Start with the Honor set even if you only care about arena. A rating push on a character in PvE gear does not work — resilience is the whole reason the entry set exists, and every package here builds on it.

Where it is bought: Blizzard moved current-season gear to vendors in Shattrath and Nagrand for Anniversary, while Area 52 now carries the discounted Season 2 gear with no rating requirement. If you are gearing an alt cheaply, the Season 2 route is genuinely the better value and we will say so.

Arena slots carry personal-rating gates. Blizzard has not published the Season 3 thresholds for Anniversary, so we confirm the live numbers in your order chat instead of quoting a figure from another patch.
