Ahead of the Curve in WoW Midnight Season 2 is awarded for defeating Ula’tek on Heroic difficulty in The Venomous Abyss before the season ends. A boost at timesaver.gg starts at $116.10.

It is a feat of strength: once Season 2 closes the achievement can never be earned again, which is why it is the one raid achievement people actually chase.

Season 2 opens on 18 August 2026 in North America and 19 August in Europe. Every kill is played manually by real raiders — no bots and no automation.

Frequently asked questions

  • You need to kill Ula’tek, the final boss of The Venomous Abyss, on Heroic difficulty before WoW Midnight Season 2 ends. Nothing else counts: Normal kills do not award it and the Mythic kill awards Cutting Edge instead.

  • The achievement stays on your account forever, but it can only be earned while Season 2 is the current season. Once the next season starts, Ahead of the Curve for The Venomous Abyss becomes unobtainable — that is what makes it a feat of strength.

  • The Heroic Ula’tek kill on its own costs $116.10. Bundling it with the full 8/8 Heroic clear, so you get a whole lockout of Hero track gear on the way, costs $224.10. Express delivery adds 20% and Super Express adds 40%.

  • Yes. Self-play is the default: you log in yourself, join the raid group and play your own character through the Ula’tek kill. Piloted costs the same if you would rather not play, and a remote-desktop option lets you watch the run on your own screen for 30% more.
