Most banner-history pages give you a list. A list does not answer the question people actually have, which is "if I skip this one, how long am I waiting?"
This page has the list — every Signal Search channel from launch day to tomorrow — and then it does the arithmetic on it. Twenty-six Agents have had a rerun. That is a big enough sample to give you real numbers instead of vibes.
Quick answer: Zenless Zone Zero has run 67 Exclusive Channels across 38 phases in 20 versions, covering 40 distinct S-Rank Agents, from 2024-07-04 to the V3.2 Phase II opening on 2026-09-30. Of the 26 Agents who have had a second Exclusive Channel, the fastest first rerun was 133 days (Ju Fufu) and the slowest was 273 days (Caesar King and Tsukishiro Yanagi), with a median of 189 days and a mean of 193. No S-Rank has ever returned faster than 133 days. Only Ellen Joe has had three Exclusive Channel runs. Two Exclusive Rescreening windows have re-offered six Agents outside the normal rerun cycle, which is why the naive "never rerun" list you see elsewhere is wrong.
What is the full Zenless Zone Zero banner history?
Every version since launch has opened with a Signal Search, and all but two split it into a Phase I and a Phase II roughly three weeks apart. The table below is every window, with the S-Rank Agent and the channel name that carried them.
Two structural notes before the table, because they change how you read it. V1.0 through V1.3 ran one Exclusive Channel per phase — two new S-Ranks per version. V1.4 broke that, and V1.5 onward has run two concurrent Exclusive Channels per phase, which is four S-Rank slots per version instead of two — with two exceptions, V2.5 and V3.1, explained further down.

Alongside those 67 Exclusive Channels the game has run 69 W-Engine Channels over the same 2024-07-04 to 2026-09-30 period. Every phase notice we checked pairs one W-Engine Channel to each Agent channel, which gives 67, plus the two selectable W-Engine Reverberation windows that accompany a Rescreening. The V3.2 Phase II notice shows the standard pairing, listing Crimson Moon Casket against Roxy's channel and Frostfall Sickle against Promeia's.
How long does a ZZZ rerun actually take?
Twenty-six Agents have had a second Exclusive Channel. Here is the whole distribution, measured from the day their debut channel opened to the day their rerun channel opened.

Three things fall out of that.
The floor is hard. In 26 samples nothing has come back in under 133 days open-to-open, which is roughly three and a bit versions. A channel in the two-phase format runs about 21 days, so measured from the day an Agent's banner closed the floor is about 112 days — three and a half months — and the 189-day median puts the typical wait closer to five and a half months from the close.
The ceiling has come down. The three longest waits on the board — Caesar King and Tsukishiro Yanagi at 273 days each, then Zhu Yuan at 252 — are all V1.0 to V1.3 debuts. That is the direct consequence of the cadence change: when a version only had two S-Rank slots, the queue moved half as fast. Every rerun that opened from V2.6 onward has landed between 139 and 245 days.
Promeia's rerun tomorrow is fast by historical standards. She debuted on Cold Rain Wanes in the Night on 2026-05-06 and the same channel reopens on 2026-09-30. That is 147 days, tying Aria and Burnice White for the fourth-shortest gap on record.
When did ZZZ switch to two banners per phase?
On 2024-12-18, with Version 1.4 "A Storm of Falling Stars." That patch put Hoshimi Miyabi and Asaba Harumasa on concurrent Exclusive Channels instead of sequential ones, and it did it inside a single Signal Search window rather than a Phase I and a Phase II. Only one other version has ever shipped a single window — V2.5, whose channel notice covers the whole version in one period with no phase split at all. V1.4's 35-day arc is short but not the shortest; V2.4 ran 34 days.
From V1.5 onward the format settled into what players see today: two phases per version, two concurrent Exclusive Channels per phase, four S-Rank slots per version. Two versions break the four-slot pattern. V2.5 shipped only two, in that single undivided window. V3.1 shipped three, because its Phase II opened Sigrid's debut channel next to an Exclusive Rescreening instead of a second new Agent channel — Remielle Dan's Paradise Regained had been given the full version rather than a half, so it was still live through Phase II. Version lengths since V1.5 have run 34 to 50 days, with 42 days by far the most common — including the current V3.2, whose 42-day length is stated in the Version 3.2 update notice.
That matters for reading the history table. Phase spacing has held at roughly 21 days throughout, so 200 days is about nine phases in any era. In V1.0 to V1.3 that rate delivered about nine S-Rank slots, because a phase carried one channel. From V1.5 onward the same nine phases deliver close to eighteen. The absolute wait in days barely moved; the number of Agents released inside that wait doubled.
What is Exclusive Rescreening and why does it break the "never rerun" lists?
Exclusive Rescreening is a selectable channel: you pick which of the offered S-Ranks you want, and the first S-Rank you pull is that Agent. The Version 2.5 Exclusive Rescreening notice states it plainly:
"The first S-Rank Signal obtained from the Exclusive Rescreening channel is guaranteed to be the currently selected limited S-Rank Agent (this guarantee mechanism is referred to below as the 'Special Guarantee')."
The same notice adds the discount that makes these windows worth planning for: "During each Exclusive Rescreening period, the first 10-Signal Searches will be 20% off, consuming only Encrypted Master Tape x8."
It has run exactly twice:
- 2026-01-21 12:00 to 2026-02-05 14:59 server time — Alice Thymefield, Soldier 0 - Anby, Astra Yao
- 2026-08-19 12:00 to 2026-09-08 14:59 server time — Dialyn, Ukinami Yuzuha, Asaba Harumasa, per the V3.1 Phase II notice
Neither window replaced an Agent channel. Both ran alongside live Exclusive Channels. The V2.5 one lasted 15 days and opened partway into V2.5's single undivided channel window, so Ye Shunguang and Zhao were still available the whole time it was up. The V3.1 one lasted 20 days, a normal phase length, and shared V3.1 Phase II with Sigrid's debut channel.
Four of those six slots went to Agents who had never had a solo rerun: Asaba Harumasa (V1.4 debut, still no second Exclusive Channel), Soldier 0 - Anby, Alice Thymefield and Dialyn. This is the part every list gets wrong. If you sort by "Agents with only one Exclusive Channel" you will see those four at the top of a "never rerun" list, and it is misleading — all four have been re-offered, on a channel with a better guarantee than the one they debuted on.
One more nuance worth knowing if you are tracking pity: the Rescreening pity pool is separate. The notice is explicit that "the Search count for guaranteed Signals is cumulative across all Exclusive Rescreening channels but is independent of and unaffected by other types of channels." Which ZZZ Agents are overdue for a rerun?
Strip out everyone who has been re-offered through Rescreening and the genuinely-waiting list is short. Measured against the 189-day median, as of 2026-09-29:

