Sanctuary Raid: Ludra returns on 4 November, and r/Aion2 still can't agree on how much Accuracy it takes. One player says 700. Another says 1,500. Both numbers come from real data, just not from the same version of the game, and NC has published no Accuracy table at all.
This guide covers the AION 2 global PC build as of 31 October 2026, after the 28 October patch and before Ludra's return. It explains how the check works, which numbers came from global and which came from Korea or Taiwan, what being short actually costs you, and how to read your own parry rate in the built-in Combat Analysis.
Quick answer: AION 2 has no fixed Accuracy cap. Your effective cap is the target's Block, and every point past it does nothing. Global players report almost no parries in Transcendence Stage 4 at about 700 to 800 total Accuracy. Korean and Taiwanese Ludra needed about 1,450, and one community estimate for global Ludra is about 1,200, which is unconfirmed. Go in with 800 or more, then let your BLOC column decide.

What does Accuracy do in AION 2?
Accuracy decides how many of your hits land in full. The client's own description, as MetaBot reproduces it, is short: "Prevents attack from missing. Offset by target's Evasion and Block."
In practice, players treat it as a straight subtraction. AION 2 Timers describes it this way: Accuracy comes off the target's Block one for one, and whatever Block remains becomes the chance that your hit gets parried or blocked. Match the target's Block and you're never blocked again.
Three details change how you should read that:
- A parry isn't a miss. The hit still lands for reduced damage. One r/Aion2 player put it plainly: "It doesn't miss. The damage is halved."
- Hits from behind skip the check. Aion 2 Maps and r/Aion2 testers agree that attacks from behind can't be blocked or parried, whatever your Accuracy.
- None of this is official. AION 2 Timers says it checked 84 official guidebook pages and 158 Korean patch notes and found no Accuracy formula, cap or conversion. Every figure below is a player measurement or a client reading.
Is there an Accuracy cap in AION 2?
No tooltip states one. The number that matters is the Block of whatever you're fighting, so your cap moves with the content. Past that point, extra Accuracy adds nothing.
The stats that do have written caps are listed in the client text:
| Stat | Stated cap on global | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Critical Hit rate | 50% | Reduced by the target's Critical Hit Resist |
| Evasion rate | 30% | A rate cap, not a limit on the stat number |
| Cooldown reduction | 60% | Client text |
| MP cost reduction | 60% | Client text |
| Move Speed | 150% | Client text |
| Parry or block chance | 80% (measured) | Player tests, not in a tooltip |
That crit line explains a lot of bad advice. Korea's crit cap is 80%, according to MMO Herald, so Korean stat targets aim far higher than global needs. MetaBot quotes the global tooltip directly: "Max Critical Hit Rate is 50%, and this is reduced by target's Critical Hit Resist."
Crit also stops mattering during a stagger. Aion 2 Maps reports that a staggered boss takes crits on about 95% of hits, whatever your Critical Hit stat says.
How much Accuracy do you need for Ludra, Transcendence and Hard mode?
Here's every usable number, labeled by where it came from. Nobody has a figure for the Ludra that's coming back. Early Access groups cleared the original version before NC pulled it, and NC says it returns on 4 November with new mechanics.
| Content | Accuracy figure | Source | How far to trust it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Below about 2,500 item level | Not a concern | r/Aion2 player advice | Good, and it matches parry logs |
| Global Transcendence Stage 4 | About 700 to 800 total | r/Aion2 reports: 702 fully buffed saw 1% parried, 800 saw none | Fair, a few players only |
| Global Expedition Hard (2,600 to 2,700 ilvl) | No figure yet | None we'd trust | Plan as Stage 4 until logs appear |
| Global Ludra Normal (2,800 ilvl) | About 1,200 | MMO Herald projection, marked unconfirmed | Weak |
| Transcendence Stage 10 and Expedition Hard, Asian service | About 1,100 | AION 2 Timers, two community measurements | Not global |
| Korean and Taiwanese Ludra | About 1,450 to 1,500 | AION 2 Timers, Aion 2 Maps, MMO Herald | Solid, but not for global |
| Global Ludra Hard (3,000 ilvl) | Nothing published | None | Unknown |
The Korean numbers keep leaking into global advice, and global players push back hard. "We have way less Accuracy and Precision from Pets and the Precision soulbind on Weapons is heavily nerfed," one wrote on r/Aion2. Another wrote that "the accuracy requirements on our region is basically halved for all content." Those are player reports, and they fit the parry numbers above. One player in the same thread even claimed around 450 with no parries at Stage 4, so the spread is wide.
