Return of the Ancients (0.5.4) was an Expedition and Atlas-endgame patch with no Huntress skill rebalance, so the build plays exactly as before.
SorceressSpark Archmage Stormweaver
The Spark Archmage Stormweaver is the strongest and most reliable Sorceress build in 0.5.4 Return of the Ancients, stacking mana to convert it into both damage and effective life via Archmage. Spark bolts bounce around corners for screen-wide clear, while an optional Cast on Critical Comet package adds enormous single-target burst.
WarriorShield Wall Avatar of Fire Titan
The strongest Warrior in 0.5.4 Return of the Ancients is the Shield Wall Titan, which raises screen-wide branching fissures and detonates them with warcries for huge area damage while sitting behind a massive armour and block wall. It pairs Avatar of Fire to convert physical Shield Wall damage to fire, scaling reliable Ignite that bosses can't out-stat.
RangerLightning Arrow Deadeye
Lightning Arrow Deadeye remains the king of Ranger in 0.5.4 Return of the Ancients, blanketing the screen in chaining lightning that shocks and freezes whole packs while you sprint past at high movement speed. Endless Munitions extra projectiles, Mirage Deadeye echoes, and Herald of Thunder turn it into one of the smoothest map-farmers in the patch.
MercenaryExplosive Grenade Witchhunter
The Explosive Grenade Witchhunter is the dominant Mercenary archetype in PoE2 0.5.4 Return of the Ancients, chaining overlapping grenade explosions for instant pack clears while melting pinnacle bosses in seconds. It leans on the Witchhunter's debuff-damage amplification plus Sorcery Ward tankiness to do both jobs without compromise.
WitchMinion Army Infernalist
In PoE2 0.5.4 the Minion Army Infernalist is the strongest and most forgiving Witch build, sidestepping the caster mana-regen nerfs because Pyromantic Pact converts mana to Infernal Flame. A wall of Powered Zealot spectres and skeletal mages stacks elemental shred and lightning chains while the Hellhound and curses melt packs for you.
