The Caustic Venomfang is the big coin-sink mount of the Vaults of Atal'Utek in WoW Midnight Season 2: a green Venom Serpent sold by the vendor Skull of Er'inye for 10,000 Corrosive Coin. There is no drop roll anywhere in the chain, which makes Caustic Venomfang one of the few Season 2 mounts that can be flatly guaranteed. The farm at timesaver.gg starts at $43.99 and ends with the mount purchased and sitting in your journal.
How to get Caustic Venomfang in WoW Midnight
Caustic Venomfang is bought from Skull of Er'inye, the vendor standing next to the Altar of Corrosion in the Vaults of Atal'Utek, for 10,000 Corrosive Coin. The coins come from the zone's activity loop — Temple Patrols, Temple Strikes and Temple Incursions — plus the weekly quest Purging the Vaults. Collect 10,000, talk to the skull, and the mount is yours.
Where 10,000 Corrosive Coins come from
Corrosive Coin is the phantasmal token the Amani spirits of the Vaults deal in, and every source of it sits inside that one zone:
- Temple Patrols — small open-world objectives that start every 10 minutes and are soloable;
- Temple Strikes — events for 3 to 5 players, one step up from Patrols;
- Temple Incursions — 10 to 20 player assaults that finish with an Ancient Foe boss;
- Purging the Vaults — the weekly meta quest, worth a flat 600 Corrosive Coin plus Coffer Key Shards and Zul'jarra's Forces reputation;
- Zone talents — Venomous Hunt makes venom-enhanced enemies drop coins, and Corroded Grounds pays coins for gathering nodes in Atal'Utek.
Coin income also scales as the farm goes: collecting 5, 10, 15 and 20 Corrosive Souls unlocks Corrosive Spirit I–IV, boosting coin gains by 25%, 50%, 75% and finally 100%. Blizzard has not published per-activity coin values or any daily cap, so we will not quote fake math — the only hard number on record is the 600-coin weekly quest. One thing worth knowing before you budget: Corrosive Coins also fuel the Altar of Corrosion zone-power system, where every Spirit Corrosion point costs progressively more, so the 10,000 the mount needs competes directly with player power. Our farm delivers the full 10,000 on top of whatever you want to keep spending at the Altar.
What's included
- The full 0 to 10,000 Corrosive Coin farm, or a cheaper top-up if you are already past 5,000;
- Caustic Venomfang bought from Skull of Er'inye and learned — account-wide, Apprentice Riding is enough;
- The weekly Purging the Vaults quest completed on every reset the order spans;
- Corrosive Souls collected along the way, pushing Corrosive Spirit ranks that speed up the farm itself;
- Any gear, Zul'jarra's Forces reputation and Coffer Key Shards earned during the sessions stay with you;
- Self-play or piloted at the same price, remote self-play for 30% more.
Options explained
Two scopes cover the two situations buyers arrive in, and the speed tiers control how fast we pick the order up.
- Full farm — $43.99: zero to 10,000 coins plus the vendor purchase;
- Top-up — $24.99: you already hold 5,000 or more coins and we finish the rest;
- Speed — Standard, Express (+20%) or Super Express (+40%) move your order up the pickup queue and add daily session time.
Self-play, piloted or remote
Piloted is what most buyers pick for a repetitive open-world grind: one of our farmers runs the Patrol, Strike and Incursion loop on your character during agreed hours, with a VPN matched to your region. Self-play is the default and costs the same — you stay on your own character inside our farm group, the coins land on you, and our players keep the loop moving at full speed. Self-play remote adds 30% and keeps your own client open through remote-desktop software while we direct the farm.
Requirements
You need a level 90 character on a live retail realm, EU or NA. The Vaults of Atal'Utek is an open-world zone with no lockouts, so the farm runs any day of the week; the only weekly-gated piece is Purging the Vaults, which resets Tuesday 15:00 UTC in the US and Wednesday 04:00 UTC in Europe. For piloted orders we need account access for the farm hours; self-play orders share nothing.
How long it takes
Because Blizzard publishes no per-activity coin values, any suspiciously precise ETA is made up. What we can say from our own farm sessions since Season 2 opened on 18 August: a full 0-to-10,000 order typically completes in one to two weeks of daily Vaults sessions, trending faster as Corrosive Spirit ranks stack toward +100% coin gain. A 5,000-coin top-up lands correspondingly sooner. The same sessions naturally push other Vaults goals: the Assault the Vault meta for the Venomous Coiler ticks along during Patrols and Incursions, the quick Spirit of Tok'jara group quest is a one-session add-on in the same zone, and hunters of the Prey system can pair this with Preyhunter's Fury, the other big currency mount of Season 2.
