The Amani War Bear is guaranteed, not a drop chance. It comes out of the fourth and final timed chest in Zul'Aman, and that chest only unlocks if all four hostages are rescued inside the timer. Beat the clock, open the chest, the bear is yours. The pre-order is $136.79.
Zul'Aman is not open yet. It arrives with Phase 3.5 in autumn 2026 and Blizzard has not announced a date. This is a pre-order: you lock today's price now and your run is scheduled and started the day the phase goes live on the US Anniversary realms.
The run: Zul'Aman is a 10-player raid with 6 bosses - Nalorakk, Akil'zon, Jan'alai, Halazzi, Hex Lord Malacrass and Zul'jin. The four animal bosses each guard a hostage, and every wing has to fall fast enough to keep the timer alive. That is the entire skill test, and it is why pug groups walk out of Zul'Aman without the bear.
The scarcity is the product. In the original game the Amani War Bear was removed forever in patch 3.0.2, when the timed chest event was retired. Nobody who came later could ever get one. Phase 3.5 reopens that window on the Anniversary realms, and it closes again the same way.
Guaranteed, not RNG. The rare TBC mounts - Ashes of Al'ar from Kael'thas, the Fiery Warhorse's Reins from Attumen - sit at roughly 1-2% per weekly lockout, which is why they are sold as run-until-it-drops farms at many times this price. The Amani War Bear is a fixed 10-man clear against a clock, so it is priced like a carry, not like a lottery ticket.
