TL;DR: How do you craft Diablo 4 Unique Charms in Season 15?
Combine 1 compatible Ancestral Unique equipment item, 3 spare Unique Charms, 1 Enhanced Primordial Dust, 50 Raw Primordial Dust, and 100 Infused Horadric Resin using the Horadric Cube's Craft Unique Charm recipe. Current recipe. The reported 23-item list has a discrepancy: Blizzard's live notes name 22 additions, while Maxroll also lists Squirt's Blouse. The checklist below marks that extra entry for an in-game check. Blizzard's release notes, Maxroll's launch list.
A good Unique Charm lets you keep an item power while freeing its equipment slot for something else. That's a useful escape from awkward gearing choices. But the conversion consumes ingredients you might want for another build, so clicking through recipes just to clear your stash is an expensive habit.
This guide covers the crafting bill, every name on the reported list, the conversion steps, and how to choose between crafting and rerolling. Sources were checked on September 23, 2026, against the live Season of Hell's Legacy release rather than treating the earlier PTR as final.

What does the Horadric Cube Unique Charm recipe cost?
The compatible equipment item determines which Charm you create. You don't need a different material combination for each supported item.
| Ingredient | One conversion | Three conversions |
|---|---|---|
| Compatible Ancestral Unique equipment | 1 | 3 |
| Spare Unique Charms, any kind | 3 | 9 |
| Enhanced Primordial Dust | 1 | 3 |
| Raw Primordial Dust | 50 | 150 |
| Infused Horadric Resin | 100 | 300 |
The first column follows Maxroll's current Cube reference; the three-craft totals are calculated. These are ingredient budgets, not a promise that you can equip three Unique Charms together.
Notice the equipment requirement: Ancestral Unique. An ordinary copy with the correct name doesn't meet that requirement. Your three sacrifice Charms must also be Unique; spare Set Charms aren't substitutes.
Keep the first craft and later optimization separate in your budget. Making the Charm gets the power into your planned loadout. Chasing ideal rolls is another spending decision, and it's easier to judge after you've actually played the new setup.
Where do you unlock the Cube?
Unlock the Horadric Cube during the Lord of Hatred campaign; afterward, the station is available in Temis. To use Charms, your Talisman needs a Seal, which can unlock up to 6 Charm slots. Slot availability depends on the Seal. Blizzard's expansion systems overview.
Which 23 Unique items appear on the Season 15 checklist?
These are newly supported conversions, not the entire game's craftable-Charm catalogue. Blizzard lists 16 existing Uniques plus 6 Legacy Uniques. Maxroll's launch coverage adds Squirt's Blouse as entry 23. Official list, secondary launch list.

| 20 | Nemesis Bracers | Blizzard; Legacy |
| 21 | Stone of Jordan | Blizzard; Legacy |
| 22 | The Furnace | Blizzard; Legacy |
| 23 | Squirt's Blouse | Maxroll only; check live Cube |
Squirt's Blouse needs verification before you commit materials. Its omission from Blizzard's current list doesn't establish that it was removed. It does mean the available documentation cannot support an unconditional promise that all 23 work identically on live servers.
Don't extend the list by association, either. A returning Legacy item doesn't automatically have a confirmed Charm conversion. Use the named entries and the recipe's accepted inputs when planning your collection.
What would crafting the whole confirmed list cost?
For the 22 Blizzard-listed additions, the calculated total is 22 compatible equipment items, 66 sacrifice Charms, 22 Enhanced Dust, 1,100 Raw Dust, and 2,200 Resin. This excludes every subsequent reroll.
If your live Cube accepts Squirt's Blouse, adding that conversion brings the budget to 23 equipment items, 69 sacrifice Charms, 23 Enhanced Dust, 1,150 Raw Dust, and 2,300 Resin. That's a conditional collection budget, not a recommendation. Most characters will benefit more from finishing one useful loadout first.
How do you craft a Unique Charm step by step?
- Choose the power you need. Identify the equipment slot you'll free and what will replace the consumed item.
- Reserve a compatible Ancestral copy. Keep valuable equipment you still use out of the ingredient selection.
- Select three expendable Unique Charms. Check their powers and rolls before sacrificing them.
- Open Craft Unique Charm in the Cube. Add the equipment and Charm ingredients, then confirm you have the Dust and Resin listed above.
- Review the selected recipe and inputs. A rejected item is a reason to stop and check compatibility, not to keep feeding in more valuable copies.
- Equip the result and test the whole setup. Compare it with your previous loadout in the content you normally run.
Check the recipe name before confirming. Craft Unique Charm uses equipment to choose the resulting Charm. Recycle Uniques instead takes three copies of the same Unique equipment item or Charm and makes a new version of that item. 3 to 1 Transmutation turns three items of the same type into a random new item. Icy Veins' recipe comparison.
That distinction matters if you've arrived with three spare Charms and expect the power from your equipment. Select the conversion recipe. Don't assume every operation using three items will deliver the same target, and don't sacrifice matching copies unnecessarily.

