The Tidebound Grotto

Buy WoW Midnight The Tidebound Grotto

  • Nymrissa Wavecaller
  • Normal to Mythic
  • Loot Priority

The Tidebound Grotto is the lair added to WoW Midnight in patch 12.1 "Curse of Ula’tek", and its single boss is Nymrissa Wavecaller. A run at timesaver.gg starts at $17.10 on Normal.

A lair is a short, one-boss instance rather than a full raid night, so it is the quickest weekly gear source in Season 2 outside Delves. Three difficulties are available:

  • Normal — from $17.10 with Group Loot;
  • Heroic — from $53.10 with Group Loot;
  • Mythic — from $449.10, sold with Full Loot Priority only;
  • Loot ladder on Normal and Heroic: Group Loot, Unsaved Group Loot, Armor Type & Token Priority and Full Loot Priority, up to 5-6 items;
  • Up to 15 runs per order, priced per run;
  • Self-play by default; piloted costs the same, remote-desktop self-play adds 30%.

Every run is played by hand by real raiders — no bots. Season 2 opens on 18 August 2026 in North America and 19 August in Europe.

Frequently asked questions

  • The Tidebound Grotto is the lair introduced in patch 12.1 "Curse of Ula’tek". A lair is a single-boss instance that sits outside the main raid; this one holds Nymrissa Wavecaller and runs on Normal, Heroic and Mythic.

  • Normal starts at $17.10, Heroic at $53.10 and Mythic at $449.10. Adding loot priority raises the price: Full Loot Priority on Normal runs from $152.09 and on Heroic from $332.09. You can book up to 15 runs on one order.

  • Yes, if you want gear without committing a whole evening. Nymrissa Wavecaller is one fight rather than an eight-boss clear, and the lockout is weekly, so it is the fastest instanced gear drop in Season 2 outside Delves.

  • No. Self-play is the default and the safest choice: you join the group on your own character and play the fight while the team handles the mechanics. Piloted is available at the same price, and remote-desktop self-play lets you watch on your own screen for 30% more.
