Cenarion Expedition reputation from $4.31 to Friendly, $120.59 to Exalted. Their base is Cenarion Refuge in eastern Zangarmarsh and the quartermaster is Fedryen Swiftspear.
Honored is the standing most people actually need. It unlocks the Reservoir Key for 2 gold 50 silver, and that key is what opens Heroic mode for all four Coilfang dungeons. Normal Coilfang needs no key at all — despite what a lot of pages imply.
What the grind is:
- Darkcrest and Bloodscale naga in Zangarmarsh, plus normal Slave Pens and Underbog;
- Unidentified Plant Parts, handed to Lauranna Thar'well ten at a time for 250 rep — this turn-in stops working at Honored, which is the fact that catches people out halfway;
- quest rep, heaviest in Zangarmarsh at about 5,875 and Blade's Edge at about 4,220;
- Heroic Coilfang clears at 2,500-2,750 rep each — the only sane route from Revered to Exalted.
Exalted pays out two things worth having: the Cenarion War Hippogryph, one of the few reputation flying mounts in TBC, and the Earthwarden, the feral druid tanking mace that people still level this faction for. Note the mount is an epic flyer and needs Artisan Riding — about 2,000 gold at list, less with the exalted discount.
Also on the vendor: Strength of the Untamed and the Watcher's Cowl at Honored, Ashyen's Gift and the tabard at Exalted.