Which Unique Charm should you craft first?
Start with a gearing problem you can describe in one sentence: "I need this power, but I want a different item in that slot." That's a stronger reason to craft than recognizing a famous item name.
Compare complete loadouts
Put your current equipment setup beside the proposed Charm setup. Include the replacement equipment in that comparison. Moving a power into the Talisman isn't much of a plan if the freed slot has nothing useful waiting for it.
Check resource sustain, damage conditions, cooldown availability, and defense. Then test a familiar farming route. Record completion time and deaths, and notice whether you spend more time waiting for resources or cooldowns. Keep the difficulty and route comparable so the result means something.
A faster boss kill doesn't excuse a setup that falls apart between packs. Equally, a comfortable farming loadout doesn't need to win a theoretical damage contest to earn its place.
Protect your existing set bonuses
Unique Charms supply their corresponding Unique power plus 2 random affixes. Set Charms grant additional bonuses as you equip more pieces from their set. Replacing a Set Charm can therefore cost more than its individual stats. Current Talisman rules.
Read the active bonuses before and after the swap. If losing one breaks your rotation, park the new Charm until you can reorganize the Talisman. You haven't wasted the craft by waiting; forcing it into a worse setup would be the mistake.

How do you gather the crafting materials efficiently?
Treat equipment, sacrifice Charms, and crafting materials as separate needs. Having a mountain of Resin won't replace the three Charms you salvaged yesterday.
Reserve ingredients before salvaging
Unwanted Charms and Seals can be salvaged at the Occultist for Infused Horadric Resin. Talisman salvage reference.
Before a cleanup, reserve ingredients for your next planned conversion. Then keep any Charm you expect to use on your current build or an alternative. Salvage the leftovers.
This takes seconds and prevents an irritating loop: salvage everything for Resin, realize you still need Unique Charms, then farm replacements. A dedicated stash space for your next craft is enough. The goal is to make the next decision obvious when you're tired after a long session.
Farm the missing ingredient
Blizzard names Elite monsters, War Plans Cube Spoils, Undercity Tributes, and Whisper Caches among the sources of Cube crafting materials. That is a source list, not a guarantee that each activity supplies every ingredient. Official crafting overview.
Check what's holding up your craft before choosing another activity. If you need the source equipment, plan around that item; if you're short on salvage, keep inspecting Charm and Seal drops instead of treating every reward as vendor clutter.
Don't chase an unsupported materials-per-hour claim. Your clear speed, difficulty, and salvage decisions change the result. Track a few comparable runs and favor the route that advances both the craft and your character. Our Diablo 4 Season 15 endgame guide can help organize the wider progression loop.
Should you reroll the Charm or craft another one?
First identify the problem: weak values on useful affixes, unsuitable affixes, or a poor Unique-power roll. Those aren't interchangeable.
Use Affix Value Reroll for useful affixes with weak values
This option changes base-affix values while protecting properties such as Greater Affixes, Enchants, and Tempers. Blizzard distinguishes it from the recipe that replaces Talisman base affixes. Blizzard's crafting recap.
Use Horadric Reroll to change the base affixes
Horadric Reroll works on Legendary-or-higher Charms and Seals. It randomizes base affixes while preserving set bonuses and Unique/Mythic Charm powers; a Seal's Charm Set Bonus affixes also remain intact. Blizzard's recipe rules.
If the preserved power is your problem, this won't fix it. Check the separate Unique Power Reroll operation and its eligibility requirements in the Cube. The recipe reference distinguishes power rerolls from base-affix changes. Cube reroll options.
Set a stopping point before spending. Keep a functional Charm available while improving another if your stash allows it. Once the replacement makes your actual runs better, take it out and play; a perfect tooltip isn't required for a productive farming session.
Can this recipe create a Mythic Unique Charm?
Don't budget an ordinary conversion as a guaranteed Mythic upgrade. Blizzard describes the acquisition route directly: “Acquire Mythic Charms, which have a small chance to drop whenever a Unique charm drops.” No numerical drop rate accompanies that statement. Blizzard, Diablo IV: What's Next panel recap.
Blizzard's earlier PTR explanation explicitly said Mythic Charms had no crafting method. The live recap continues to describe drops. Neither supports treating Mythic equipment as a guaranteed Mythic Charm ingredient.
Build around an obtainable ordinary Charm if it solves your immediate problem. Revisit the loadout if a Mythic drops, instead of leaving an essential power missing while you wait.

FAQ
Why won't the Cube accept my Unique item? Check that the equipment is Ancestral and has a supported Charm conversion. Then check the recipe and ingredient types. The item name alone isn't enough, and Set Charms don't replace the required Unique Charms.
Do I need three matching Unique Charms? No. The conversion accepts three Unique Charms of any kind. The compatible Ancestral equipment identifies the Charm you want to make. Ingredient reference.
Can I target a specific Unique Charm? You can craft a supported one from its equipment counterpart and the required ingredients. That gives you a named crafting target; it doesn't establish a guaranteed direct-drop farming route.
Does converting equipment copy all its stats into the Charm? Don't expect a complete equipment-stat transfer. Unique Charms have their own two random affixes alongside the corresponding Unique power. Keep equipment you still need until you've evaluated the replacement setup. Charm properties.
Where do I get Infused Horadric Resin? Salvage unwanted Charms and Seals at the Occultist. Reserve your next conversion's sacrifice Charms before salvaging duplicates, or you may solve one ingredient shortage by creating another. Salvage reference.
Can every Unique item become a Charm? No. Some equipment is excluded from the recipe. This checklist covers reported Season 15 additions, while the full Cube catalogue also includes older conversions. Verify compatibility before building around an unlisted item. Conversion restrictions.
