What does a Marathon Cradle boost actually raise?

It raises your Cradle level, the Season 2 stat progression found in the Shells menu. The Cradle is shared, not per-shell, so the levels you gain apply to all eight Runner Shells at the same time — Destroyer, Assassin, Recon, Triage, Thief, Vandal, Sentinel and Rook. You pick the current and desired Cradle level on the slider.

How much does a Marathon Cradle boost cost?

Pricing is per Cradle level and starts at $1.00 a level for the earliest band, rising as the levels get more expensive to earn. The slider opens on a 1 to 10 push, which totals $9.00 before any extras. Prioritising a stat track adds 10% each, and Express execution adds 30% to the order.

Which Cradle stat tracks can I prioritise?

All six: Strength, Recharge, Dexterity, Endurance, Support and Resistance. Tick the ones that matter for your build and the Energy earned during the boost goes into those tracks first instead of being spread thin. Leave every box unticked and we simply bank the Energy so you can allocate it yourself when the order is handed back.

How is Cradle Energy earned in Marathon?

Cradle levels come from XP, and each level pays out Energy, which is the currency you actually spend on the six tracks. Energy is generated by Convert Matter at the Matter Converter in your Vault: you break loot down into Energy, and higher-rarity loot converts into more of it. That is why the boost is run as a looting and extraction cycle.

Do I still need faction ranks if I buy a Cradle boost?

Faction ranks and Cradle levels do different jobs since Season 2. Faction upgrade nodes no longer raise Runner stats — that moved to the Cradle — but the six factions, Arachne, CyberAcme, MIDA, NuCaloric, Sekiguchi and Traxus, still gate the upgrades, schematics and vendor stock you can buy. How long does a Marathon Cradle boost take?

It depends on how many levels you ordered and on current queue volume, because Cradle XP is earned through live runs rather than handed over instantly. Short ranges such as the default 1 to 10 finish fastest. Choosing Express at checkout adds 30% to the total and pushes your order to the front of the queue.

Is a Marathon Cradle boost safe for my account?
