Enchanting Leveling

Buy WoW TBC Anniversary Enchanting Leveling

  • 1 - 375
  • Ring Enchants
  • No Spec Needed

Enchanting 1-375 is $70.33, or $31.03 for the Outland half if you are already at 300.

The payoff is the ring enchants, and nobody else gets one. An enchanter can enchant both of their own rings — Enchant Ring - Stats (+4 all stats), Spellpower (+12), Healing Power (+20 healing) and Striking (+2 weapon damage). That is a permanent bonus no other profession can match, and it is why raiders carry enchanting through every phase.

Where the formula actually comes from: Enchant Ring - Stats is bought for 20 gold from Nakodu, the Lower City Quartermaster, at Honored. It used to be a Scale of the Sands reward — that is the stale fact half the internet still repeats.

The three walls we take off your hands:

  • 265-285 — roughly 200 Dream Dust for shield enchants, the worst stretch in Azeroth;
  • 320-340 — about 50 Greater Planar Essence, and you cannot dust your way past it;
  • 351-365 — around 240 Arcane Dust plus 20 more Greater Planar Essence. This is where the gold goes.

No specialisation exists — enchanting has no branches in TBC, so there is nothing to pick and nothing to regret. Master trainers are in Shattrath: High Enchanter Bardolan in Lower City is neutral, with Aldor and Scryer trainers for their own side.

One thing to plan for: enchanting has no gathering profession behind it. The materials come from disenchanting, which is why this is the most auction-house-dependent skill in the game and the most tedious to level yourself.

Frequently asked questions

  • Because enchanters can enchant their own rings, and no other profession gets a ring enchant at all — +4 all stats, +12 spell power, +20 healing or +2 weapon damage on both rings.

  • No. Enchanting has no branches, so there is no choice to make and nothing to pay to unlearn later.

  • Nakodu, the Lower City Quartermaster in Shattrath, sells it for 20 gold at Honored. Pages that list it as a Scale of the Sands reward are quoting a pre-2.3 game.

  • 265-285 on Dream Dust, 320-340 on Greater Planar Essence, and 351-365 on roughly 240 Arcane Dust. The Outland-only option skips the first of those.
