This is the benchmark league-start-to-endgame Ranger: cheap to start, scales hard with a good bow and quiver, and clears screens faster than almost anything in 0.5.4. Mapping is straight S-tier thanks to chain, extra projectiles and Mirage Deadeye coverage. Run through packs firing Lightning Arrow; the chains shock and freeze everything while Herald of Thunder explosions and Mirage Deadeye finish off the screen. Keep Gathering Winds stacked by staying mobile and let movement speed carry you between packs.
Bossing rotation
Apply Voltaic Mark, pre-place several Lightning Rods at the boss's feet, then unload Lightning Arrow to detonate them for a burst. Use Tornado Shot for sustained single-target and reposition constantly since you are a squishy evasion build.
