Quick answer: Delta Force has eight Operations bosses across six maps. Saeed runs Zero Dam. Reis is on Layali Grove. The Blue Eagle HAAVK-64 helicopter patrols Brakkesh. When Space City's commander spawns, it's either Desmoulins or Hudson, with equal odds. Warden Ghroth holds Tide Prison, where Raven appears through two special operations. Neural Device Agent H1000 hunts players on AZ3 Nuclear Plant. On Zero Dam, players suggest clearing Saeed's guards first, using smoke, and fighting him on ground you picked. This guide covers Season Reorientation (September 8 – November 9, 2026) up to the October 22 Halloween update.
Key takeaways
- 8 bosses, 6 maps. Every Operations map has at least one boss. Space City's commander slot rolls one of two bosses, and Tide Prison has a second boss (Raven) behind special operations.
- Loot goes to whoever fights. Since September 2025, Operations loot ownership "is determined based on enemy eliminations and assists. Non-owners cannot directly claim loot." If you third-party a boss fight without a kill or assist, you wait for a timer or for the owner to finish looting.
- Zero Dam and AZ3 have a boss mezzanine. On Common and Normal difficulty, Warlord and Special Class loot shows up in a mezzanine that holds Collectibles and Boss Black Cards.
- Two bosses are now playable. Fiery Owl Hunt let squads play as Saeed in early 2026. Polaris Patrol lets you play as Desmoulins from October 16, 2026 to January 26, 2027.
- Halloween is Raven's Deal. The Raven's Deal Operations event runs October 23 – November 9.
Which bosses are in Delta Force?
This table lists every boss Team Jade has named in its official patch notes, the map each one is tied to, and the detail that changes how you fight them.
| Boss | Map | Faction | What makes the fight different | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Saeed (Fiery Owl) | Zero Dam | Ahsarah Guard | Elite guard patrols the Dam Interior; aggressive pusher | Nov 2025 notes |
| Reis | Layali Grove | Ahsarah side | Also the contact for the Bounty: Breaking Waves boat task | Sep 2026 notes |
| Blue Eagle HAAVK-64 | Brakkesh | Haavk | Two-pilot helicopter; crashes near where it's shot down and drops a Flight Case | Apr 2025 notes |
| Desmoulins | Space City | Haavk | One of two possible Space City commanders | Apr 2026 notes |
| Hudson | Space City (Dock) | Haavk (radical wing) | Surge Squad guards and a support helicopter | Jan 2026 notes |
| Warden Ghroth | Tide Prison | Haavk | Drops a one-match card that opens a high-value room | Sep 2025 notes |
| Raven | Tide Prison (special operations) | Ahsarah | Found through the Ravenhunter and Starslayer operations | Sep 2025 notes |
| Neural Device Agent H1000 | AZ3 Nuclear Plant | Haavk | Hunts high-threat players instead of guarding a room | Jun 2026 notes |
Team Jade sometimes moves bosses around for limited events. Since 2025 it has sent Saeed to Layali Grove, Reis to Zero Dam, Raven to AZ3, and Saeed and Reis to Space City's CEO Office. If a boss shows up somewhere this table doesn't list, check the current event banner first.
Who is Saeed and how do you kill him on Zero Dam?
Saeed is the Zero Dam boss and, for most new players, the first boss they meet. In the story he is an Ahsarah chieftain whose fighters are the Fiery Owl Guard. The guard includes Flamethrower and Rocketeer units. In November 2025 Team Jade made him harder: "Saeed has assembled his elite guard to patrol the Dam Interior. Saeed is now more aggressive—proceed with caution!"
Players asking how to beat him on r/DeltaForceGlobal this week got the same few answers. Most come back to one idea: pick where and how the fight happens.
- Clear the guards first. One player says they can knife the machine gunner and the shield carrier, and that Saeed is the hard part. Kill the escorts so you only have one threat to watch.
- Hold a position and let him come. One player put it simply: "Why run to him, when he is one who should come to you?"
- Smoke, then close in. The most common answer in the thread is a melee weapon, with smoke first. Players warn it takes a lot of knife hits and that getting close without dying is the hard part, so only try it once his guards are down.
- Bring ammo that can get through his armor. Players say high-tier rounds to the head kill him in roughly two to four hits. That's a community estimate, not an official number. Our Delta Force ammo and armor penetration guide explains which tiers break which armor classes.
- Plan the exit before the fight. Your loot is only safe once you extract. Gunfire around the dam pulls in other squads. Know your nearest extract from our Zero Dam loot and extraction guide before you start.
"Why run to him, when he is one who should come to you?" — r/DeltaForceGlobal player, "Is there any reliable way to kill Saeed in the Zero Dam easy?" (October 2026)
What Saeed drops: On Common and Normal Zero Dam, boss and Special Class loot goes into the Special Class Mezzanine, which holds Collectibles and Boss Black Cards (official June 2026 notes). Zero Dam also has Operation Gold, a task chain where Raven raids the dam's vault. The April 2026 dev note says that once you're inside, "you have a limited window before Raven vents hydrogen gas into the room." You can grab a safe haul and leave, or stay greedy and take escalating damage.
