Emerald Skyfang Mount

Emerald Skyfang Mount — Pro Poison Patroller

  • 250/250 Patrols
  • Emerald Skyfang
  • Piloted or Self-play

The Emerald Skyfang is the green wind serpent behind the single largest counter in WoW Midnight Season 2: 250 Temple Patrols in the Vaults of Atal'Utek. A full farm at timesaver.gg costs $117.99 and runs until the achievement Pro Poison Patroller reads 250/250, at which point Emerald Skyfang is added to your mount journal. The mount is guaranteed — the price here buys time, not luck.

How to get Emerald Skyfang in WoW Midnight

Emerald Skyfang is awarded by the achievement Pro Poison Patroller, whose only criterion is completing 250 patrols within the Vaults of Atal'Utek. These are Temple Patrols, the entry tier of the Vaults' public-event loop: new patrols spawn every 10 minutes, they are soloable, and the counter is account-wide. Reach 250 and the mount is granted instantly.

What Temple Patrols are — and why 250 is a wall

The Vaults of Atal'Utek is the open-world sub-zone beneath the Coiled Isle, entered through three gates, with no flying inside. Its event loop runs in tiers — Temple Patrols feed into Temple Strikes, which feed into Temple Incursions — and Patrols are the bottom rung: frequent, short and easy. Each new patrol is marked by a cogwheel vignette on the map and can be completed solo with ease.

The difficulty is not the content, it is the arithmetic. Patrols spawn on a 10-minute cadence, so even a farmer who catches every single spawn and clears it on time cannot bank more than about six per hour. That puts the floor for 250 patrols at 40+ hours of active farming — before travel, before contested spawns, before real life. This is exactly the kind of counter our farmers grind in shifts while you play something you actually enjoy. And because the counter is account-wide, every patrol we clear is banked permanently — there is no lockout to waste, no weekly cadence to plan around, and no way to lose progress. The farm simply resumes each session where the last one stopped, on whichever of your characters is best positioned for it.

What's included

  • All 250 Temple Patrols, farmed until the Pro Poison Patroller counter is full — or just the remainder if your account already has progress;
  • The Emerald Skyfang flying mount, granted the moment the achievement completes;
  • 10 achievement points and whatever the patrols themselves pay out along the way, all kept on your character;
  • Overlap credit: patrols completed here also progress Roll the Patrol, one of the ten sub-achievements of the Assault the Vault meta;
  • Piloted by default, self-play at the same price, remote self-play for 30% more;
  • Express and Super Express farming schedules for 20% or 40% more.

Options explained

  • All 250 Temple Patrols — the base package at $117.99. The counter is account-wide, so if you are already partway there, message support with your current number for a pro-rated quote;
  • Completion method — piloted, self-play at the same price, or remote self-play (+30%);
  • Speed — Standard runs the farm in regular daily sessions; Express (+20%) and Super Express (+40%) buy longer shifts and a front-of-queue start, which is what actually compresses a 40-hour counter.

Self-play, piloted or remote

Piloted is the default for this SKU, and honestly the sane choice: a 250-patrol counter is repetitive by design, and our farmer grinds it in daily sessions while you keep your evenings. Self-play costs the same — you run patrols on your own character alongside our team, useful if you want the Vaults gear and coins to accumulate while you play. Self-play remote adds 30% and keeps every session on your own client through remote-desktop software.

Requirements

A level 90 character on a live retail realm in EU or NA. Temple Patrols are solo-friendly entry-tier content, so there is no gear score, group or reputation gate on the achievement itself — the Vaults are open group-content terrain, and our farmers handle anything that wanders into the patrol path. There are no lockouts and no daily cap on the counter published anywhere, so the only limits are the 10-minute spawn timer and hours in the day.

How long it takes

Honest math, no marketing: 250 patrols at a 10-minute spawn cadence is a minimum of roughly 40 hours of active farming, and no service can shrink the timer itself. On a Standard schedule of daily sessions the farm typically completes in 2–3 weeks; Express and Super Express compress that toward 1–2 weeks by running longer shifts. You will see the counter climb day by day in your achievement pane — progress is visible, steady and guaranteed to end at a mount.

Collectors working the same model family should note the recolors: the Topaz Skyfang comes from Coiled Isle rare drops on the surface above, and the Violet-Backed Skyfang is sold by Jan'sari the Watchful at Renown 19 of Zul'jarra's Forces. And since you will be living in the Vaults anyway, the Venomous Coiler meta and the cheap Auriferous Venomfang treasure run pair naturally with this farm.

Frequently asked questions

  • Pro Poison Patroller, a single-criterion achievement: complete 250 patrols within the Vaults of Atal'Utek. The counter is account-wide, the reward is the Emerald Skyfang flying mount, and it is granted instantly at 250/250. There is no RNG anywhere — it is purely a volume grind against a 10-minute spawn timer.

  • Temple Patrols are the entry tier of the Vaults of Atal'Utek public-event loop, beneath the Coiled Isle. A new patrol spawns every 10 minutes, appears as a cogwheel vignette on the map, and can be completed solo with ease. Patrols feed into Temple Strikes and Incursions, but only patrol completions advance this counter.

  • Yes. Emerald Skyfang is an achievement reward, not a drop, so there is no luck involved and no rarity meter needed. Every completed patrol adds one tick to an account-wide counter, and the mount lands automatically at 250. The only variable in this service is time, which is exactly what you are buying back.

  • Because of the spawn timer, not the difficulty. Patrols appear on a 10-minute cadence, so even a farmer catching every single spawn banks about six per hour — putting the floor for 250 at roughly 40 hours of active play. No boost can shrink the timer; we compress the calendar by farming in long daily shifts.

  • On the Standard schedule, daily farming sessions complete the counter in about 2 to 3 weeks. Express (+20%) and Super Express (+40%) buy longer shifts and a front-of-queue start, typically landing in 1 to 2 weeks. You can watch the counter climb in your achievement pane throughout — progress is steady and fully visible.

  • Yes. The counter is account-wide and your existing progress counts in full, so we only farm the remainder. Message support with your current Pro Poison Patroller number before ordering and you will get a pro-rated quote instead of the full 250-patrol price. Progress made on any of your characters counts toward the same counter.

  • Piloted is the default: a 250-patrol counter is repetitive by design, and most customers prefer to hand it off and check the counter weekly. Self-play costs the same and suits players who want the Vaults loot and currencies accumulating while they play. Remote self-play adds 30% and keeps everything on your own client.

  • A level 90 character on a live retail realm in EU or NA — nothing else. Temple Patrols are soloable entry-tier content with no gear, group, lockout or reputation requirement, and no published daily cap on the counter. The Vaults have no flying inside, but ground routing is our farmers' problem, not yours.

  • Nicely, yes. Patrols completed for this counter also progress Roll the Patrol, one of the ten sub-achievements of the Assault the Vault meta behind the Venomous Coiler. If both mounts are on your list, run this farm first or order them together — the patrol hours are shared instead of paid twice.
