Serpentshrine Cavern no longer needs an attunement. Blizzard removed the previous-phase attunements when Phase 3 opened on 27 August 2026, and you can now walk in and go straight to Lady Vashj. A full clear is $197.99, Vashj alone is $98.99.
There is no forced boss order in here. Several routes lead from the entrance to Vashj, which is exactly why a single-boss run is a real option and not a marketing line.
What drops:
- Tier 5 helm from Lady Vashj, gloves from Leotheras the Blind, legs from Fathom-Lord Karathress;
- Tsunami Talisman, the physical-DPS trinket — it drops from Leotheras the Blind, not from Vashj, whatever a rival's page says;
- Serpent Spine Longbow from Vashj and Fathom-Brooch of the Tidewalker from Karathress;
- Vashj's Vial Remnant, which is half of The Vials of Eternity — the Mount Hyjal attunement.
Two Phase 3 reasons this raid is busy again: Vashj is a required kill for the Hyjal attunement, and Fathom-Lord Karathress is a required kill inside the Black Temple chain. Everyone pushing into the new raids has to come back through here.
Anniversary bonus: raid bosses drop one extra tier token, so a clear fills a set faster than it did in original TBC.
How it is delivered: piloted by default, self-play if you want to be in the raid, or Self-play Remote for 30% more. Manual play, no bots.