Who is the Layali Grove boss?
Layali Grove's boss is Reis, Saeed's partner in several of the game's events. The September 17, 2026 patch fixed "an issue where two Reis could occasionally spawn on Layali Grove." That patch also confirms he is still tied to the map in Reorientation. In the Layali Grove 2.0 rework he is also the contact for the High Value - Bounty: Breaking Waves flagship task (announced as "Bounty: Wave Breaker"). In it you steal an Assault Boat from the Haavk Underground Dock for him and extract it. Our Layali Grove 2.0 map guide covers the river routes the boat opens.
How do you take down the Blue Eagle helicopter on Brakkesh?
Brakkesh's boss is a vehicle: the Blue Eagle HAAVK-64 attack helicopter. It has two pilots. Team Jade lowered their HP in January 2025. After you shoot it down, the crash site logic now "prioritize[s] locations closer to where the helicopter was shot down". During Operation Broken Wings it always lands at the helipad. The wreck carries a Flight Case of loot. Team Jade fixed bugs that left that case empty in May and again in September 2026. Bring anti-vehicle tools or a squad that can focus fire. Then get to the crash site fast, because it pulls in every squad that saw it go down.
Who are the Space City bosses, Desmoulins and Hudson?
Space City's commander slot can roll either of two Haavk bosses. The April 2026 notes say: "The overall spawn probability remains unchanged, with Desmoulins and Hudson having an equal chance to appear."
- Security Director Anais Desmoulins is the original Space City boss. Team Jade toned her down in January 2025 by cutting her suicide vehicles' HP, her aim speed and her tank missile rate. She is now best known as the playable boss in Polaris Patrol (see below).
- Efficiency Director Hudson arrived with Season Morphosis on February 3, 2026. He "will appear in the Space City Dock area, with his Guard forces patrolling everywhere." His Surge Squad escort has been nerfed twice. In March 2026 Team Jade cut the headshot damage they deal to players (multiplier 1x to 0.8x) and lowered their accuracy. On September 9, 2026 they got "more vulnerable moments" during reloads, turns and between bursts, and they can no longer lock onto targets through walls. The October 22 Halloween update fixed his Hudson Guard helicopter reaching unbalanced positions. On Hard, Hudson drops red-quality backpacks, red loot and Hudson Boss Tokens more often.
Our Space City map, extraction and keycards guide shows where the Dock and the CEO Office sit on the map.
Who is the Tide Prison boss?
Warden Ghroth replaced Raven as the Tide Prison boss in Season War Ablaze (September 2025). Team Jade writes that he "stalks the dark corridors of Tide Prison, ruthlessly maintaining order." His drop is the reason to fight him. The Ghroth Judgement Card "opens any one of three high-value rooms." It can't be extracted and only works in the current match, so use it before you leave. The area around the Warden Office also got extra containers when he arrived. Our Tide Prison loot and extraction guide covers the rest of the map.
Where do you fight Raven?
Raven arrived in July 2025 as Tide Prison's first boss: "the former Ahsarah king's most cherished and brilliant son," betrayed and jailed. When the Warden took over, Team Jade moved Raven into Tide Prison's Ravenhunter and Starslayer operations, where you pick a side. His ballistic vest drop was upgraded at the same time, and he now also drops an Experimental Serum (current match only). Raven also leads Operation Gold on Zero Dam.
For Halloween he is the face of Raven's Deal (October 23 – November 9, 2026). "Raven's Deal: First Call" adds "a brand-new in-match mechanic" in Operations. "Raven's Deal" rewards successful extractions with supplies above a set value. Both pay Major Event Tokens for the Trickster Store. Team Jade hasn't said whether Raven himself shows up in matches during the event, so don't count on it.
How do you deal with H1000 on AZ3?
AZ3 Nuclear Plant's boss, Neural Device Agent H1000, is built to break the usual boss pattern. Team Jade's AZ3 design note describes him as "the plant's security chief, transformed through Havvk technology into a mobile combat threat." Most bosses wait in a room. H1000 "can pursue high-threat Operators, flank, use smoke, fire a tranquilizer dart, and close distance when you are least comfortable with it."
"Many boss encounters begin when you enter a place. H1000 works differently... being hunted should feel different from finding a boss." — Team Jade, Behind AZ3 — Designing a Nuclear Crisis for Operations (July 1, 2026)
Three things follow from that note:
- Bring a medic. Team Jade says "Medic Operators have a meaningful role when his dart appears." Support Operators who can clear debuffs or revive quickly keep the squad alive.
- Listen for him. His "music and behavior are designed to create recognition." When you hear his cue, stop looting and set up.
