DBD Bloodpoint Codes: Every Working BP Code (September 2026)

Search for a DBD Bloodpoint code and you will be told there are 53 working codes, or 55, or a list so long it needs a scroll bar. Type them into the game and almost none of them pay Bloodpoints, because almost none of them are Bloodpoint codes and a large share of them are dead.

Here is the number that matters today. As of 19 September 2026 there is exactly one active Dead by Daylight code that pays Bloodpoints. It is PLAYXENOMORPHIN2V8, it is worth 200,000 BP, and it went live on 9 September alongside the Alien run of 2v8. Everything else currently circulating as a "bloodpoint code" is either a cosmetic code, or expired, or was never real.

This page is written against the live build, Patch 10.1.2a, and the current chapter, Chorus of Sin, which released on 25 August 2026.

Quick answer (TLDR): One active BP code — PLAYXENOMORPHIN2V8 for 200,000 Bloodpoints. Redeem it in the in-game Store. Bloodpoints from codes are exempt from the 5,000,000 Bloodpoint cap, so you can bank it even at max. The weekly Free Gift in the Store pays 250,000 BP on its own, which is more than any live code, and it resets every Tuesday at 15:00 UTC.

What DBD Bloodpoint codes are active right now?

That is the whole table, and the shortness is the point. A Bloodpoint code is a specific thing: a redeemable string that deposits BP into your account. Behaviour Interactive issues them rarely, usually tied to an event, an anniversary or a milestone, and they are almost always time-limited even when no expiry is printed.

PLAYXENOMORPHIN2V8 is tied to the ninth run of the 2v8 game mode, the Alien version, which is live from 8 September to 29 September 2026. That end date is the only hard deadline anywhere near this code, so treat 29 September as the practical cut-off and redeem before then.

One code is worth putting in perspective. A single Trial in Dead by Daylight caps at 10,000 Bloodpoints in each of the four scoring categories, for a maximum of 40,000 per match before offerings. A 200,000 BP code is therefore worth five perfectly maxed-out games. Nobody maxes every category every match, so in practice it replaces more than five Trials. Behaviour publishes no average Bloodpoint-per-Trial figure, so that is as precise as anyone can honestly be — and it still arrives in about fifteen seconds.

There is one more code worth knowing about even though it pays no Bloodpoints, because it landed in the same window: STARSGUIDE, added 10 September 2026, grants the Stardotter banner. PCGamesN, in its 18 September update, notes that "you can still get a stardotted banner with last week's new DBD codes until October 10." The wiki backs that up with an exact window: its Banners page lists the Stardotter banner as redeemable via code STARSGUIDE between 10 September and 10 October 2026. If you want the full cosmetic list rather than the BP-only view, our DBD codes September 2026 guide keeps the complete table.

Why do other sites list so many Bloodpoint codes?

Because codes pages get copied faster than they get checked, and an expired code looks identical to a live one in a table cell.

Three examples from the pages ranking for this query this week, all checked on 19 September 2026:

  • Rock Paper Shotgun still lists WORLDPRIDE2026, INTOTHERAINBOW2026 and DBD10BIRTHDAY in its active section. All three are dead. DBD10BIRTHDAY, the 10-million-Bloodpoint anniversary code, expired on 16 July 2026.
  • PCGamesN lists 55 codes as active, DBD10BIRTHDAY among them, and has the rewards for MAURICEPRIDE and WORLDPRIDE2026 swapped, attaching "300k bloodpoints" to the badge code and a badge to the Bloodpoint code.
  • Dexerto states there are "53 active Dead by Daylight codes right now, all of which have been verified to be working in-game," while its own table includes several strings that other trackers logged as expired on 17 August 2026 — and it carries that same MAURICEPRIDE and WORLDPRIDE2026 swap.

That last detail is the tell. When two pages reproduce the same unusual error, they are one source, not two, and they should be weighted as one. The rule this page follows is simple: a code needs either a first-party announcement or two genuinely independent trackers, and where sources conflict the conservative reading wins. On the Pride codes, the two agreeing outliers lose to the trackers that dated the expiry and to the obvious reading that a code called MAURICEPRIDE grants the badge named after Maurice.

It is also worth knowing what does and does not exist. The official Dead by Daylight Wiki, which documents Bloodpoints, the Bloodweb and the Shrine of Secrets in exhaustive detail, maintains no codes page at all — there is no Codes, Promotional Codes or Redeem Code article, and a title search for "code" returns zero results. What it has instead is scattered and better than nothing: the wiki's Banners page states the Stardotter banner is redeemable via code STARSGUIDE between 10 September and 10 October 2026, and a site-wide search for that exact redeemable-via-code formula returns two dozen pages — the Banners, Charms and Badges indexes plus 21 individual Survivor pages — most of them carrying a dated redemption window. Bloodpoint codes, which grant no cosmetic, appear nowhere — a wiki search for PLAYXENOMORPHIN2V8 returns zero hits. So there is a first-party-grade record for cosmetic codes and none at all for BP codes, which is precisely why fabricated Bloodpoint codes survive so long.

