Hexflame Reaver is the Coiled Isle mount you cannot camp. It drops from Ral'kala, Terror of the Isle — not a timer rare but a boss you summon yourself, with Ossified Relics at a Haunted Brazier during a Nightmare-mode Prey hunt. The until-drop farm at timesaver.gg is $197.99 flat: we manufacture the summons and kill Ral'kala in every available hunt window on your character until Hexflame Reaver is in your journal.
How to get Hexflame Reaver in WoW Midnight
Hexflame Reaver drops from Ral'kala, Terror of the Isle, the summoned Nightmare Prey boss of the Coiled Isle. You unlock access through the Prey storyline, gather Ossified Relics, then use them at a Haunted Brazier during a Nightmare-mode Prey hunt to summon and kill Ral'kala. The drop is not guaranteed and its rate is not published.
Summoning Ral'kala: relics, braziers and Nightmare hunts
This farm has a supply chain, which is what separates it from the isle's ordinary rare routes. Nobody waits for Ral'kala to spawn — attempts are built by hand, in three stages.
- Unlock. Access to Ral'kala is opened during the Prey storyline questline. If your character has not finished it, we complete the unlock as part of the order at no extra charge.
- Fuel. The summon consumes Ossified Relics, found scattered across the Coiled Isle; from rank 3 of the Preyhunter's Journey, world quests completed during a Nightmare hunt on the isle also start rewarding them. Our hunters bank relics continuously so no window is ever wasted for lack of fuel.
- Summon and kill. During a Prey hunt, the relics are used at a Haunted Brazier to call Ral'kala, Terror of the Isle, who is then fought on Nightmare mode — the same mode named by the kill achievements One, Two, Ral'kala's Coming for You and its 50-kill sequel Nine, Ten, Never Sleep Again. A fifty-kill achievement is Blizzard telling you plainly this boss is designed to be farmed on repeat.
What no one can tell you is the drop chance: it is not published, and the mount is explicitly not a guaranteed drop. That is why this SKU is a flat until-drop contract per summon-capable character, not a per-kill menu.
What's included
- The Prey storyline unlock checked and completed on your character if it is missing;
- Continuous Ossified Relic gathering, including Nightmare-hunt world quests once Preyhunter's Journey rank 3 opens that source;
- A Ral'kala summon and Nightmare kill in every available hunt window until Hexflame Reaver drops — the drop is the only completion condition;
- Progress toward One, Two, Ral'kala's Coming for You and the 50-kill Nine, Ten, Never Sleep Again along the way;
- All loot, currency and quest rewards generated during the farm;
- Piloted by default, self-play at the same price, remote self-play for 30% more, Express and Super Express for 20% or 40% more.
Options explained
- Until-drop Ral'kala farm — $197.99 once, covering unlock, relic supply and every summon until the mount is learned;
- Completion method — piloted, self-play, or remote self-play at +30%;
- Speed — Standard, Express (+20%) or Super Express (+40%). On this farm speed means priority pickup and a relic bank deep enough that no summon window on your character ever passes unused — the roll itself cannot be rushed.
Self-play, piloted or remote
Piloted is the default because the farm's rhythm is dictated by Nightmare hunt windows, and those are scattered across the day rather than sitting politely in your evening. A hunter who is already on the isle when a window opens converts far more of them than any schedule-bound player can. Self-play costs the same: you play your own character, we bring the kill group and call the brazier summon each time. Self-play remote adds 30% and keeps everything on your own client over remote-desktop software.
Requirements
A level 90 character on a live retail realm, EU or NA, with access to the Coiled Isle — live since 18 August 2026 in North America and 19 August in Europe. The Prey storyline unlock is required to face Ral'kala, and it is included in the order if you do not have it. There is no raid lockout involved; attempts are limited only by hunt windows and relic supply. Piloted orders run behind a region-matched VPN. The mount itself is an epic account-wide flying mount.
How long it takes
No fixed ETA, and deliberately so. Attempt cadence here is not daily-reset arithmetic like the isle's rare mounts — it is bound to Nightmare hunt windows and the relic stock we bring into them, which is exactly what our Prey teams optimize. With an unpublished rate, the honest promise is the one we make: every summon window on your character gets used, from the day the farm starts until the day the reaver drops.
Related chases on the same coastline: the hunts that fuel this farm also pay Remnants of Anguish toward Preyhunter's Fury, so the two orders compound. And between hunt windows the isle's daily rare pool rolls Topaz Skyfang and Ruby Writhe, while the Vaults below offer the guaranteed Emerald Skyfang grind — four mounts that share one flight point with this one.
