)6:00 PM

If you plan to watch live from Europe, be online by 4:00 PM. You can't be too late that way. If Team Jade meant the 5:00 PM European time, you'll just wait an hour. Past Dev Streams have been announced on @DeltaForce_Game and the official Discord, so check there that morning.

What else is coming in Season Aurora?

Only Martelo and the date are confirmed. The rest is pieced together from Team Jade's own hints. Here is the full picture, sorted by how solid each item is.

Confirmed for Aurora:

  • The November 10 start date.
  • Martelo, the new Assault operator.
  • Teaser key art with the tagline "Two sides. One line." There are two posters, "Across the Line" and "Into the Light". Each shows a lone figure facing an armed squad on a game board. In one the figure holds up a flare, and in the other the figure carries a child. Team Jade hasn't explained the story setup behind them yet.

Strongly hinted:

  • A new Warfare map. Team Jade's 2027 roadmap, presented for the second anniversary and reported on September 28, promised the next Warfare map for November 2026. The map is unnamed. "New Warfare Map" is also one of four options in Team Jade's own Aurora poll, so it's very likely to arrive with the season.
  • Operations map updates, and new operators and loadouts. These are the other poll options. A poll isn't a patch note, so treat them as hints until the Dev Stream.

Not in Aurora at launch, as far as we know:

  • Siege: Valkyrie, the walled-city Operations map that mixes difficulty tiers in one match. It's dated early 2027 on the roadmap.
  • The Tsunami dynamic-map event. It's confirmed, but it has no release date.

What players asked for: Team Jade's October 19 poll on X ("What are you most looking forward to in the new season?") closed with 512 votes:

Poll optionShare of votes
Operations Map Updates30.1%
Operators & Loadouts26.0%
New Warfare Map25.6%
New Appearances18.4%

Operations players narrowly outvoted everyone else. That matches the mood in r/DeltaForceGlobal, where the current complaints are mostly about Operations: queue times on less popular maps, and a thread arguing that Normal runs cost more than they return compared with Easy.

What should you finish before Reorientation ends?

These items have firm end dates from Team Jade's posts. Once they pass, the rewards are gone:

EndsWhatWhy it matters
October 252nd Anniversary Delta Tickets giveaway (up to 3,900)Log in and finish the missions while it lasts. Claim guide
November 7Biscotto Appearance Lucky DrawThe first draw costs 10 Delta Coins or Delta Tickets
November 9Season PassRover's free-track unlock and the Hackclaw - Netrunner skin stop being earnable. Season Pass guide
November 9Drag & Rescue (Warfare), Harmonica, Grove Angler, Free Battlefield, Armory, EclosionEvent-only cosmetics (including Eclosion's Vlinder's Dream set), avatars and Tactical Armament Vouchers

One thing that does not end: Polaris Patrol, the mini-mode where you play as Desmoulins or the Adjutants. Its window runs to January 26, 2027, so it carries over into Aurora.

Will Season Aurora wipe my stash or Tekniq Alloys?

No wipe has been announced for Aurora. Past season changes in Delta Force have reset season missions and the Season Pass, not your stash, your Tekniq Alloys or your operators. When Meltdown launched, the official notes reset "S9 Season Mission Line Progress" and expired temporary Ultimate Safe Box Access and Safe Box Trial Cards. Players' own gear stayed. Team Jade's director has also said publicly that there are no full progress wipes. For the details, see our guide on whether Delta Force wipes.

Two things will change on November 10:

  • The Operations map rotation. The current two-hour schedule is specific to Reorientation (S11), and a new graphic normally ships with the new season. We'll update our map rotation schedule when it does.
  • The operator meta. A new operator plus a season of balance changes means a new operator tier list. We'll re-rank once Martelo's numbers are public.

A note on the economy: Team Jade is ending the season in the middle of its toughest anti-RMT push yet. On October 12 it named queue sniping as a way supplies were being moved between players for real-money trades, and it promised to "fully recover all Tekniq Alloys gained through such transactions." Its weekly bulletin for October 5–11 lists 222,521 account bans and 144,890 confiscations for economic-security violations. A new season does not reset that record. Earn your Alloys in matches and on the Auction House.

FAQ

When does Delta Force Season Aurora come out? Season Aurora starts on November 10, 2026, according to Team Jade's official X account and the Martelo trailer description. Season Reorientation and its Season Pass end the day before, on November 9. The exact go-live hour hasn't been announced. The last season change went live at 02:00 UTC.

Who is the new operator in Delta Force Season Aurora? The new operator is Veronica Cardozo, codename Martelo, an Assault operator built around a shield. Team Jade's official description says she "came for answers—and her shield knocks down everything in between." Her ability names and numbers will be revealed in the October 30 Dev Stream.

What time is the Delta Force Aurora Dev Stream? October 30, 2026 at 8:00 AM PT / 11:00 AM ET, which is 15:00 UTC. Team Jade's description lists 5:00 PM CEST. But Europe moves to winter time on October 25, so 15:00 UTC is 4:00 PM in Berlin and Paris. Tune in at 4:00 PM to be safe.

Is Season Aurora Season 12? The official name is Season Aurora. Players call it S12, following Team Jade's shorthand of S10 for Meltdown and S11 for Reorientation. Global announcements so far use only the name Aurora.

Is Martelo free? Team Jade hasn't said how to unlock her. The previous two seasonal operators, N-Two and Rover, were both on the free Season Pass track, so Martelo may follow the same pattern. That isn't confirmed yet.

Will I lose my stash when Season Aurora starts? No full wipe has been announced, and Team Jade has said there are no full progress wipes. Season missions and the Season Pass reset at each new season, and temporary items such as Safe Box access cards can expire. Past season changes have kept looted gear and Tekniq Alloys, and nothing announced for Aurora says otherwise.