- Expect him to come to you. He goes after high-threat Operators. Team Jade doesn't say exactly what counts as high-threat, but it's safest to assume a squad that's been fighting will draw him in. Plan your radiation exposure and your exit together. Our AZ3 Nuclear Plant guide covers both.
AZ3 Easy unlocks at Operations Level 9 and Normal at Level 14. Normal costs 112,500 Tekniq Alloys to enter, so dying to H1000 costs a lot more there.
Can you play as a boss in Delta Force?
Yes, and right now you can. Polaris Patrol puts you in charge of Squad Desmoulins. It runs from October 16, 2026 00:00 UTC to January 26, 2027 02:00 UTC on Space City – Normal, AZ3 – Normal and Space City – Hard. The rules, from the October 15 notes:
| Requirement | Detail |
|---|---|
| Unlock | Finish the Desmoulins File, which unlocks at Operations Level 33 (choose and complete 3 of 5 mission branches) |
| Entry cost | One Security Director's Work Badge per match as Desmoulins |
| Badge price | 250,000 Tekniq Alloys each from the Supply Station. Buy 4 at first, then 1 more every 21 hours, up to 8 stored |
| Squadmates | Adjutants (Athos Leal, Aramis Orgueil) are free but need a Desmoulins in the squad |
| Counterplay | G.T.I. players who kill Desmoulins can loot her mezzanine for the red collectibles Petite Madame or Requin Model |
Desmoulins fights with a Neural-Controlled Vehicle (MG, grenade launcher, Threat Imaging System, Seeker Bomb Vehicle). Her Weakness Analysis slows enemy armor repair and healing. Our Polaris Patrol guide covers it in full. Before that, Fiery Owl Hunt (Season Morphosis, early 2026) let squads play as Saeed and his Flamethrower and Rocketeer guards.
What do bosses drop and who gets the loot?
- Loot ownership: Since September 2025, Operations loot belongs to the players who earned it through "enemy eliminations and assists. Non-owners cannot directly claim loot." Some non-damage gadgets also count as an assist, and rescuing the owner shares access. Everyone else can only open it after a timer, after the owner finishes looting, or with the owner's approval.
- No junk ammo: The same patch made all bosses drop more supplies and stop dropping "ammo for weapons they don't carry."
- Boss Black Cards: These come from bosses and Special Class enemies in the Zero Dam and AZ3 mezzanines, and during Black Card events.
- Single-match stimulants: The November 2025 update added two drops "obtainable from Bosses or Special Classes": Haavk Neurofluid – Ultra Form, which lights your screen edge in the direction of anyone aiming at you for 180 seconds, and Haavk Neuro-Analgesic, which gives Pain Relief for 240 seconds.
Can you pay someone to farm bosses for you?
Don't. Team Jade enforces hard against real-money trading and paid services. Its weekly G.T.I. Security bulletins list account bans, confiscated gains and device bans. In September 2026 it described busting a cheat ring that included studios selling paid carry services. Boss kills are worth learning yourself: the drops only pay off if you can get them home.
FAQ
How many bosses are in Delta Force? Eight across six Operations maps: Saeed (Zero Dam), Reis (Layali Grove), the Blue Eagle HAAVK-64 helicopter (Brakkesh), Desmoulins and Hudson (Space City, one or the other), Warden Ghroth and Raven (Tide Prison) and Neural Device Agent H1000 (AZ3 Nuclear Plant).
Who is the boss of Zero Dam in Delta Force? Saeed, leader of the Fiery Owl Guard. His elite guard patrols the Dam Interior, and since November 2025 he plays more aggressively.
What is the easiest way to kill Saeed? Players suggest killing his escorts first, then holding a position and letting him push you. Some use smoke and then finish him with a melee weapon. Trading shots with him in the open is the risky option.
Where does Hudson spawn in Space City? In the Space City Dock area, with his guards patrolling the map. Space City's commander is either Hudson or Desmoulins, with equal odds.
What does the Warden drop in Tide Prison? The Ghroth Judgement Card. It opens any one of three high-value rooms, can't be extracted and only works in that match.
Is Raven in the Halloween event? Raven's Deal (October 23 – November 9, 2026) is Raven's Halloween event. It adds a new in-match mechanic and extraction-value missions for Trickster Store tokens. Team Jade hasn't confirmed that Raven spawns as an extra boss during it.
Can I play as Desmoulins? Yes, in Polaris Patrol until January 26, 2027. You need Operations Level 33, the finished Desmoulins File and a 250,000-Alloy Work Badge for each match.
The bottom line
Learn one boss at a time, and start with Saeed. Zero Dam is where most players start, and his fight teaches the habits every boss needs: clear the guards, pick the ground, bring ammo that penetrates and plan the exit. After that, try the Warden for his room card, then H1000 once your squad can handle AZ3 radiation. If you'd rather be the boss, Polaris Patrol is live until late January.