Our call for 4 November: have 800 total Accuracy with buffs before you enter Ludra Normal. Don't give up offensive rolls to chase 1,200 until global clears show it's needed. Those Stage 4 reports date from 21 October, before the patch, but the boss changes in the 28 October notes cover Attack, Damage Boost and HP and don't mention Block.
How much damage do you actually lose if you're short?
Less than the forum panic suggests. Two separate unknowns drive the answer, and we ran both ends:
- Parry chance per 100 Accuracy short: AION 2 Timers measured a flat 10 points across 600 hits per sample. Aion 2 Maps uses an average of about 6.66 points on a curve.
- Damage lost per parried hit: AION 2 Timers measured about 20% to 30% for weapon parries. The community guide most players quote says 50%.
| Accuracy short | Parried (6.66 to 10 per 100) | Damage lost, low end | Damage lost, high end |
|---|---|---|---|
| 100 | 7% to 10% | 1.3% | 5% |
| 200 | 13% to 20% | 2.7% | 10% |
| 400 | 27% to 40% | 5.3% | 20% |
| 800 | 53% to 80% | 10.7% | 40% |
Low end means 6.66 per 100 at 20% lost per parry. High end means 10 per 100 at 50% lost. These are our own calculations from those published figures, and they assume every hit lands from the front or side.
Two things follow from this table. Being 100 short is a small loss, not a broken build. And the claim that someone "deals double" purely because of Accuracy doesn't hold up, since even the worst case here is a 40% loss. A big DPS gap between two similar characters usually has more than one cause.
If you land a third of your hits from behind, cut those losses by about a third, because those hits skip the check. That's a free gain that needs no gear at all.
What does Precision do, and is it better than Accuracy?
Precision is an attribute, while Accuracy is a combat stat. Each point of Precision gives +0.1% Accuracy and +0.1% Critical Hit, per MetaBot's client tables. It multiplies the Accuracy and Critical Hit points you already have. It doesn't add crit chance directly.
So 200 Precision on a character with 600 Accuracy points works out to +20%, or about 120 more Accuracy. That's why Precision outperforms flat Accuracy once your base is high, and why Might and Precision are the attributes players keep on weapons and accessories.
One catch comes up often: a widely shared r/Aion2 guide says Precision's percentage doesn't apply to PvE Accuracy lines. Aion 2 Maps also warns that sources split on how much conditional Accuracy counts, so if you're still being parried at your target, count your PvE Accuracy for less.
The other catch is your stat sheet. Aion 2 Maps says PvE Accuracy and Block Penetration count toward raid targets without showing in the main Accuracy number, so the sheet can read lower than your real total. A party buff or food adds to it as well.
How do you check your parry rate in AION 2?
You don't need extra software. AION 2 has a built-in meter called Combat Analysis, and Space4Games has a full walkthrough.
- Press Ctrl + X, or open it from the main menu under Content.
- Fight the boss you actually care about.
- Read the BLOC column for each skill, plus the Block percentage in the overview.
- Watch the fight for "Parry" text on the boss, which r/Aion2 players use as the quick tell.
- Read BACK to see how many hits came from behind.
The screenshot above is from the German client, so the labels differ, but the column codes match. This fight shows 0% BLOC and 100% ACC against a Transcendence boss, which is what a clean result looks like.
One limit: Space4Games defines BLOC simply as block, and we couldn't confirm that it counts weapon parries on your hits the same way as shield blocks. If the column and the on-screen text disagree, trust the text, and repeat the check on the same boss after each change.
How to act on the number:
- BLOC at 0% or 1%: you're at the cap for this boss. Stop chasing Accuracy.
- BLOC at 5% to 15%: you're roughly 50 to 200 short. Fix it with your next natural upgrades.
- BLOC above 20%: make it the priority, since you're likely several hundred short.
Those bands come from the same 6.66 to 10 per 100 range, so treat them as estimates. Don't use a dummy for this test either. Training Dummies are great for comparing rotations, but only a real boss tells you what that boss's Block does to you.