Which Bloodpoint codes have expired, and when?

Expiry dates matter more than the code strings, because a dated expiry is the only way to tell a stale list from a fresh one. These are the BP-bearing and high-value codes that have died in the last two months.

Expired codeRewardDate it died
SHINEBRIGHTProud Rainbow Crow banner10 September 2026
WORLDPRIDE2026300,000 Bloodpoints17 August 2026

RAINBOWTOOLSPride Toolbox charm17 August 2026
RAINBOWBRIGHTPride Flashlight charm17 August 2026
DBD10BIRTHDAY10,000,000 Bloodpoints16 July 2026

Two caveats on that table. PCGamesN and Dexerto swap the WORLDPRIDE2026 and MAURICEPRIDE rewards, hanging 300,000 Bloodpoints on MAURICEPRIDE. The official wiki settles the half it covers: its Badges page lists the Proud Maurice badge as redeemable via MAURICEPRIDE between 10 and 17 August 2026, so MAURICEPRIDE was the badge and both sites are simply wrong. WORLDPRIDE2026 grants no cosmetic and is therefore absent from the wiki; 300,000 Bloodpoints is the reading Rock Paper Shotgun and dbdcoupons independently give it. Both are expired either way, which is why they are listed here and not above. And if a page you are reading has DBD10BIRTHDAY in its active table, it has not been checked since July regardless of the "Updated September" stamp at the top.

How do you redeem a Bloodpoint code in Dead by Daylight?

The redemption flow is the same for every code type:

  • Launch Dead by Daylight and get to the main menu.
  • Open the Store from the left-hand panel.
  • Find the Redeem Code option. On PC it sits in the top-right of the Store; on console it is a button prompt, so check the on-screen legend.
  • Paste or type the code exactly as published, then confirm.
  • Bloodpoints land immediately and the reward flashes at the bottom of the screen.

Sources disagree on whether codes are case-sensitive: PCGamesN says they are, Dexerto says they do not appear to be. There is no upside to finding out the hard way, so enter codes in capitals exactly as written.

If the code fails, the game tells you why. PCGamesN documents five error strings: "This code could not be redeemed because you already own the associated item," "This code has already been claimed," "This code is not valid. Please double-check you have entered it correctly and try again," "This code has expired," and "This code could not be redeemed due to a server error. Please try again later." Only the last one is worth retrying.

Will a Bloodpoint code be wasted if you are at the cap?

No, and this is the single most useful thing on this page.

Dead by Daylight caps your Bloodpoint balance at 5,000,000, raised from 2,000,000 in Patch 8.6.0. But that cap does not apply to everything. The official Dead by Daylight Wiki states it plainly:

"Bloodpoints awarded by other sources (e.g. Log-in Rewards, promotional Codes, Email Codes, etc.) are exempt from the Cap and do not count towards it, allowing for an overflow past the Cap."

So a 200,000 BP code redeemed at 5,000,000 puts you at 5,200,000. You do not need to burn down your balance in the Bloodweb first, and you are not throwing anything away by redeeming early. The cap only binds Bloodpoints earned in Trials and from completed Tome challenges.

What actually earns more Bloodpoints than codes?

If you came here because you want Bloodpoints rather than because you want codes specifically, codes are the worst of the four options available to you. Ranked by BP per minute of effort:

1. The weekly Free Gift — 250,000 BP. Introduced in Patch 7.7.0, claimed from the in-game Store, and it refreshes every Tuesday at 15:00 UTC alongside the Shrine of Secrets. The wiki's Free Gift Archive logs 2026 weeks 1 to 22 at 250,000 Bloodpoints each and has not been updated past week 22, so the documented run of 250,000 payouts ends in late spring rather than today. Dexerto's 16 September update still describes the gift as 250,000 Bloodpoints, which is the freshest confirmation available. That is more than the only live BP code, it costs nothing, and it repeats. At that rate a full year of weekly claims is worth about 13 million Bloodpoints, though the archive shows earlier years mixing in Rift-Fragment weeks, so treat the annual figure as a ceiling.

2. The Shrine of Secrets conversion — 100,000 BP. The Shrine offers four Unique Perks each week, priced at 2,000 Iridescent Shards for Tier I, 4,000 for Tier II and 6,000 for Tier III, with discounts if you already unlocked lower tiers through prestige. The relevant case here is the last one: buying a perk you have already maxed at Tier III costs 2,000 shards and pays out 100,000 Bloodpoints instead of a perk, and it can only be done once per perk per Shrine rotation — four perks a week, so 400,000 Bloodpoints is the hard weekly ceiling, and only if you have all four already maxed. The wiki flags this as a bad trade — "the Bloodpoints earned in the playtime it takes to regain the spent 2,000 Iridescent Shards will be far higher" — but if you are sitting on idle shards with nothing to unlock, it is a clean conversion. Our weekly DBD Shrine of Secrets breakdown tracks which perks are up.

