Delta Force Space City Map Guide: Extraction Routes, Keycards & the Reorientation Changes

Space City is Delta Force's industrial research-complex Operations map — a sprawl of launch facilities, labs and testing halls built around a central compound, set in the fictional North African state of Ahsarah. It is one of the densest, most keycard-gated extraction maps in the game, and in the current Season "Reorientation" it got a direct extraction rework that changed how you plan your escape. This guide covers how the map plays, where the high-value loot concentrates behind locked doors, exactly what the Reorientation extraction change does, and how to leave with your bag — and your Tekniq Alloys — intact.

Everything below is grounded in Team Jade's own official event text and the game's confirmed systems. Where a popular "fact" only shows up on reseller or content-farm sites — a specific keycard price, a named vault, a guaranteed drop — this guide flags it as unverified rather than repeating it as truth. On Delta Force specifically, model memory and reseller "loot tables" are frequently wrong, and some still use the retired beta name "Hazard Operations," so treat any precise number you see online as a rough community estimate, not a locked stat.

TLDR: the Space City quick answer

  • What it is: an industrial sci-fi research-and-launch complex — one of six Operations (extraction PvPvE) maps alongside Zero Dam, Layali Grove, Brakkesh, Tide Prison and AZ3 Nuclear Plant.
  • How it plays: tight interiors and a heavily keycard-gated central compound. The best loot sits behind locked doors; the players who profit are the ones who bring the right keycard for the room they're hunting.
  • What changed in Reorientation (official): Team Jade's 9/6 Version Update added a "Space City Extraction Point Adjustment" — "Black Chamber and Buoyancy Lab now feature randomized switch extraction locations, while new routes such as the Central Garden's one-way elevator" give you more exit options. Event period 9/8–10/8.
  • What you're after: loot you can extract and sell for Tekniq Alloys, Ahsarah's in-game currency, on the first-party Auction House and to merchants.
  • Biggest mistake: heading for a fixed exit out of habit. With Black Chamber and Buoyancy Lab extractions now randomized per match, the exit you used last run may not be there this run — read the map every time.

What is Space City in Delta Force?

Space City is an Operations map — the extraction mode where you insert with your own gear, loot, fight AI and other players, and either extract with your spoils or lose everything outside your Safe Box. It is not a Warfare map; the 32v32 combined-arms battles happen elsewhere. Operations is the mode with the economy, the keycards and the risk, and Space City is one of its signature locations.

The layout is a research-and-launch facility: a fortified central compound ringed by labs, test ranges, bridges and support buildings. Named points of interest that players route around include the Black Chamber, Buoyancy Lab, Centrifuge Facility, Test Range, Central Command Building, the Employee Passage corridors, and the landmark structure players call the New Tower of Babel. Exact room contents shift with patches, so this guide treats the geography as the stable thing and the loot inside as variable.

Because so much of the value is locked away, Space City rewards preparation more than reflexes. You decide before you insert which rooms you're going to open, bring the keys for them, and plan a route that touches those rooms on the way to an exit.

What changed in Space City in Season Reorientation?

This is the fresh, verifiable part — and the reason to re-learn the map if you played it last season.

In the 9/6 "Version Update: New Season 'Reorientation'" post, Team Jade listed a "Space City Extraction Point Adjustment" running 9/8–10/8. The official wording:

"Space City has received new extraction updates! Black Chamber and Buoyancy Lab now feature randomized switch extraction locations, while new routes such as the Central Garden's one-way elevator give you more options when planning your extraction. Whether you fight your way through or take a more tactical route, there are now more ways to escape."

Two concrete things to internalise:

  • Black Chamber and Buoyancy Lab extractions are now randomized ("switch") locations. The switch-style extraction isn't a fixed spot you memorise once — its position varies, so you have to check the map in-match rather than running on muscle memory. This is the single biggest behaviour change on the map.
  • Central Garden has a new one-way elevator route. It's a new way out of the central area, but "one-way" means you commit — useful for escaping a fight in the compound, not for repositioning back in.

The event also pays you to engage with it: during the window, playing Space City matches, completing extraction missions and extracting with high-value supplies earns Tactical Armament Vouchers. So for the duration, Space City is both a loot map and a seasonal objective.

Where is the best loot in Space City?

The value concentrates in the keycard-gated interiors of the central compound and its labs — the Black Chamber, Buoyancy Lab, Centrifuge Facility and the Test Range complex are the rooms players fight over. As one of the maps with boss-tier PvE on the rotation, Space City also feeds the Special Class Mezzanine loot system that Zero Dam and AZ3 share in Common/Normal Operations — containing Collectibles and Boss Black Cards — so high-end runs can target that on top of ordinary room loot.

High-value Delta Force loot stacked on secure cases in an Operations raid

The loot loop is the same as every Operations map, and it's where your Tekniq Alloys come from:

  • Insert with gear you can afford to lose. On death you keep only what's inside your Safe Box; everything else drops.
  • Open the rooms you planned for. Space City's best containers are behind locked doors — see the keycard section below.
  • Route toward an exit as you loot, not after. In a map this interior-heavy, the walk to extraction is where most players die.
  • Sell what you extract. List gear on the first-party Auction House for Tekniq Alloys, or vendor it to a merchant for a lower flat price.

