The Cenarion War Hippogryph is sold by Fedryen Swiftspear at the Cenarion Refuge in Zangarmarsh, and it requires Cenarion Expedition Exalted. From $80.98 starting at Revered, or $142.17 from Neutral, and that price already covers the 1,600 gold the mount costs at the Exalted vendor discount.
It is guaranteed, not a drop. There is no roughly 1% roll here the way there is on Ashes of Al'ar or the Fiery Warhorse's Reins. The reputation gets ground out, the mount gets bought, and it is in your bags at the end of the order. What you are paying for is a fixed number of days instead of an open-ended weekly lockout.
Where the reputation comes from:
- Coilfang Reservoir runs — Slave Pens, Underbog and the Steamvault, with heroic Coilfang clears at 2,500-2,750 reputation each and by far the fastest route past Revered;
- Unidentified Plant Parts handed to Lauranna Thar'well ten at a time, which stop counting at Honored;
- the Zangarmarsh quests, worth roughly 5,875 reputation on their own.
How long it takes: Revered to Exalted is about 3-5 days of heroic Coilfang runs; from Neutral budget 10-14 days.
Riding skill is separate. The hippogryph is a flying mount and needs Expert Riding at minimum; on Artisan Riding it flies at 280%. We sell epic flying as its own service — add it if your character is still on a 60% flyer.
It is the only hippogryph mount in the game at this point in the expansion, which is why people still grind Cenarion Expedition long after the Earthwarden has stopped mattering. Delivery is piloted or Self-play Remote, on US Anniversary realms and EU, with turnaround quoted in ET/PT.
