Season "Reorientation" — billed as the game's 2nd anniversary season — arrives with a brand-new Support operator, Rover, and his military working dog, Clover. More usefully for anyone still grinding: the update that shipped on August 27, 2026 quietly published the entire end-of-Season Meltdown calendar, including a hard expiry date on a currency sitting in most players' inventories right now.
Here is what is officially confirmed, what is not (despite what several sites are already printing as fact), and exactly what you should burn, finish or claim before the servers flip.

One planning note worth flagging: this is a no-guarantee-of-no-downtime situation. Recent weekly updates have all been "no downtime," but season flips are different — Meltdown required a 33.5 GB PC download (roughly a 57.3 GB Steam package). Clear the disk space in advance.
Who is Rover, and what does Clover actually do?

That is it. From the announcement and the accompanying Official Operator Trailer – Rover (published to the official Delta Force channel on August 21), we can confirm:
- Rover is a Support operator. The announcement headline names the class directly: "New Support Operator Rover."
- His real name is Rowan Walsh, following the same codename/real-name convention as N-Two (Gabriel Mercier).
- Clover is a military working dog, shown in the key art wearing a helmet and tactical goggles — a companion, not a weapon skin.
- "Rover heals from afar" points at ranged healing, which would be a genuinely new shape for the Support class.
- "Clover handles the chase" points at a pursuit/tracking function.
Rover joins the Support class alongside Stinger, Toxik, Vlinder and Branko. He is the first operator added since N-Two, the Engineer who launched with Season Meltdown on June 30.
What is NOT confirmed (and what other sites are getting wrong)
This matters, because several outlets are already publishing Rover's exact kit — specific gadget names, ranged-healing mechanics, and claims that Clover is an autonomous AI companion that independently paths toward targets and marks them.
None of that appears in any official Team Jade source. Not in the August 24 announcement, not in the August 27 patch notes, and not in the official trailer description. Team Jade explicitly deferred the details:

Treat every specific ability name you have read this week as unverified until that stream airs. There is also a good reason not to lock in expectations early: on July 9, 2026 Team Jade published a balance philosophy post arguing there are "too many gadgets in active fights, information being exposed too easily," and Season Meltdown itself had already shipped utility nerfs to Morse, Gizmo and Tempest. Is Season Reorientation the same as "Season 11"?
Team Jade has not numbered it. Every official reference — the August 24 announcement, the August 27 update, and the trailer — calls it Season "Reorientation" or the 2nd anniversary season. The word "eleven" and the string "S11" do not appear.

There is a second wrinkle worth clearing up: why is a September season the "2nd anniversary" when Delta Force released on Steam on December 4, 2024? Because the global Steam launch was not the game's first release. Delta Force launched in Mainland China in September 2024, several months before the global early-access build reached Steam. Team Jade has not spelled out which date its anniversary counts from, but the September timing lines up with the original 2024 launch window rather than the December global release.
When does Delta Force Season Meltdown end?
Season Meltdown runs until September 7, 2026, and Reorientation replaces it on September 8. This is the part worth acting on. The August 27 update published a set of hard deadlines, and one of them is earlier than the season flip:

Remember that Limited-Time Delta Tickets are not Delta Coins. The obvious sink: the Fine China Appearance Draw running August 28 – September 26, where the first draw costs 10 Delta Coins or Delta Tickets and the pool includes M4A1, MK4 and P90 weapon appearances. A non-replacement draw with no duplicates is a reasonable place to dump expiring tickets.
What actually happens on season-flip day?
Team Jade has not published the Reorientation transition notes yet, but the S9 → S10 flip gives a precise template. From the official June 27 patch notes:

So, based on the last transition, expect on September 8:
- Season mission progress wipes. Anything unfinished in the S10 Meltdown mission line — including the Investigation Board and the two-style S10 Season Mission badge tied to your final-mission choice — is gone. Finish it this week or lose it.
- Season Safe Box access expires. Ultimate Safe Box Season Access and Safe Box Trial Cards, used or unused, became invalid at the last flip. If you are holding an unused trial card, spend it.
- Ranked closes early. Operations and Warfare ranked went off-season roughly 90 minutes before the update at the last flip.
- The Market and Auction House go offline during the maintenance window. If you have gear listed, it is not selling through the flip — collect and relist after.
What does not happen: your stash is not wiped. This is the single most-repeated piece of misinformation about Delta Force. A keyword sweep of the official Steam news archive finds zero mentions of a stash wipe, and Team Jade's game director has publicly said there are no full progress wipes. What resets is seasonal mission progress and season-duration access items — not your Tekniq Alloy, not your gear, not your Operations level. Claims about an "optional 90-day wipe" trace back to reseller blogs, not to Team Jade.
How to spend the last stretch of Season Meltdown
Eleven days is enough to close out most season objectives if you are deliberate about it:
- Finish the S10 season mission line first. It is the only reward on this list that is genuinely unrecoverable, and the badge has two variants depending on your final-mission choice.
- Push ranked during Home Stretch (Sept 4–7). Double score in both Operations Ranked and Warfare Grade matches, plus BP Intermediate EXP Tokens and Armament Vouchers. If you are close to a Merit threshold, this is the cheapest climb of the season. The Weekend Merit Boost on August 29–30 also doubles Merit on your first three ranked matches.
- Spend Limited-Time Delta Tickets before September 3. Non-negotiable deadline.
- Clear the Tekniq Alloy Shop weekly (Aug 28 – Sept 3) for Quantum Keys, Armament Vouchers and the Advanced Safe Box 7-Day Access Card — though note a 7-day card bought late will straddle the season flip.
