Modern Warfare 4 Beta Rewards: All 8 Unlocks & How to Reach Level 30 Fast (2026)

The Modern Warfare 4 Open Beta hands out eight tiered cosmetic rewards between Player Level 1 and Level 30 — and once the Open Beta ends at 10:00 AM PT on September 1, 2026, they are gone for good. Everything you unlock carries into the full game at launch on October 23, so the two-day Weekend Two window is your only shot at the "Dread Tiger" Operator Skin and the "Beta Forged" blueprint.

This guide lists all 8 Modern Warfare 4 Beta Rewards with their exact unlock levels, the bonus rewards outside the main track (Twitch Drops, Mobility Course, Combat Record), and the fastest way to grind from Level 1 to Level 30 before the clock runs out.

Quick answer: MW4 Beta Rewards at a glance

  • What: 8 tiered cosmetic rewards unlocked by hitting Player Levels 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 23, 26 and 30 in the Modern Warfare 4 Open Beta.
  • Deadline: Open Beta (Weekend Two) runs August 28 → September 1, 2026, 10:00 AM PT. Miss it and the rewards are unobtainable.
  • Top prizes: "Dread Tiger" Operator Skin for Reece (Level 20) and the "Beta Forged" Weapon Blueprint for the Han 86 assault rifle (Level 30).
  • Do they carry over? Yes — the cosmetic Beta Rewards unlock in the full game at launch (October 23). Your levels and weapon XP do not carry; those reset. (See our MW4 beta progress carry-over breakdown.)
  • Fastest route to Level 30: stack XP events, play objective modes, and use a leveling boost or bot lobby if you're short on time before Sept 1.

All 8 Modern Warfare 4 Beta Rewards (full list)

Progression in the Open Beta is a single Player Level track. Each of these eight tiers drops one reward the moment you hit the level. This is the confirmed list straight from the official Weekend Two intel on callofduty.com:

Player LevelRewardType
4"Through the Paces"Legendary Emblem
8"First Served"Weapon Charm
12"Meonjeo"Legendary Weapon Sticker
16"Last Charge"Legendary Calling Card
20"Dread Tiger" — ReeceOperator Skin
23"Field Tested"Epic Spray
26"Beta Rights"Epic Loading Screen
30"Beta Forged" — Han 86Weapon Blueprint

The two you actually want are the Level 20 "Dread Tiger" Operator Skin for Reece and the Level 30 "Beta Forged" Weapon Blueprint for the Han 86 assault rifle — the only usable in-game gear on the list. Everything else is emblems, charms, stickers, cards and screens, but they still count toward showing off that you were there before launch.

As the official blog puts it: "These rewards can only be earned during the Modern Warfare 4 Beta and will be available in the full game at launch for players who unlock them." Translation: hit the level now, or you never get the item.

Are the MW4 Beta Rewards worth grinding for?

For most players the honest answer is: grind to Level 20 for the "Dread Tiger" skin at minimum, and push to Level 30 for the "Beta Forged" blueprint if you have the time. Those two are the only unlocks that show up in an actual match, and limited-time launch-window cosmetics tend to become quiet flex items — you literally cannot get them again after September 1.

The lower tiers (emblem, charm, sticker, calling card) come naturally on the way to Level 20, so you're not spending extra effort on them. The real decision is the Level 20 → 30 stretch, which is where the XP curve steepens and the time cost jumps. If you only care about a usable reward, the Level 20 Operator Skin is the efficient stopping point; if you're a completionist who wants the full set and the Han 86 blueprint, budget the extra hours or shortcut the climb.

One thing worth being clear-eyed about: none of these rewards give you a competitive advantage at launch. They're cosmetic. The value is scarcity and bragging rights, not power — so grind them for the collection, not for an edge.

What other rewards can I earn in the MW4 Beta?

The eight-tier track isn't the whole picture. Modern Warfare 4's Open Beta layers in several bonus cosmetics on top of the level rewards:

  • Default items (instant): 3 Emblems, 3 Calling Cards, 1 Spray and 3 Loading Screens are handed to every player the moment you log in.
  • Mobility Course Challenge Reward: the "Clockwork" Charm for completing the new movement-training course.
  • Combat Record Rewards: a classified Weapon Blueprint, an Emblem and a Charm tied to your performance stats.
  • Twitch Drops: link your Activision and Twitch accounts and watch any Modern Warfare 4 creator to earn:
  • "Get Tactical" Emblem — watch 15 minutes
  • "Clearing House" Calling Card — watch 30 minutes
  • "Action Ready" Charm — watch 45 minutes

The Twitch Drops are the easiest free rewards on this entire page — 45 minutes of a stream running in a background tab and you've got all three, no gameplay required.

How do I reach Level 30 in the MW4 Beta before it ends?

