How many faction reputation ranks does Marathon have?

Each of the six Marathon factions has 7 reputation ranks. Reaching a new rank unlocks additional purchasable nodes in that faction upgrade tree, and the final capstone node of every tree grants a gold item. Our boost takes the faction you pick from Rank 1 all the way to Rank 7.

Which Marathon factions can I order a reputation boost for?

What does each Marathon faction actually sell?

CyberAcme handles onboarding and sells Vault expansion, torso implants and backpacks. Traxus sells weapons and weapon chip mods. Sekiguchi sells Cores and head implants. NuCaloric sells survivability items, MIDA sells equipment and destruction tools, and Arachne is the PvP faction. Pick the trees that match how you actually run Tau Ceti IV.

Do faction upgrades still raise my Runner stats?

No. Since Season 2 the faction upgrade trees no longer raise Runner stats — that progression moved to The Cradle. Faction ranks are still worth farming because they gate what each vendor will sell you and because every tree ends in a gold-item capstone, but do not expect a stat sheet increase from them.

Will my faction reputation survive the next season?

No. Faction levels and faction upgrades are wiped at the start of every season, and Season 3 launches on 22 September 2026. Liaison Contracts, which unlock each faction in the first place, do carry over. Order early in a season so the upgrades you buy pay for themselves across the months you actually play.

How is reputation earned during the boost?

Our runners take that faction contracts and repeat the world actions it rewards. Traxus credits Arms Lockers, Tool Carts, Transport Drones, Convoy and Lockdown events; Sekiguchi credits Bioprinters, Core Storage, Crash Carts, UESC Wardens and Anomalous Extraction events. Nodes themselves are still bought with Credits and crafting materials once the rank is open.

Does a faction boost help me get into the Cryo Archive?

Partly. The Cryo Archive requires all six factions unlocked through their Liaison Contracts, plus Runner Level 25, a loadout worth at least 5,000 credits and a full trio — no solo entry. Faction reputation itself is not an entry gate, but the gear and implants those vendors sell make the 5,000-credit loadout requirement far easier to meet.

How fast is the Express option?

Express adds 30% to the order total and moves your faction reputation boost to the front of the queue with a dedicated crew. Normal execution carries no surcharge and is what the page opens on. Either way you keep every credit, material and drop the runners pick up while farming your ranks.
