StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 ends in Barcelona on Sunday 20 September. Six S-Tier tournaments are left on the 2026 calendar after it, running from 3 October to 13 December and finishing with the PGL Major in Singapore. Four more events that still show up on older calendars are cancelled or postponed.
Every CS2 tournament left in 2026
ESL Pro League Season 24 — 3–11 October, Katowice, Poland. $1,000,000, 16 teams. The closing weekend, Friday 9 to Sunday 11 October, runs in front of a live crowd at the Spodek Arena — the second straight Pro League with arena playoffs, after Season 23 filled the Annexet in Stockholm in March.
Thunderpick World Championship 2026 — 14–18 October, BLAST Studios, Malta. $1,000,000, 8 teams. Thunderpick named its full field on 16 September: FISSURE Playground 3 winner Legacy (#3), Falcons (#4), defending champions FURIA (#8), BETBOOM (#9), 9z (#10), Aurora (#12), PARIVISION (#17) and closed-qualifier winner Virtus.pro (#30). Seven of the eight sit inside the global VRS top 20.
PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 — 24–31 October, PGL Studio, Bucharest. $1,250,000, 16 teams. Twelve were invited straight off the global Valve Regional Standings from #1 down, the other four through regional qualifiers for Europe, North America, South America and Asia. Those are done, so the field is set, led by Spirit and Vitality.
Intel Extreme Masters Beijing 2026 — 2–8 November, Bloomage Biotech Biohyalux ECM Arena, Beijing. $1,250,000, 16 teams. It is ESL's first on-site Intel Extreme Masters in Beijing since 2019, after two years of running its Chinese stop in Chengdu.
BLAST Rivals Fall 2026 — 11–15 November, Hong Kong. $1,000,000, 8 teams. BLAST's 17 September update moved the start from 8 to 11 November. The group stage runs 11–12 November, and the closing three days are played in front of a live audience at the AsiaWorld-Arena.
PGL Major Singapore 2026 — 25 November–13 December, Singapore. $1,250,000, 32 teams, with the final four days, 10–13 December, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Full detail on the Swiss stages and invitations is in our PGL Major Singapore 2026 guide.
Why October matters more than November
All 32 Major invitations come from a single Valve Regional Standings snapshot published on Monday 2 November. There is no open qualifier route into Singapore; the only fallback is a last-chance regional qualifier, used if a region runs out of eligible rosters that have not changed players.
That makes ESL Pro League Season 24, the Thunderpick World Championship and PGL Masters Bucharest the last three S-Tier events that can move a team's ranking before the invitations are locked. IEM Beijing begins on the day the snapshot is published, so its results cannot affect who goes to the Major. BLAST Rivals also falls after the snapshot, and its field is not VRS-ordered at all: as a Valve Wildcard tournament BLAST can issue unlimited wildcard invitations rather than working down the standings from #1, subject to Valve's eligibility rules for rosters outside the global top 12.
The CS2 world ranking is the number that decides it, and Bucharest is the last event that can move it.
Four events that are off the calendar
PGL Fall 2026 (1–11 October, $1,250,000) is cancelled. PGL said it could not go ahead because of a complete overlap with another organiser's event announced after PGL published its 2026 calendar; reporting has linked the clash to ESL Pro League Season 24.
YaLLa Compass UAE 2026 (16–22 November, $600,000) is off after YaLLa Esports collapsed into liquidation with reported debts of more than $1 million.
FISSURE Playground #5 (Shenzhen) was scheduled for 7–13 September and is listed as postponed. FISSURE announced a $1,500,000 total pool, $450,000 of it prize money. No replacement dates have been announced.
Forge of Legends 2026 (13–18 October, $500,000, organised by h8r.gg) is flagged on Liquipedia as cancelled but unconfirmed, because the organiser has not released the event information Valve's tournament operation requirements demand. Its venue, format and team list are still blank.
What to watch next
The immediate one is the StarSeries Fall grand final on 20 September — the bracket and results so far are here. After that the smaller stops take over, 1win Private Club #1 on 25–28 September and Stake Ranked Episode 4 on 1–4 October, before ESL Pro League Season 24 opens on Saturday 3 October. One notable event follows the Major: eXTREMESLAND 2026, 16–20 December in Shanghai, a $150,000 A-Tier stop and the last S- or A-Tier CS2 event of the year.
