What is a LEDX used for in Escape from Tarkov?

The LEDX Skin Transilluminator is a high-value barter item used for Hideout upgrades — most importantly the Intelligence Center and the medstation line — and for crafts and trader barters. It is one of the most consistently expensive items in the game.

Where does LEDX spawn?

It spawns on medical shelves and in medbags, most reliably in the Resort rooms on Shoreline, in medical areas on Interchange and Streets of Tarkov, and inside The Lab. All of them are contested spots.

Does the LEDX need to be Found in Raid?

For hideout construction it depends on the station — patch 1.1.0 removed the Found in Raid requirement from some hideout materials in both PvP Zone and PvE Zone. Tell us the objective and we deliver in the state it needs.

How is the LEDX delivered?

It is an ordinary in-game trade. A courier meets you in raid or hands the item over through a trade, with no public flea listing tied to your account and no account access required. Escape from Tarkov now runs three separate profiles — PvP Zone, PvE Zone and the seasonal PvP Season character introduced with patch 1.1.0 on 3 August 2026. They have separate economies and separate flea markets, so tell us which profile the delivery is for when you order.

Is it cheaper to buy a LEDX or farm one?

Farming one means repeated contested runs at Resort or The Lab with a real chance of dying with it in your bag. Buying removes the raid risk entirely and lands the item in one handover.