A note on the specifics circulating online: many Space City guides publish exact keycard prices, named vault rooms, and fixed drop tables as if they were confirmed. We can't verify those against Team Jade's official notes, and several trace back to reseller sites or a single pre-launch build. Treat any exact Alloy figure you see as a rough community estimate that a patch can change.

How do keycards work in Space City?

Keycards are the core of Space City. They are consumable or limited-use access items that open specific locked doors — manager's offices, labs, server rooms, dormitories and control rooms — that hold the map's densest loot. You acquire them by looting them in raids, and you choose before a run which doors you intend to open.

The practical rules:

  • Match the key to the room, not the other way around. Decide your target room, bring its key, and plan a route that reaches it. Carrying keys for rooms you won't visit is dead weight.
  • Keycard rooms are fight magnets. Every experienced player knows a locked door means loot, so opening one announces you. Open fast, loot fast, and have your exit already chosen.
  • Some gates are navigation, not loot. Certain access cards open shortcuts through the compound rather than a loot room — opening a western gate toward the Buoyancy Lab or Centrifuge Facility, for example. These can be worth it purely for the safer route.

Because Space City's extraction points were just reshuffled, pairing a keycard route with the new randomized exits is the current meta: open your target room, then check the live map for where Black Chamber / Buoyancy Lab extraction landed this match rather than assuming.

How do you extract from Space City?

Delta Force operators inserting under pressure, conveying the risk of the extraction walk

Extraction follows the standard Operations rules, and Space City's density plus the Reorientation switch-extractions make them matter more:

  • Check the map every match. With Black Chamber and Buoyancy Lab now randomized, your exit isn't where it was last run. Open the map after you've committed to a loot route and lock in the nearest viable exit.
  • Some extractions are conditional. Across Operations maps, certain exits only activate when you do something — pull a lever, or escort an objective to a point. Space City has lever- and objective-gated exits (players reference ones near the New Tower of Babel), so don't count on a conditional exit being open by default.
  • Use the one-way routes deliberately. The new Central Garden one-way elevator is an escape valve from the central compound — great for breaking contact, but you can't go back up it.
  • Hold the point. Reaching an extraction isn't instant; you have to survive a short hold. Approach from cover and clear your flanks before you commit.

The mistake that ends good runs here is treating the map like it hasn't changed. If you memorised a Space City exit route in Season Meltdown, re-learn it — the switch extractions specifically break old habits.

Is boosting or buying Tekniq Alloys safe in Delta Force?

No — and Space City is not the place to take that risk. Delta Force runs the most aggressive anti-cheat and anti-RMT enforcement of any game we cover. PC play requires ACE anti-cheat with Secure Boot and TPM 2.0 as a hard check at the Game Lobby, and Team Jade publishes a weekly G.T.I. Security enforcement bulletin. A recent edition (week of September 21–27, 2026) reported 709 accounts hit with 10-year bans — including DMA bans and real-time interceptions — plus 10,573 devices blocked for one year.

Team Jade has stated it profiles for "masked locations and abnormal system environments" — exactly the signal a third party logging into your account from another country produces — and it has publicly named paid-carry sellers as enforcement targets. The safe way to build Tekniq Alloys is the loop in this guide: loot Space City's keycard rooms, extract, and sell on the Auction House. Earned Alloys can't get your account banned; bought ones can.

FAQ

Where is Space City in Delta Force? Space City is one of the six Operations (extraction) maps, played in the Operations mode rather than Warfare. It's an industrial research-and-launch complex set in the fictional state of Ahsarah, built around a fortified central compound ringed by labs and test facilities.

What changed in Space City in Season Reorientation? Team Jade's official 9/6 Version Update added a "Space City Extraction Point Adjustment" (event period 9/8–10/8): Black Chamber and Buoyancy Lab now use randomized switch extraction locations, and a new Central Garden one-way elevator route was added. The stated goal was to give players more ways to plan their escape.

What keycards do you need for Space City? Keycards open specific locked rooms — offices, labs, server rooms and control rooms — that hold the densest loot. You loot them in raids and choose which doors to open before a run. Bring the key for the room you're actually targeting rather than carrying a full set; unused keys are wasted inventory. Exact per-room keycard costs vary by patch and most "price lists" online are unverified community figures.

What is the best loot route in Space City? Target the keycard-gated interiors in and around the central compound — Black Chamber, Buoyancy Lab, Centrifuge Facility and the Test Range — open your planned rooms fast, and route toward an exit as you go. Because Space City feeds the Special Class Mezzanine loot system on Normal, higher-geared squads can also hunt boss-tier loot there.

Can you buy Tekniq Alloys or get a Space City carry safely? No. Delta Force enforces ACE anti-cheat with mandatory Secure Boot and TPM 2.0, publishes weekly ban bulletins (hundreds of 10-year bans and thousands of device blocks per week), and explicitly profiles abnormal login locations and targets paid-carry sellers. Earn Alloys yourself by looting and selling on the in-game Auction House.