Where do you get more Accuracy in AION 2?
Start at the top of this list, because the first item costs nothing:
- Positioning. Hits from behind ignore the check completely. Combine this with your skill macros and rotation before spending Kina.
- Precision rolls. Weapons and accessories roll Precision as a random sub-stat. You can target it through Soul Binding.
- Freedom [Vaizel]. This deity stat raises Accuracy and Evasion. Deity stats come from Arcana cards, bracelets and artwork.
- Wings. Several wing sets carry Accuracy Bonus lines. Nightmare and Talisra Wings both list +35 in our wings guide.
- Pets. Fera Genus adds a little Accuracy, and Natura adds Precision at level 3. The pets guide has the table.
- Block Penetration. It adds to Accuracy for this check and counts toward raid targets, per Aion 2 Maps.
- Buffs and food. Players count party buffs and food in their total, so check your number while fully buffed.
Should you prioritize Accuracy, Combat Speed or Penetration?
Fix a real parry problem first, then go after damage. Once your BLOC column is near zero, Accuracy has no value for that boss.
Combat Speed comes next for most builds. The tooltip says it "Increases Attack Speed and Spell Action Speed." Community PvE guides rate it top tier, and our best weapon guide covers how it rolls on gear. It also has class breakpoints and depends on ping and frame rate, so the gain varies by PC. AION 2 Timers has a checker for it.
Penetration is usually a filler. It reduces the target's Defense, but Defense is only worth about 10% of its value in PvE, according to Aion 2 Maps, so 100 Penetration is roughly 10 base damage per skill use. MMO Herald calls it a weak stat for the same reason. Don't confuse it with Block Penetration, which helps with parries.
If you're choosing between a guard with Combat Speed and one without, check your BLOC first. If it's clean, take the Combat Speed. Our Combat Power guide explains why the CP number alone won't settle this.
Does Accuracy work the same in PvP?
No. PvE Accuracy does nothing against players, while Accuracy and PvP Accuracy both count, according to Aion 2 Maps' client read. Players also bring Block and Evasion of their own, so the numbers run higher.
Two PvP-only details matter. AION 2 Timers says Templar and Cleric shields turn Block into twice as much block chance, so you need about twice the Accuracy lead against them. And Blind ignores your build: Aion 2 Maps lists Assassin's Smoke Bomb and a Ranger's Illusory Arrow at 30,000 Accuracy lost for a few seconds. Stop stacking Accuracy to beat that.
FAQ
What is the Accuracy cap in AION 2? There's no fixed cap. Your effective cap is the Block of the boss you're fighting, and points past it do nothing. Global players report about 700 to 800 total at Transcendence Stage 4.
How much Accuracy do I need for Ludra on global? Nobody knows yet, because the reworked raid doesn't return until 4 November and NC hasn't published a figure. Korean and Taiwanese Ludra took about 1,450. One global projection says about 1,200 and players argue for less. Enter with 800 or more and read your BLOC column after the first clear.
Accuracy vs Precision: which one should I take? Precision adds Critical Hit as well as a percentage of your Accuracy, so it's usually the better roll on weapons and accessories. Flat Accuracy is worth more only if you're a little short and need a known number.
Why does my character sheet show less Accuracy than my guild's target? Targets normally include buffs, food, PvE Accuracy and Block Penetration. The main sheet figure leaves conditional sources out, so compare like with like before you reroll anything.
Can I check my parry rate without a third-party meter? Yes. Open Combat Analysis with Ctrl + X, read the BLOC column and watch for "Parry" text on the boss. NC enforces against third-party tools, so we recommend using the built-in meter.
Do bosses have Evasion in AION 2? Sources disagree. A popular r/Aion2 guide says monsters can't evade, while another guide notes that the client's PvE Accuracy text mentions monster Evasion. For planning, treat Block as the stat that matters against bosses.
The bottom line
Stop trusting a single Accuracy number, especially one that started in Korea. Aim for about 800 fully buffed before Ludra, land more of your hits from behind, and open Combat Analysis after every new boss. If BLOC reads zero, spend your next upgrade on damage. We'll update this page once global Ludra clears give real numbers.
