What is the Icepiercer in MM2?
Icepiercer is an Ancient-rarity gun in Roblox Murder Mystery 2. The MM2 Wiki's Icepiercer page says it "was originally obtainable by purchasing the 20th tier in the Battle Pass for 75,000 Snow Tokens during the 2022 Christmas Event. It is now only obtainable through trading as the event has since ended."
What makes it recognisable:
- The look. An ice crossbow with crystal spikes and a purple grip. Its shots leave a light blue trail, and it has its own shooting sound.
- Its place in history. It was the second Ancient gun ever released, after Harvester and before Gingerscope.
- Fixed supply. The Christmas Event 2022 ran from December 21, 2022 to January 22, 2023. Tiers 2 to 19 cost 700 Snow Tokens each, and the final tier alone cost 75,000, so the full climb took 87,600 Snow Tokens. Nobody has been able to earn one since.
- A set. It pairs with the Ancient knife Icebreaker and the Godly gun Iceblaster to make the Full Ice Set.
There was also a short bug in December 2022 where Icepiercer showed up as a Godly in inventories. The wiki says it was fixed on December 23, 2022. It's an Ancient, and that is how both value lists rank it.

Flat. mm2values.app has saved every change to the MM2 Values list since September 26, 2026, and Icepiercer has been 165 at every snapshot. Supreme's 160 is 10 below where it used to be (−5.9%), which is the same dip we noted in September. Neither list has moved it since.
That stability stands out this autumn. During the Halloween event the Ember Ancients swung hard: MM2 Values now has Emberbow and Emberscythe at 350 each, marked Fluctuating. Icepiercer didn't react at all, because nothing in the current event uses it.

What are Red, Bronze, Silver and Gold Icepiercer?
These are Unique reskins, not the normal Ancient, and the wiki marks them as untradable. The wiki says they were "awarded as unique trophies for placing in the top 100" on the 2022 Christmas event's Tokens-Collected leaderboard. Red Icepiercer went to the top 100, while Gold Icepiercer went to the single player who finished 1st. MM2 Values lists them separately:

Because they can't be traded, those numbers are bragging-rights figures, not prices anyone can actually pay. Even the wiki's infobox shows a different figure for Red (1,000,000), which tells you how loose Unique pricing is. The practical point: any Icepiercer you can trade for is the standard blue one. If someone claims to be selling or trading a Red or Gold Icepiercer, it's a scam.
Should you hold Icepiercer into Christmas 2026?
Hold it because you like it, not to flip it. Here's how we see it:
- For holding: Christmas Ancients get more attention in December, and Icepiercer is a winter item with more people asking for it than offering it.
- Against holding: its demand score is still 2.5, and it stayed at exactly 165 through a whole Halloween event that moved other Ancients by hundreds. In October the Christmas-themed Gingerscope fell about 12% in two weeks while traders focused on Halloween items (it has since climbed back to 15,750), so seasonal hype isn't guaranteed.
No Christmas 2026 event date had been announced when we checked. According to the MM2 Wiki, the last four Christmas events started on December 21, 2022, December 20, 2023, December 20, 2024 and December 14, 2025. Until a date is announced, treat any "Icepiercer will spike at Christmas" claim as a guess. That's our read, not something either value list says.
How do you get the Icepiercer in MM2 in 2026?
You can't earn Icepiercer in game anymore. Its only source was the Christmas 2022 battle pass. That leaves two ways:
