What is Most Beard in Madden 27?
Most Beard is a short, themed MUT program built around the league's best beards. MUT.GG put it this way in its reveal write-up: "Beards are taking over Madden Ultimate Team 27! EA revealed the upcoming Most Beard program on Good Morning Madden, featuring 91 OVR LTDs Keenan Allen, Jason Kelce, and Julian Love, along with six 90 OVR Champions" (MUT.GG, Most Beard preview).
It follows the same structure as recent programs:
- A Welcome Pack player you upgrade for free
- A Field Pass that pays out the upgrade currency
- An H2H event and a CPU event, each with a featured reward player
- Solo challenges for BND (untradeable) program players
- Pack-tier items: LTDs, Champions, Heroes and Elites, with exchange sets for the Champion, Hero and Elite tiers
The new currency is Beard Oil Collectibles. They replace Most Feared's Candy as the program's upgrade material, and their only confirmed use so far is upgrading select reward players to 90 OVR. How do you upgrade Spencer Brown to 90 with Beard Oil?
The 81 OVR Spencer Brown (RT, Bills) in the Welcome Pack is the free headliner, and he's the reason to open the program at all if you don't plan to spend.
- Claim the Welcome Pack. Log in to MUT and open the Most Beard Welcome Pack from your store or rewards. EA hasn't posted a claim deadline, so do it now.
- Run the Most Beard Field Pass. MUT.GG confirms Beard Oil Collectibles come from the Field Pass and from challenges.
- Clear the solo challenges. The CPU challenges pay BND Most Beard players and Beard Oil. That's the most predictable source, with no opponent who can beat you.
- Apply the upgrades to Brown from the program's upgrade screen until he reaches 90 OVR.

What are the Most Beard H2H and CPU event rules?
Both events expire November 12 at 1:30 p.m. ET.
H2H event: 90 OVR Juwan Johnson (TE, Saints)
This is a limited-time House Rules event against real opponents. Rules per MUT.GG:
- 20-yard first downs
- 4-minute quarters
- Full four-quarter games
- All-Madden difficulty
The 20-yard line to gain is the whole game. Short, safe completions that move the chains in normal H2H don't work here. Plan for deep crossers, flood concepts and wheel routes that pick up 15 to 25 yards, and on defense sit in deep zone coverage and make them hit the short stuff underneath. CPU event: 87 OVR Tyler Nubin (SS, Giants)
This is a points-based CPU ladder: each game gets harder as you go, and every game uses the same rules:
- 20+ yard pass = 1 point
- 10+ yard rush = 1 point
- Interception, fumble or sack = steal 2 points
- X-Factors always on
- No kicks or punts
The 2-point steal is the rule that decides games. One sack or one pick swings the score by four points relative to a normal play, so don't force throws into coverage. Take the sure 10-yard run over a contested deep shot. On defense, blitz looks that generate sacks are worth far more than usual. Nubin can also be upgraded to 90 OVR with Beard Oil, which makes him the better long-term card of the two event rewards for most lineups.
Is Most Beard worth grinding?
For free-to-play players, yes, for one week. Your free haul is a 90 OVR tackle, a 90 OVR tight end and a safety you can push to 90. That's three starters by December for no coins, and all of it is locked behind the November 12 deadline.
The H2H event is the hardest part. In a recent r/MaddenUltimateTeam thread, one player summed up the mood after the Halloween program: "The most beard event doesn't yield much candy, is clearly much harder and no champs/ltds recently fit my theme team." That's a fair warning. If you're not comfortable on All-Madden with 20-yard downs, prioritise the CPU event and the solo challenges, where you control the difficulty, and accept that Juwan Johnson may be the one you miss.

Jacoby Brissett carries six team chemistries and Stefon Diggs five, so they slot into more squads than single-team cards like Kelce (Eagles) or Jaylon Johnson (Bears). How much will the 91 OVR LTDs cost?
LTD means limited supply, and the first week of a program is when prices on the Auction House are highest. MUT.GG's live program page lists exchange sets for the Champion, Hero and Elite tiers, so check those recipes before you buy a card you could build from duplicates. Live prices change by the hour, so we won't print a coin figure that would be stale by lunch. Two rules hold up across every Madden 27 program so far:
- Wait if you can. Program cards usually drop in price as supply grows and the next program pulls attention away.
- Coins and Madden Points are separate. MUT coins are earned in-game and spent on the Auction House. Madden Points are bought with real money and spent on packs and other paid content, such as a Premium Field Pass (1,000 Points in Most Feared) or premium Evos. Neither converts into the other.
