Mining 1-375 is $100.83, or $64.83 for 300-375.
Mining is the most boring 75 points in the game. There is no shortcut, no recipe to spam and no auction-house workaround — it is hours of flying circuits, node to node, in zones full of other miners doing the same thing. That is precisely why people buy it.
What unlocks where:
- Fel Iron Deposit at 275 — Hellfire Peninsula, Zangarmarsh, Terokkar;
- Adamantite Deposit at 325 — heaviest in Nagrand, Blade's Edge, Netherstorm and Shadowmoon Valley;
- Khorium Vein at 375 — a rare spawn, mostly Netherstorm and Shadowmoon, and the reason the last stretch drags;
- Eternium Ore is not its own node — it comes as a bonus drop out of Fel Iron and Adamantite.
Smelting tracks the same numbers: Smelt Fel Iron at 275, Smelt Adamantite at 325, Smelt Khorium at 375, then the Hardened Adamantite and Fel Steel bars that every high-end blacksmith recipe wants.
It feeds three professions at once. Blacksmithing and engineering run on bars, and jewelcrafting prospects Adamantite Ore at 325 for its gems. If you are carrying any of those, mining is the profession that pays for them.
One honest correction: mining gives you no stamina bonus in TBC. Toughness arrived in patch 3.0.2 with Wrath. Any page selling TBC mining as free stamina is quoting the wrong expansion.