Roxy is omitted above because her debut channel has not opened yet. A note on naming: the tables use the full Agent names as the wiki records them, while HoYoverse's notices use the short in-game forms — Alice, Sigrid, Roxy, Claret. Where the two disagree on spelling, the notice wins, which is why the channel here is Cindernight Respite and not the wiki's older "Cindernite."
Banyue and Zhao are the only two S-Ranks in the game who have passed the median with no rerun and no Rescreening appearance. Both debuted in the V2.4-to-V2.5 stretch. Cissia is the next one up: at 167 days she is clear of the 133-day floor and closing on the median, so she is genuinely in range. Everyone below her on that table is still inside the floor, so a return for them would be unprecedented rather than overdue.

What is live right now, and what changes tomorrow?
Today is the last full day of V3.2 Phase I. The V3.2 Limited-Time Channels Phase I notice sets the end as "After the Version 3.2 Update – 2026/09/30 11:59 (server time)," which closes Bloodmoon Rising (Claret Flint) and Axiom of Captivation (Nangong Yu).
Phase II opens one minute later. The Phase II notice gives the window as 2026/09/30 12:00 to 2026/10/20 14:59 server time, carrying Roxy on Cindernight Respite and Promeia's rerun on Cold Rain Wanes in the Night. That 11:59-to-12:00 same-day handoff is not new: every version that has shipped a second-half channel since V1.7 has used it, V3.2 included. There is no dead window between the two phases.
A question that comes up every time a phase closes is whether to spend now or hold for the next patch. The history gives a partial answer. Nangong Yu's channel closes tomorrow, and her own debut-to-rerun gap was 169 days against a 189-day median — she is one of the faster returners on the board, which argues for patience if she is not a priority. An Agent who has never reappeared, or one whose last run was over 250 days ago, is the opposite case. Anyone appearing in an unannounced future version is a guess, and this page will not pretend otherwise. Our ZZZ upcoming characters page tracks only what HoYoverse has formally revealed.
How was this banner list built?
Every row comes from the per-channel notice pages for each Signal Search, cross-checked against the HoYoLAB version notices linked above. Dates are the channel open date in server time. Rerun gaps are calculated between channel open dates, not between version numbers, because version lengths vary by 16 days across the sample and would distort the arithmetic.
Two deliberate exclusions. The Star-Studded Cast Stable Channel is not in this history because it is permanent and does not rotate. The Bangboo Channel is not counted in the 67 either — An Outstanding Partner is permanent, it is paid for in Boopon rather than Encrypted Master Tape, and it is not what people mean by a banner.