3. Bloodpoint offerings and event categories. Offerings that boost Bloodpoints apply after the Trial, independently of the 10,000-per-category cap, which is why they can push a match past the normal 40,000 ceiling. Score events in the Special (Event) category are also excluded from the cap, which is how event scoring can add Bloodpoints on top of the 40,000. Behaviour has published no Bloodpoint rate for the 2v8 Alien run, so treat any page claiming the mode pays more per match as unverified.

4. Codes. One active code, 200,000 BP, once.

What do 200,000 Bloodpoints actually buy?

Bloodpoints have exactly one use. They cannot be converted into Auric Cells, Iridescent Shards or Rift Fragments, and they cannot buy cosmetics. They are spent in the Bloodweb, and nowhere else.

Current Bloodweb node costs are:

Node rarityCost
Event2,000 BP
Common2,000 BP
Uncommon2,500 BP
Rare3,250 BP
Very Rare4,000 BP
Ultra Rare5,000 BP

Dead by Daylight Bloodweb Level 50 prestige node on The Nemesis with the Bloodpoint counter visible in the HUD

Clearing a Bloodweb raises a character's level by one, up to Level 50, at which point you buy the central node for 20,000 BP to prestige and start the web again. Prestige runs to 100. Against those numbers, 200,000 Bloodpoints is a meaningful chunk of a prestige level on a fresh character and a rounding error on a P100 main — which is why the code is aimed at players picking up the Xenomorph for the 2v8 event rather than at veterans.

If you are deciding where those points should go, our best Killer perks tier list covers which teachables are worth prestiging for under 10.1.2a, and the 10.2.0 patch notes breakdown flags the perks changing on the PTB so you do not sink a prestige into something about to be reworked.

Does the 200,000 BP code require playing 2v8?

No. Despite the name, PLAYXENOMORPHIN2V8 is a standard Store redemption. Nothing in the redemption flow checks your match history. In the r/DeadByDaylightKillers thread that circulated the code, players describe taking the Bloodpoints without touching the mode — one reply summed up the mood as taking the BP while "not touching 2v8 with a 20 foot pole."

The code is named after the event because Behaviour published it during the Alien run to drive attention to the mode, not because it gates on it. That said, the event window is the honest expiry estimate — see our 2v8 September 2026 guide for what is actually in the mode this run.

FAQ

Is there a DBD code for 1 million Bloodpoints? Not right now. The largest Bloodpoint code in any tracker's records is DBD10BIRTHDAY at 10,000,000 BP, issued for the game's tenth anniversary, and it expired on 16 July 2026. Any page currently advertising it as working is out of date. The only live BP code is PLAYXENOMORPHIN2V8 for 200,000.

Do DBD Bloodpoint codes expire? Almost always, even when no end date is published. Cosmetic codes such as LETSROLL and WARRIORPUPPERS have run for years, but Bloodpoint codes are tied to events and milestones and get switched off quietly. Redeem BP codes the day you see them.

Can you use the same code twice? No. Re-entering a code you have already redeemed returns "This code has already been claimed", and every tracker describes DBD codes as one redemption per account. Behaviour has published nothing about redeeming the same code on a second account of your own, so we are not going to tell you it works.

Do codes work on console and Switch? Yes. The Store and the redeem prompt exist on every platform, though the button placement differs. Cross-progression means Bloodpoints redeemed on one platform appear on your linked account everywhere.

Why did my Bloodpoints not appear after redeeming? Check the error line under the redemption box first. If it said "server error," retry in a few minutes. If it succeeded but the balance looks unchanged, back out to the main menu and re-enter — the counter in the top-right does not always refresh live.

Are Bloodpoints the same as Iridescent Shards or Auric Cells? No, and conflating them is the most common mistake in this topic. Bloodpoints buy Bloodweb nodes only. Iridescent Shards buy Shrine perks and older cosmetics. Auric Cells are the paid currency. Bloodpoints cannot be exchanged into either of the others.

Where does BHVR publish codes officially? There is no official master list. The wiki has no codes page, but it does date individual cosmetic codes on its Banners, Charms and Badges pages — that is where the STARSGUIDE window of 10 September to 10 October 2026 comes from. Bloodpoint codes, which unlock no cosmetic, are documented nowhere first-party, which is exactly the gap third-party trackers fill badly. Codes otherwise surface in developer streams, social posts and in-game news.

Bottom line

One code, 200,000 Bloodpoints, redeemable now, probably gone when the Alien 2v8 run ends on 29 September. Everything past that on a 53-code or 55-code list is cosmetics and corpses. And if the goal is Bloodpoints rather than codes, the free 250,000 sitting in your Store every Tuesday outpays the entire active code list by itself.
