- What is the best leveling gear in WoW Forever?
- It depends on your class, spec, level and faction. Pick your class and spec, set your level and faction, and the gear window shows the best item for each slot that you can get at that level, with the quest, dungeon boss, vendor or profession that gives it.
- How are the best-in-slot items picked?
- For every slot we score each item you can get at that level by your spec’s stat weights and pick the highest score. Only quest rewards, dungeon boss drops, drops from a specific mob, vendor items and crafted gear count; random world drops, raid gear, PvP and reputation rewards and profession-only items are left out. If no item adds anything for the spec, the slot says No clear upgrade.
- Why do Alliance and Horde get different gear?
- Quest rewards are faction specific, and so are some vendors. Dungeon drops and crafted items are the same for both factions. Switch the faction toggle to see the gear for your side.
- Is the item data from WoW Forever or Classic?
- From WoW Forever. Stats, required levels and sources come from the Wowhead World of Warcraft: Forever database and the Forever game client, checked 3 November 2026. Forever changed many Classic items, and where they differ the Forever version is used.
