Crimson Venomfang Mount

Crimson Venomfang Mount — Glory of the Venomous Raider Carry

  • 8/8 Meta Criteria
  • Crimson Venomfang
  • Self-play or Piloted

Glory of the Venomous Raider is the Season 2 raid meta-achievement in WoW Midnight, and the mount it pays out is the Crimson Venomfang. A full carry at timesaver.gg starts at $188.10 and completes all 8 criteria of the meta inside The Venomous Abyss; a single missing criterion is $44.10. The achievement is Glory of the Venomous Raider — it is widely mislisted as “Glory of the Venomous Abyss Raider”, but the in-game name has no “Abyss” in it, and it is the one that awards the mount.

What's included

Every full order completes all 8 criteria of the meta and finishes with Crimson Venomfang added to your mount journal.

  • All 8 meta criteria, or only the ones you are still missing, at $44.10 each;
  • The Crimson Venomfang mount, the meta's reward;
  • The pet Ula'took, which comes with the No Egg Scramble criterion;
  • Any gear that drops for you during the runs, on the raid difficulty you choose;
  • Self-play by default, piloted at the same price, remote self-play for 30 % more;
  • Express and Super Express queue positions for 20 % or 40 % more.

All 8 Glory of the Venomous Raider criteria

Glory of the Venomous Raider has 8 criteria, and every one of them is earned inside The Venomous Abyss.

  • Well, Well, Little Sky
  • Accidental Inclusion
  • Jumping Through Hoops
  • Watch Out Behind You
  • Is Venom Stasis A Joke To You?
  • Kept You Waiting Huh?
  • Taking a Bite out of Slime
  • No Egg Scramble — the criterion that also awards the pet Ula'took

Meta criteria are group-wide setups rather than damage checks, which is why they are usually the last thing a pug leaves undone. The raid they sit in runs 8 bosses across four wings:

WingBosses
The SoulcoilersNek'zali the Soulcoiler, The Twin Fangs
The Essence of VenomEntombed Sentinels, Vashnik the Malignant
The Serpent WarrenThe Lost Explorers, Sszorak
The Tomb of Ula'tekThe Coiled Altar, Ula'tek

The mount and the loot you keep

The meta pays exactly one mount, Crimson Venomfang, and it lands the moment the eighth criterion ticks.

Everything else you take home depends on the difficulty the criteria are done on. Normal Venomous Abyss drops 292 to 302 item level, Heroic drops 305 to 315, and the Great Vault pays one difficulty up — Normal feeds a 305 pick, Heroic a 318 pick. The runs also generate Mistcrests: Champion Mistcrests from Normal raid, Hero Mistcrests from Heroic, which is the currency that upgrades whatever you loot.

Options explained

There are two ways to buy: the full meta at $188.10, or single criteria at $44.10 each.

  • Full meta — all 8 criteria and the mount, cheaper than eight singles;
  • Single criteria — tick only what your armory is missing;
  • Difficulty — Normal or Heroic; the mount is identical either way, the loot is not;
  • Speed — Standard, Express (+20 %) or Super Express (+40 %).

Self-play, piloted or remote

Three completion methods are offered, and two of them cost the same.

Self-play is the default: you stay on your own character, join our raid group and play the criteria with us, so no login details change hands. Piloted costs the same and hands your character to one of our raiders while you are away. Self-play remote adds 30 % and lets you keep your own client open through remote-desktop software while our raid leader calls the setup.

Requirements

You need a level 90 character on a live retail realm, and nothing else — there is no attunement for Normal or Heroic Venomous Abyss.

Raid criteria are done inside the weekly lockout, so a character already saved to the bosses a criterion sits on has to wait for the reset. Weekly reset is Tuesday 15:00 UTC in US and OCE and Wednesday 04:00 UTC in EU. PC only, and both regions are supported.

How long it takes

A full 8-criterion meta is normally spread over one or two raid lockouts, because the criteria sit on different encounters and the raid is limited to one clear per week per difficulty.

Single criteria are much faster: they are slotted into the next raid our team schedules that reaches the relevant encounter. Express and Super Express move your order up that queue rather than shortening the run itself. If you also want Ahead of the Curve: Ula'tek, book it on the same lockout and both come out of one raid night.

Frequently asked questions

  • Glory of the Venomous Raider is the Season 2 raid meta-achievement in WoW Midnight, made up of 8 criteria earned inside The Venomous Abyss. Completing all 8 awards the Crimson Venomfang mount. It is often written as Glory of the Venomous Abyss Raider, but that is not the achievement's in-game name.

  • You get Crimson Venomfang, the mount attached to Glory of the Venomous Raider. It is added to your account the moment the eighth criterion completes, and it is account-wide once learned. No other mount is tied to this meta, and the mount cannot be obtained any other way in Season 2.

  • No. The full meta at $188.10 covers all 8 criteria and is cheaper than buying them individually, but you can also tick only the criteria you are missing at $44.10 each. Check your achievement pane first: most players who raided already have two or three of the 8 done.

  • You choose Normal or Heroic. The mount is identical on both, because meta criteria have no difficulty requirement. The difference is the loot: Normal Venomous Abyss drops 292 to 302 item level, Heroic drops 305 to 315, and Heroic also feeds a 318 pick into the Great Vault.

  • Self-play is the default and no login details change hands at all: you play your own character in our raid group. If you choose piloted, we use a VPN matched to your region and never touch anything outside the agreed service. Every run is played manually by real raiders, with no bots or automation.

  • Self-play suits meta criteria well, since most of them are group setups rather than damage checks, and our raid leader calls each one. Piloted costs the same and is the better pick if you cannot commit to raid nights. Remote self-play adds 30% and keeps you on your own client throughout.

  • A level 90 character on a live retail realm in EU or NA. There is no attunement for Normal or Heroic Venomous Abyss. Your character should not already be saved to the encounters a criterion sits on this week, otherwise the criteria wait for the next weekly reset.

  • A full 8-criterion meta normally spreads over one or two weekly lockouts, because the criteria sit on different encounters and each difficulty allows one clear per week. Single criteria are slotted into the next raid that reaches the right encounter. Express adds 20% and Super Express 40% to jump the queue.

  • Weekly reset is Tuesday at 15:00 UTC in the US and OCE regions and Wednesday at 04:00 UTC in Europe. That is when raid lockouts clear and a new set of criteria attempts opens. Season 2 itself began on 18 August 2026 in North America and 19 August 2026 in Europe.

  • Yes. No Egg Scramble, one of the 8 criteria, also awards the pet Ula'took. You keep any gear that drops for you during the runs, plus the Mistcrests they generate: Champion Mistcrests from Normal raid and Hero Mistcrests from Heroic, which upgrade the gear you loot.
