We didn't take another site's word for it. This is what we checked on November 7, 2026:
- The game page. The official description lists how to play (steal eggs, hatch pets, train on the treadmill) and mentions no codes.
- The developer's group announcements. The and Collect Rare Pets group has posted 14 announcements, from "EVERYONE GAME IS BACK" on August 12, 2026 to "UPDATE 10.5" on October 31, 2026. None of them mention a code.
- The Steal An Egg wiki. Its Codes page says: "There are no current codes in this game. There is not even a way to redeem them."
- Code trackers. PCGamesN (updated November 4) and Destructoid (updated November 2) both say there are no codes and no redeem box. GameBoost said no codes came with its November 5 check either.
The game is still very much alive. Our Games API pull at 08:10 UTC on November 7 showed 1,135,810 people playing, 10.6 billion visits and 9.44 million favorites, with the place last updated at 04:28 UTC the same morning. A missing code system isn't a sign the game is dying. It's a design choice: the game hands out free stuff through events and the Pet Index instead.

There's nothing to expire. If a page shows you a long "expired" list for Steal An Egg, those strings came from somewhere else.
How do you redeem Steal An Egg codes?

How to claim the free 10,000 Speed
- On the Steal An Egg page on Roblox, press the thumbs up to like it.
- Press the star to add it to your favorites.
- Join the and Collect Rare Pets community. It's the group listed as the game's creator, and it has a verified badge and about 113.6 million members.
- Rejoin the game, open the free rewards panel, and claim 10,000 Speed.

The Index is the best free reward in the game that nobody calls a code. Each pet you discover for the first time gives a one-off reward, and the late-game ones are huge. For example, the El Maja discovery reward is +180K Speed and $13B. Players who skip the Index leave a lot of Speed unclaimed.

Why do other sites list Steal An Egg codes?
A few reasons, and none of them are good:
- Copied codes from look-alike games. Steal Animal Egg, Jump To Steal An Egg and Break and Steal an Egg are separate Roblox games from different developers, and some of them do have codes. Codes never carry over between Roblox games, so they won't work in Steal An Egg.
- Made-up codes. Some pages invent official-sounding strings, often named after the latest update, for clicks. There's no box to type them into, so they're easy to spot.
- Scams. Pet generators, "verify to claim" pages, survey walls and script downloads want your login or want malware on your device.
A simple rule: a real code needs a real redeem box inside the game, and Steal An Egg doesn't have one. Your Roblox password only ever goes into roblox.com.

Paranoid Pete arrived on November 2 with the UFO Invasion signals. If a code ever comes with either of them, it will be in the official announcement, not on a random code site.