Modern Warfare 4 Beta Han 86 assault rifle, the weapon tied to the Level 30 Beta Forged blueprint reward

Weekend Two starts you at Player Level 1 (or resumes your Weekend One progress) with a level cap of 30. Create a Class unlocks at Level 4, and from there the grind opens up. With the Open Beta ending September 1, here's how to maximize XP per hour:

  • Play objective modes, not just TDM. Hardpoint, Domination and Kill Confirmed reward captures, holds and tag grabs on top of kills — far more XP per match than pure Team Deathmatch.
  • Chase Double XP windows. Infinity Ward runs XP events across the Beta; the August 31 Beta patch notes are worth checking for any active multipliers before you sit down to grind.
  • Finish every match. Match-completion and win bonuses are a big chunk of your level-up rate — leaving early throws that away.
  • Complete the Mobility Course. It's a fast one-time XP injection and it hands you the Clockwork Charm at the same time.
  • Don't ignore challenges. Weapon and operator challenges stack bonus XP while you're playing anyway.

Even with efficient play, going from Level 1 to Level 30 in a two-day window is a real time sink — realistically several hours of focused Multiplayer. If your Weekend Two hours are limited and you still want that Level 20 skin and Level 30 blueprint locked in before the cutoff, a leveling service or a run of easy lobbies gets you there without burning your whole weekend.

Do the MW4 Beta Rewards carry over to the full game?

Yes — the cosmetic Beta Rewards carry into the full game at launch on October 23 for every player who unlocked them. Straight from the official Weekend Two blog: "Beta Rewards earned during the Open Beta carry over to the full game at launch."

The important catch: only the cosmetic rewards carry. Your Player Level, weapon XP, unlocked attachments and loadout progress from the Beta are wiped and everyone restarts from scratch at launch. So there's no point grinding levels for a head start — grind them only to claim the eight rewards (and the bonus cosmetics) before the Beta closes. We break down exactly what resets and what you keep in our MW4 beta progress carry-over guide.

If you want a head start that does matter at launch, that's what account and weapon leveling at release is for — not the Beta.

When does the MW4 Beta end and when does the full game launch?

  • Open Beta (Weekend Two): August 28, 10:00 AM PT → September 1, 10:00 AM PT, 2026. All reward earning stops at that cutoff.
  • Campaign Early Access: October 16, 2026 for digital pre-orders (Weekend Two even let Beta players try the "Entrenched" campaign mission — a first for a Call of Duty Beta).
- Full launch: October 23, 2026 on Xbox Series XS, PlayStation 5, Steam, Battle.net and Nintendo Switch 2.

That's a nearly two-month gap between the Beta closing and launch, and your unlocked rewards sit waiting in your account the whole time. New to the Beta and not sure how to even get in? Our MW4 Open Beta free-access guide covers download and launch on every platform, and if you're fighting stutter or low FPS on PC, the MW4 beta stuttering & low-FPS fix will get you grinding smoothly.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many Beta Rewards are in the Modern Warfare 4 Open Beta? There are 8 rewards on the main Player Level track, unlocked at Levels 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 23, 26 and 30. On top of that you get instant default items, a Mobility Course charm, Combat Record rewards and three Twitch Drop cosmetics, so the true total is well over a dozen.

What is the best MW4 Beta reward? The two standout unlocks are the "Dread Tiger" Operator Skin for Reece at Level 20 and the "Beta Forged" Weapon Blueprint for the Han 86 assault rifle at Level 30 — they're the only rewards you can actually equip and see in a match. The rest are emblems, charms, stickers, calling cards and loading screens.

Do MW4 Beta Rewards carry over to the full game? Yes. Every cosmetic Beta Reward you unlock becomes available in the full game when Modern Warfare 4 launches on October 23, 2026. Your Player Level, weapon XP and unlocks do not carry — that progress resets and everyone starts fresh at launch.

When does the MW4 Beta end? The Open Beta (Weekend Two) ends at 10:00 AM PT on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. After that you can no longer earn any of the Beta Rewards, so hit your target levels before the cutoff.

How long does it take to reach Level 30 in the MW4 Beta? It depends on your XP rate, but expect several hours of focused Multiplayer to go from Level 1 to Level 30. Playing objective modes, finishing matches, completing the Mobility Course and chasing any active Double XP windows is the fastest legit route. A leveling boost or bot lobbies can lock in Level 30 quickly if you're short on time before the Beta closes.

Can I earn the Twitch Drops without playing? Yes. The three Twitch Drop cosmetics — the "Get Tactical" Emblem, "Clearing House" Calling Card and "Action Ready" Charm — only require you to link your Activision and Twitch accounts and watch a Modern Warfare 4 stream for 15, 30 and 45 minutes respectively. No gameplay needed.
